WOW! The pictures do not do it justice. Casa Peya is BEAUTIFUL, cozy, relaxing, and just an absolute dream.
Carles, the owner is an amazing human being, and the best host. We made the mistake of not having a car so Carles personally offered us a ride. When we had an early checkout (7am), we still came and made breakfast.
Honestly if there was a way to give a rating above 10, we would. This was the highlight of our honeymoon so far.
Thank you Carles, and happy 7 years!

Simply the best choice. I would go back every time.

It’s a nice close walk to anything in town and the beach. Staff were quite pleasant and the breakfast was great!
Palafrugell is a quaint Costa Brava town but fairly quiet.
Palafrugell is a quaint Costa Brava town but fairly quiet. Cala Palafrugell is the coastal part of the town connected by a long walk or short drive. Nice place to have lunch with beaches etc. We booked to stay for a couple of weeks to explore the coastline and Girona but frankly that was too long and in the midst of winter, despite clear blue skies, nothing much happens! Centre Fraternal does good local lunches at reasonable prices and the best pizza in town (real oven) is at Pizza del Simon.

just another beautiful beach resort. don't go there if you want action or more than a beach holiday. There's nothing there except Habernas festival which wasn't all that it was cracked up to be!

I was traveling alone for a family wedding and was not really focused on what the town had to offer. When I got a chance to explore the locality I was surprised by its charm. There was an abundance of restaurants and cafes with different types of food for different pallets. It is very family-friendly and the town retains its cultural roots. It is not a lively destination but some of the local coastal towns may offer more excitement. The cost to eat out is very good. Taxi prices are costly even for short journeys. Overall, Palafrugell is worth a visit.

I love Palafrugell, Llfranc and Callela.
I love Palafrugell, Llfranc and Callela. Fantastic restaurants, bars, good shops, plenty of supermarkets, great beaches, crazy golf and cycle and running tracks out into the countryside. Easy to get to so many other nice towns and tourist sites from here.

A place to kick back and chill out.
A place to kick back and chill out. Plaça Nova is the place for morning coffee and a pastry from Serra. There was a jazz festival happening while we were there so the week end was hopping. Close to Calella if you want beach. Further afield is Palamos (15 mins) or Platja de Pals (20 mins)

It is almost two miles to the beaches.
It is almost two miles to the beaches. There is a bus service but rather infrequent out of high season. It is a pleasant small town with a bus station giving access to Barcelona, Girona and many coastal resorts. Plenty of places to eat suited to all pockets.
The apartment was surprisingly big and perfect for us with 2 adults and 4 grown up kids. It was well equipped allowing us to cook several times. The neighbourhood is very quiet. And the pool was lovely. It was a 10 minute walk down to the beaches which are all beautiful, as is the town of Calella with its vibrant restaurants and cafes. We had a hire car so explored the area which is really beautiful, Begur, Peratadella, Tamarui and too many wonderful beaches and coves to mention. We'll be back!
Amazing property with plenty of space.
The cleaning standards were outstanding.
Kitchen fully operative and with everything you need.
As extra you get board games, books, TV, guitar, kids entertainment corners and much more.
The surroundings are enchanting with some of the best beaches and hikes in Costa Brava.
A shoebox room in any other hotel would cost you at least 80 usd in september.
This is a hidden gem! It has to be on your bucket list, the owners are charming and very attentives to appreciable details everywhere you look, stay or eat. Breakfast is inventive, healthy and delicious; Beds are super comfortable, rooms are large, coloured softly, decorated beautifully; Hotel has a soul rarely available.
The place is simply amazing! The rooms are ok, but the overall vibe exceeded my expectations. Huge public areas, the building itself deserved 10 points, very friendly staff, wonderful breakfast, everything clean and comfy (do not expect amenities of a 5 star hotel, though, and it'll be fine!), quiet and relaxing.
Fabulous hotel in a beautifully restored building in the heart of the town. The owners were so hospitable with great recommendations for restaurants, bike hire etc. Breakfast was delicious. We will definitely be back ! Lovely area for cycling with pretty villages and beautiful wee coves for swimming
I spend only 3 days in Costa Brava and only 1 night at Casa Peya and it was the most wonderful experience of all. The hotel, breakfast, our room - everything was just excellent. Carlos is one amazing person and I can not recommend staying at his beautiful hotel enough.
The flat was very nice, had a very good room, and the extra bed was a big one too. The bathroom was very nice. It is an apart hotel, so in the reception, they gave us a few tips on what to do and where to go. Very nice staff. It also has parking places nearby.
This is a very nice and comfortable apartment, in a nice property with pool, half a kilometer from the beaches and main spots of interest of Calella de Palafrugell. A very good choice to visit the different beaches and tourist attractions around Palafrugell.
Amazing little house with lots of history. Perfect location to explore beautiful Palafrugell and surroundings. Daily fresh produce market just around the corner. Spectacular beaches only 10 minutes down the road. Cataluña at its best.
Beautiful and independently owned hotel with great interior design, newly renovated. Breakfast was delicious. Owners are very wonderful, very attentive and kind. Clean, peaceful, and centrally located in the town.
Great location. Excellent host - couldn't do enough for us. Fantastic breakfast- the food just kept coming! Beautiful courtyard and pool. It was quite honestly the best all round hotel I have stayed at.
All good. Comfortable, clean, quiet, friendly receptionist. We would stay here again without hesitation and highly recommend this hotel and the town of Palafrugal itself!
The location was amazing to catch the bus into calella de palafrugell - only two minutes to the bus stop! It was a homey unit with a great kitchen for cooking.
Beautiful hotel renewed with taste and simplicity. Lovely warm swimming pool to relax. Nice breakfast, good and natural with home made and local products.
it was in a great spot to explore Palafrugell and really close to the affordable parking area. the bar downstairs is very cool too and has an awesome vibe
