You can park the car for free only 2 minutes walking distance.

Annemarie has travelled all over the world and now decided to live in Medina-Sidonia with its lovely climate, where she enjoys welcoming guests and sharing her knowledge about the area.

Medina-Sidonia is one of the oldest cities in Europe and part of the Pueblos Blancos, the famous white villages. On the top of the hill you find the old castle, which is unique as it has leftovers from a Roman military fort, an Arabic fort and a medieval castle. Next to the castle is the beautiful Parish church of Santa Maria La Mayor La Coranada. After the Christian Reconquest of Medina-Sidonia from the Muslims (1264) the mosque which existed here was christianized and adapted into a first Mudejar style church. Definitely worth a visit as well! To go back in history you can also visit the archeological museum and the Ethnographic museum. Personally I love wondering through the little street, peeking into people's courtyards and ending in the Plaza de España for a drink or a bite to eat with friends.
