I wasn't able to use the breakfast and the hot tub was broken, the gym was not in use and the maid entered into my room when the do not DISTURB SIGN was out. The bathroom was not really cleaned well and the staff at the front desk listened to my problem but the manager had a tin ear and would not give an inch as to what happened and kept offering me drinks instead of something off of the price of the room. He wasn't helpful and the little investigation that was done was actually accusing me of not putting out the sign properly! When we went in to have dinner one night the bar tender ignored us and acted as if we weren't there when we were the ONLY attendees in the whole restaurant. I wasn't happy with service at all!

Barcelona is a very nice place to visit with safe streets for walking, colourful and vibrant environment with all the history that comes with it. Food was amazing in most places. The hot chocolate drinks anywhere and everywhere are the best. The smaller boquerias are a must destination. Public transportation is very good. Don't be fooled though by people trying to be helpful, especially if you have a very simple jewellery on your person.

Barcelona is a beautiful city.
Barcelona is a beautiful city. Love the Sagrada Familia - could spend a half day there. Picasso & Miro museums and wonderful. Lots to see and enjoy. DO NOT RECOMMEND the POBLE ESPANYOL!!! We bought our tickets online only to show up with Seniors offered at 10eu instead of the 14e we paid. Then over 75% of the places were closed. The place seemed abandoned and there were only a few people walking around. Total waste of time and money!

I'm not easily impressed but I was and the energy of the place was amazing. I went to recharge and uplift my spirit; it was a mission accomplished. I can't wait to go back. I booked a street art tour, my highlight where we visited art galleries and met some mural artists. The train system was extremely easy to understand and ride with just the guidance of Google Maps. My favourite spot was the Gothic Quarter or Barri Gòtic where I spent most of my time. I also dared to go out on my own as a woman to the Super Mercat a small electronic bar on Sunday and I felt very safe. People were respectful and friendly. Also, I was very happy to easily walk about 10,000 steps per day.

Really easy city to navigate and feel safe - traveled solo with my 15 year old and it was a great trip
DO get an artcard that gets you in to the top 5 galleries/museums its easy and much cheaper
DO book your visits to the Guadi buildings - cathedral, park and houses - as these get booked up well in advance and you can't get on the day tickets
Stay off the Ramblers for food choices you can get much better down the side roads and in the market

What an incredible experience.
What an incredible experience. My 14yr old daughter and I spent 2 nights and 3 days in Barcelona and it was simply not enough.
We walked and made use of the City Tour Hop on Hop Off for a 24-hour ticket. We used it from 2pm to 2pm which meant we could drive around and see the sights at night with no safety concerns. (they have a great online app).
Booked Sagrada Familia via their direct app which included an audio walking tour.
Must see: MOCO Museum (in addition to the favorites).
Used Airalo for data Esim and The Aerobús shuttle bus with lots of luggage space that connects the two terminals T1 and T2 of Barcelona Airport (BCN) with the city center. The buses run 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, with very frequent services. Euro12,25pp.
Take a look at Barcelona City Pass as well.
Safety was a huge concern ito pick pockets, but we used common sense (did not walk off the beaten track alone or after dark, no jewelry and made sure we always had our chest bags secure in front of us.)
My 14yr old has simply had enough walking and museums by day 3, but mom could've easily added another 2 days for Montserrat and Tibidabo, but that's next time :-)

The hotel is near the city center and all public transportation stations, including subway, bus and airport bus. It’s really convenient and safe. All places are super clean, modern and good-smell. The breakfast is so good that you can have everything you want as a buffet! All the staff are really friendly and kind. It was a heavy rainy day and the reception gave us a umbrella for free. Thanks a million! I’d like to recommend to anyone who wants to book a place in Barcelona! It’s worth it!
The location is the best you can have visiting Barcelona for a few days: Near metro, airport bus, city center and all areas of interest in walking distance.
- The view from the room (superior with city view) was very nice and you couldn't hear the noise from the road.
- The breakfast was above average with many different options, but some of them lacked quality.
- The all day coffee and water was a very good addition.
The room was very clean and the bed was extra large and comfy. The hotel is very close to the metro and bus stations which allows you to go wherever you want and also is near the city center. Very easy to arrive also from the airport (El prat).
Best choice!
loved the spa , the room , the design. I will definitely come back , it’s one of the best hotel in Barcelona and I went to 5 stars one that were quite disappointing so this hotel is a really good surprise.
