The Hotel Reina Cristina has a great location in the beautiful historic quarter of Teruel, where there are many examples of Mudéjar architecture, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
On the outskirts of historic Teruel, the hotel is a perfect expression of the mixture of cultures and styles of this interesting and monumental city, home to some of the most representative buildings...

We like to stay at Paradores hotels. It was clean, comfortable, parking was free, plenty of food in the restaurant and a choice of drinks in the bar. It's located just outside of Teruel with peaceful surroundings. Easy to find, close to the motorway.

We really enjoyed this little hotel. The woman at the reception desk was very friendly and helpful and it was great that she could speak English. Our Spanish is not good at all. The room was very clean and comfortable, nicely heated on the chilly night we were there and brightly lit. And they happily stored our bicycles safely overnight in a storage room by the reception.

Teruel once began a campaign ‘Teruel Exists’ because of its remote location and the fact it so often overlooked despite being an administrive capital for the southern Aragon region. I can categorically state that it does exist after spending an all too brief night there on a cycling tour.
It is a stunning city built on a hill with an incredible rich history. The Mudejar Towers are mind-blowing and the old steps and narrow alleys of the town are steeped in history. Teruel is famous for ham with many restaurants offering the finest cuts. Valencia is on the train line so that’s also a good combination and a stunning ride if you take that journey. I did it by bike !

The experience was tainted by the fact that we arrived the day after their 3 day festival ! As a result a lot of the restaurants were closed. The city itself has a lot of outstanding buildings but it really doesn’t have too much else to justify a stop of more than one day. Great tapas in La Barrica at lunch time.

Teruel is an old historical city, people lived there since the first age DC.
It has an old center of town that can be visited on foot without too much problems. The old city center is protected as a historical place and well kept, you can see that they do a lot of effort to maintain it in its original state. We visited the Provincial Museo, is worth to see how people lived there in the last 21 centuries.

Teruel is a pretty little town steeped in history. We only stayed one night as we were travelling but intend to come back.
The town has many restaurants and bars as well as a range of shops, it was at the centre of the Spanish Civil war so if you're interested in this type of thing there are many things to see.

I needed a night stop on journey from ferry to my home on Costa Blanca. I have visited Teruel before and it was a convenient place for a night stop.
It is a very interesting town, full of history, wonderful architecture, one of the best ethnographic museums, as well as churches. Lots of excellent restaurants and good hotels.
Good for skiing in the winter, if you do that - I don’t!!!

The hotel was on the edge of the centre. The staff and hotel was fantastic, and having private parking was a bonus.
The town was easy to tour on foot and lots of bars and restaurants to visit.
Would recommend the hotel and Teruel
Everything was excellent as we were travelling through Spain with our 2 dogs and were looking for some quiet over-night accommodation. The location was beautiful (amazing views) and Sonia was the perfect host - a few beers and tapas on the terrace was most welcome. - Breakfast was great, serviced on our own small terrace. Our dogs were also made very welcome. - overall "Excellent" - and we'll be back !
Great location to see all sights. Close to old town square with good atmosphere. Clean, bright, modern apartment.
Able to easily park car in small plaza where apartments are to unload suitcases.
Parked for free near station then used the Ascensor de san Julian lift to take us back up to the bus station in the old town not too far from apartment.
The apartment is very central yet with a good view over Teruel at the back.
It is full of character with an antique feel and really nicely furnished.
It is a quiet place, very clean and access was easy after contact by whattsapp.
I found the host very informative and she helped me find parking nearby.
Situated a couple of kms from the centre of Teruel, this hotel has the benefit of outside parking all around the hotel. The rooms are quite spacious and the beds very comfortable. Our room had a ceiling fan and although it was hot outside, the ceiling fan meant we did not need the air-conditioning.
The apartment was beautiful in a fantastic location just outside the overpass bridge to get into the town, in the opposit direction was the more modern part of town so from one location you were able to see both parts of Teruel. The heated floors made it extremely comfortable.
Beautifully renovated property bang in the centre of historic Teruel. Staff were super-helpful and friendly. Dog was perfectly catered for with bed and bowls provided in our room. Hotel facilities were excellent, including outside terrace bar. Would definitely stay here again.
The apartment is small, but very comfortable. It’s in a great location right in the center. It was one of our favorite stays during our month in Spain. There’s an elevator. It has a parking space, but it’s a little difficult to get the car out (it’s easier to get in than out).
We could not have been happier with our stay. Beautiful apartment with every amenity. So comfortable. My family loved it! The location on the plaza is incredible and you have access to food, sites and shopping. The host was so nice and easy to work with. Teruel is a gem.
Excellent location, a walk to the main sights of a historic town that has seen so much history.
We loved the history of a charming hotel, with its big spacious rooms, comfortable beds and the bar downstairs making us think of Hemingway when he visited.

I had a remarkably comfortable night as I was only going on price. I just wanted somewhere to sleep for the night on my journey to the south of Spain. Both the shower and the bed were good, and I was up and gone early the next morning.
The hotel was very clean, cool (for the hot Teruel days) and quiet. The staff were also very friendly and the Wifi was fast with no interruptions. It is also sufficiently close to the old-town of Teruel less than 10 minute walk.
Excellent situation in the centre of Teruel. Very good breakfast and convenient parking close to hotel. Room was lovely and warm which was very much appreciated as weather was very cold
Everything. The hotel was gorgeous, comfortable beds, spacious rooms, well equipped bathroom. Breakfast was very good too. I think this is an excellent hotel in Teruel.
Mari Carmen was very kind, l had broken my wrist before coming to Spain, and she was helpful and kind in every way. Kudos !
The appointments and decor were great.
