This hotel is one of the most central hotels in the appealing city of Cuenca, offering its guests with a top-floor terrace boasting stunning views of the charming medieval historic quarter. Good location. Clean. Great restaurant with lovely view of the town and mountains.
We were there in mi-November. It was a time of frequent rain showers but we were able to see the old city and it’s surroundings. We did the organized tour of the medieval city which was excellent and the following day a guided tour to the Ciudad Encantada. Both were excellent, conducted by well informed, articulate and entertaining guides. We visited the Cathedral on our own but used the audio guides which are available in many languages. The Cathedral is impressive and reflects the history of the city and region over many centuries. On our last day, which was sunny we, we walked along the river banks to the sounds of running water and the birdsong from the trees that shone with the reflection of the winter sun on their gold and yellow leaves.
The Cathedral has a great guided tour. We enjoyed the archaeological museum and loved climbing the castle ruins for a great view! At the other end of town are the ruins of a synagogue and a mosque as well as an old Catholic Church. We also enjoyed the Ciudad Encantada outside of town.
Cuenca is an absolute gem! My partner and i went there to experience canyoning, kayaking, horse riding and via ferrata with uñaventura. However while in cuenca we also visited the old town which is beautiful and full of character alongside independant cafes and restaraunts. Many good places to eat in cuencas new town and modern shops with lots of open space.
The hanging houses are a must and the scary bridge. There's loads to do and see. Artisan wooden toymaker right at the top, who has other interesting things to buy. There is a very regular bus service from the depths of the new town to the old part. Honestly, that's useful to know.
If a traveler wants to experience true Spain, Cuenca is a good place to start. In addition to touring the historical sites, people can hike the trails, visit an escape room, or spend an afternoon on the 'artificial beach.' English is less widely spoken, so Cuenca is also perfect for practicing Spanish.
Nice (but on a steep hill) old town. Low down, modern town - very busy and lots of traffic. Unless you want a large supermarket, stick to the old town where in addition to bars and restaurants there are mini-market shops which probably have all you might need. For the size of the old town, the cathedral is big. A low cost audio tour of the cathedral is available. The bridge spanning the river and joining the Parador to the old town is a real bonus for anyone staying at the Parador.

Great location, friendly helpful staff, nicely decorated clean room with comfortable beds and lovely bathroom. Simple but tasty breakfast with plenty of choice. The hotel location is a little tricky, I used Google maps to view the location before we left home so it was easy to find from the main square once we arrived in Cuenca on the bus. Fabulous little town, well worth a visit. I happily recommend the hotel, we loved our stay there.

Good and comfortable hotel, located in 20 minutes by foot from city centre. There is no parking provided by the hotel, but it is not a problem to find a place in near streets, where parking is free. Personal thanks to Flora, who gave us a lot of great advices about the city. Many things, that are not in the room, you can find in a reception: hair dryer, spoons and plates, fridge, microwave

I was only at this hotel for one night but it was a really pleasant stay. The Reception Staff were very pleasant & helpful too. There was plenty eating places nearby and the bus stop is within 5 mins from the hotel. The old part of Cuenca was absolutely beautiful and I would highly recommend paying this place a visit.
