POSITIVE: Good location if you want to spend time on the northern part of Mallorca. Nice town with a nice avenue next to the beach. Good restaurants with nice view or not so loud restaurants with cheaper prices in the other streets. Definitely family friendly. Nice area to run, on the beaches or in the green area next to the town - even it is forbidden. Nice shopping streets, but every shop sell the same Chinese made whatever :) The ice creams were very tasty. No issue with parking. NEGATIVE: What was really bad is the rubbish. it was everywhere on the streets. Not next to the sea, but in the other streets. The rubbish containers were always full, but there were no people at all to clean the streets. Very disappointed. White sand beach, not the finest i've been but soft enough; Since it's a bay area, the sea is only tender for quite short time like 2h during the morning. Not really recommend for Non-swimmer. Water is still beautiful. So is the sunset with all the mountain view afar. Along the beach there're many restaurants, SPAR supermarket, Cafes.etc. Event managers may approach hot girls/boys on the beach inviting you to some nice party nights. Good side is it's convenient if you need anything from the beach. But if you're let's say "advanced" beach lover this part of Can Picafort may be touristic for you, and smaller rock side turquois-blue beach where the locals prefer might be the happier place for you rather than the long white sand beach. Getting around Can Picafort is easy and chill. It's also easy to go to Formentor for the landscape view - 40 euro by taxi. On the way to Formentor (or the way back) you could also drop by Alcudia town. The 3km walk on the prominade was very present.
The 3km walk on the prominade was very present. You see the statues along the sea shore which look better at night. Many restaurants along the prominade and good shops further inland for the avid shopper. You might expect that the tree material washed up on the shore would be removed, alas not at this point in early May. And I am not a beach bunny. You can travel by bus to Alcudia and further afield where you tap your credit card going on and off the bus and is better than a fixed fare. An ok location for cycling.LoughlinIreland

Close to the bus stop , super market and has car rent shop in under 10 mins walk . Nice restaurants and cafes are all in walking distance. Apartment is cleaned every day which is rare unless you are in a hotel. We would definitely like to come back to Can Picafort and stay in the same apartment. Tom was very helpful while I was planning the stay and provided with best options around.

The bus stop is across the road from the hotel literally 2 seconds walk which takes you round the island, about 40 mins to alcudia. You can walk down to Can Picafort main centre in about 20 mins or the less quieter sea front area in about 10 from the hotel. The rooms are big we booked a twin which had a kitchen and separate seating area!

They are always there for you, always smiling and always ready to help. I hope that you are doing everything you can to hold on to them. The hotel is located in a great location. It is really close to the beach, shops, restaurants and bus stop. The rooms are a little dated, but everything is functional. It was therefore very quiet but that was fine with us. A few cafes were open and they were great. The owner had clearly made an effort in welcoming us so absolutely no complaints on that. The bath rooms were very nice and the kitchen work well. The master bedroom was the best room.
