Super cute place. The owner put effort into details to make the place unique and charming. She was very delightful always there to answer questions and to make sure we’re having a pleasant stay. Also the breakfast is 10/10 everything fresh and in season 👌
Also super nice choice for cyclists!

Palamos is traditionally Spanish. Full of character.
Palamos is traditionally Spanish. Full of character. Excellent food - try Trias for Menu del Dia but there are loads of restaurants to choose from. El Castellet overlooking the bay is a great bar Can Joan for coffee and cake.
The town is also known for its Tapas bars - so many to choose from (but some do close in the winter)
Great Tuesday Market.

It is a very dusty location due to the fact that there is a lot of sand/earth area.
The cars get all dirty.
The beach is very windy which raises a lot of dust due to the sand having a lot of small and very dirty stones.
On windy days we are all dirty at any time of the day due to the constant dust.

We were fascinated, that you can still find nowadays such a perfect combination in a lovely old charismatic hostel with a huge terace and restaurant on the beach.) Great location, no traffic, not too far from centre, everybody very charming and helpful, parking close to the hotel in a big private area in shade underneath trees, clean ocean in a beautiful surrounding. Also enjoying a rich and healthy breakfast buffet. Too bad, we couldn't have stayed longer.

Palamós itself is a much bigger resort but staying in La Fosca is a lovely location. Easy walk in to Palamós centre for a greater choice of quality restaurants and a change of scene. Beautiful easy walks along the coastal path from La Fosca bring you to stunning coves and quieter beaches. We stayed in Girona for the first few days of our holiday, it was the perfect combination.

Only negative big hunt to exchange money, the hotel and banks do not - finally found an exchange/ by chance the travel information centre didn’t know, it was in a rental facility very poor exchange rate

Enjoyed the combination of the sea/beach, hiking, sunbathing and also wandering on the streets of Palamos. Been there for a weekend and it was the perfect destination for the perfect amount of time. Hiking on the shoreline from bay to bay is a particular highlight, might get back from more.
It was the second time we have stayed at Vostra Llar and it was just as good as before.
Clean ,comfortable and stylish throughout, with really lovely staff and a cool laid back atmosphere. The garden area is a cooling retreat from the sun, and the bar and restaurant has a long history of being popular with locals because its always been excellent.
The buffet breakfast is the best in Palamós, everything fresh and of good quality.
Relaxing, stylish and good value.
Brand new appartment at 300 metres from the centre of lovely Palamós. The owners went above and beyond our expectations. The fridge had supplies like water, some beers. We had a lovely welcome package with wine, olives and ham. We had our private parking place in the garage (much needed). We got great tips from the owners about Palamós. The appartment was spotless. I would totally recommend this place! Thank you for everything! Barbara
Went for a quick holiday for a few days and really enjoyed Malcontenta. It's an ideal spot if you want to visit the small towns of Costa Brava and great for some hiking/trekking. The restaurant is fairly standard catalan fare, but quite good and the convenience is worth it. There are nice walks to the beach, which is fairly secluded. We were not there on warm days so we didn't use the pool.
The property is: two minutes by foot to two supermarkets, ten minutes to La Fosca beach, fifteen to Castell beach or central Palamós. There are two friendly dogs at the property. There is a respectable library and lounge area for times when the weather is uncooperative or if one simply wants for reading.
Beautiful view of the marina. Prime location close to the old town, beaches, restaurants etc. Practical and clean apartment. Spacious with lots of light streaming in. Wonderful host who gave us instructions and helped out when needed. Very convenient for a family to visit Palamos and also Costa Brava.
Such a wonderful quiet little hotel. The restaurant that is on site had one of the best meals that I had on my 30 day trip in Spain. Just a short walk to the beach. The only issue for me was that it was quite empty around the area. Also, it was hard to find… I finally had to ask someone where it was.
We know the location as we visit Palamos from time to time. It is close to the old town with restaurants and tapas bars. It faces the sea, marina, fishing museum and market. Beaches are kept clean and there are lots of places to walk to. The apartment was well equipped including a fishing rod!
We loved our stay at Hostal La Fosca. It was a great location, at such a beautiful beach. Hotel was just perfect. The family room worked great, and thankfully we had a fan as the night heat in the heatwave was intense!!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back!!
The room was great, very spacious and modern. The hotel is really nice, with a great location. The beach nearby is gorgeous. Breakfast is really good, with lots of stuff to try. The pool is really big, with an on duty lifeguard, so a plus if you travel with kids.
The location is just 3 minutes walking from the main promenade in front of the beach. The hotel is very well decorated. The staff is friendly and answer all your questions. The breakfast was complete and not so busy. There is free parking nearby the location
We just love the hotel, our second visit. Great rooms, very quiet. A very good breakfast. We had cocktails every evening, and ate twice in the restaurant, both good experiences. Our next visit the Costa Brava will be in the Trias.

Incredible suite with a lot of space. Amazing breakfast. Great spot with a big garden, nice pool and a lot of relax. Very clean and luxurious. Meets the expectations of a 5 star hotel. 5 minute drive to the beach
Classic older hotel in great condition, well kept up, and family run. They clearly aim to please. Quite good restaurant too. La fosca is a very beautiful location just on the edge of Palamos.
The staff were brilliant. They went above and beyond to help make my stay comfortable and enjoyable. I will recommend the hotel and would return to the hotel in the future.
The hotel is close to the beach, yet moderately far from the city center and easily accessible by car. Located in a quiet residential area, it is quiet and comfortable.
I loved that the hotel was something like a Manor house, with stone arches, aspiring to Unique.
it was well lit at night with an iron gate, that made you feel secure.
