The hostel was absolutely fabulous and very well laid out the view from the rooftop was exceptional our room was on ground floor and very quiet the kitchen/dining/sitting area was very well organized location was questionable at first with the walk to the port and restaurants but we didn’t have a problem even in the dark lovely walk or drive to numerous beach and store locations

The little fridge in the room was game changing. The persiana and bathroom worked perfectly fine.

+ The location (El Alamillo) was fantastic with nice neighborhood, very safe and quite clean
+ Luisse was excellent host trying to help as much as she was able to
+ Very good internet connection
+ Nice views, especially from a lovely terrace
+ Two bedrooms and a small roofed place by the side, for example to park the bikes
+ A stove to stay warm during winter months or to have a romantic evening
+ Well equipped kitchen incl. washing machine, kettle, hob, oven, coffee maker, fridge, etc...
+ Plenty of parking in the street (there would be hardly any access to the house for the host if the parking space behind the gate was used to park a car so I'd say it is more a garden)
+ Insect nets in most of the windows
+ You can get a massage if you fancy that
+ 5 min walk to the nearest bar or beach

Puerto De Mazarron is a good place to go if you are looking for a quiet relaxing time.
It has a number of excellent restaurants around the harbour. There are restaurants serving a whole range of foods from sea food to Pizzas and burgers to Moroccan food

You need a car, to travel anywhere as the local beaches are around 44 mins walk apart from main town. Restaurants are good but sadly one by harbour Tiber Simon is awful. Better places in Spain for beaches and food but I think if I had a car my experience of the area would have been better no public buses and tourist centreboard closed.

Brief visit only to view property.
Brief visit only to view property. The town is a fishing port in a beautiful natural location but these days it is primarily a tourist town. Really struggled to find a restaurant open during the winter. I imagine it is a bustling place in the summer, maybe even a bit too much so given the obvious importance of the tourist trade.

Took many restaurants serving mediocre food with chips every time.
Viggos and restaurant De Mar was especially good food and stood way above the others

A nice place in low season, I guess it will be crowded in the summer, that is why we travelled in this time of the year. A few sights in town and a lot of interesting walks close to the town, with nice scenery and very quiet (again, probably due to low season). Two museums/Interpretation centers which deserve a visit.

We loved the size of the room, and the view too. The bed was confortable and the size of the room was awesome. They have a great place for parking and it only cost us 5 euros a day. The location of the hotel is great 100 meters from the beach.
The breakfast was good and the building is pretty new and well maintained. All in all we liked it a lot and would recommend it. We were there during winter time so take that into consideration, low season.
The hotel was very close to the port and main drag but the area was quiet. It is modern, very clean, tastefully decorated. The staff and the owner were friendly and paid attention to every detail. The bed was very comfortable. The lighting in the room was warm and cozy. The views from the terrace was amazing, sunset especially. The breakfast/kitchen room was quaint, great views.
The Staff were very friendly, the room was very clean with fresh towels every day. The very central location was a short walk to sea and the Port, Lots of bars and restaurants nearby. Their rates are extremely good and we wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. It is not a hotel it is a pensione, but they do everything they can to make you feel welcome and comfortable.
Incredible hotel, we stayed just as the renovation was being complete. We went for our anniversary and the amazing reception lady provided us with a stunning room, great views, complete with a bottle of cava and fruit. Outstanding service, outstanding hotel. 100% be visiting it again in the future. All round amazing!!!
Lovely location with wonderful views. The room was quite big, with balcony, very clean and wonderful comfy bed. In the hotel there is a gym, outside pool and loads of places to chill out and relax. We didn't try the catering or breakfast, so can't comment on those.
I think we may return.
This a small family run "pension" type hotel, close to the beach. It is friendly offers great value for money and the rooms are cool and quiet. When I asked if their are any other guests, I was informed that the Hotel was full! I never saw or heard anyone. Breakfast was simple and good
The hotel location was perfect, the staff were very helpful and friendly. Arrived at the hotel earlier than expected and was allowed to check in early which was a great help. All rooms have a sea and or pool view, the pool was clean and plenty of room to sit around.
The fact that the hotel was a bit outdated, was charming. Fantastic how plants covers the ceiling of the hallway. Good breakfast buffet.
Direct at the beach on one of the nicest small bays I have ever seen in Spain!
We would love to stay again.
Very clean couldn't fault it ,it was better than some 3 and 4 star hotel's I've stopped in.
The manager was very helpful nothing was too much trouble. Great location, it was a very pleasant stay. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place.
Express breakfast at 5 euros was good value.
The swimming pool was lovely and well maintained. The hotel was quiet and peaceful with lovely sea views from the generous balcony. Reception staff and maids were very friendly.
RIGHT on the beach — great old-school hotel, hasn't changed since the 1970s, and it's awesome; ample parking, great staff, amenities a bit dated, but if all you're doing is sleeping, it's ideal for a few days
Very clean and well maintained. The staff were always helpful if we needed them. The hotel was in a great position, being only a 3 minute walk from the port.
Continental breakfast was a nice addition.
It was end of season so the hotel was quiet which was rather nice to be able to enjoy the pool and breakfast in peace. The staff were friendly and looked after us well.
Lovely Family run hotel, rooms were spotless we would stay again.
Only drawback was restricted access at present due to roadworks but that was just an inconvenience
