The view and pool were beautiful. The bar staff was courteous. The hotel staff was apologetic, offered us a drink in the restaurant, called for/paid for a taxi to the new hotel. The hotel where we ended up was right on the beach and was very comfortable and clean.

Easy & SAFE walking distance to all restaurants, shops, beach, bars & some nightlife. It is slightly more expensive to eat on the beachfront, compared to some restaurants down the side roads. Plenty of choices. There was an AWESOME sushi buffet restaurant, called Yamasato, not too expensive & with a good variety of dishes besides sushi. Not all waitrons spoke English but there was 1. Downside of Castelldefels, easy access to Barcelona but an hour bus ride cost 5 EURO 1-way. It was cheaper to stay in this area compared to Barcelona

I had an incredibly disappointing experience at this hotel.
I had an incredibly disappointing experience at this hotel. When I arrived at 5:30 pm for check-in, the hotel was closed. I called the hotel and was met with aggression over the phone. When the staff finally arrived, I paid and was waiting for my room. During this time, another existing guest came in, and the staff member completely ignored me, leaving me hanging for several minutes while he chatted with the other guest. This lack of professionalism and respect was infuriating. To make matters worse, I was not given a receipt for my payment nor was I provided with the Wi-Fi password. I forgot to ask upon arrival, likely because I was intimidated by the staff's rude and unprofessional behavior. Later, I sent a WhatsApp message requesting the Wi-Fi password, but I never received a response until after I had already left the hotel the next morning. When I informed the hotel that I would write a review about their non-existent services and unprofessional conduct, they canceled my reservation without any valid reason, preventing me from leaving a review on their booking platform. Additionally, the room was nothing like the pictures on the booking site. It was a complete misrepresentation and added to the overall disappointment of my stay. Overall, my stay was ruined by the staff's aggressive, disrespectful, and unprofessional behavior, as well as the misleading room photos. I would strongly advise against staying at this hotel.

Such a beautiful place! If I could’ve stayed longer I would have. The beaches are beautiful. The restaurants are top quality. The castle is also worth a visit! Friendly people. we like to travel with public transportation and Castelldefels is very well connectec to Barcenlona with Renfe trains - once you find out which ones to use it is really comfortable and fast. We mostly stayed near the beachside, so we can only tell about places there. And it is nice and quite, great for having long walk along the beach.MartinGermany - 8.0Scored 8.0

The location may not be for those looking for a tourist area as this is a residential Spanish area away from the beach. The beach and town are 30 mins or so apart, but there is a regular bus service running each day. The town area is near the train station, consisting of one area in particular offering cafes and areas to sit out and relax in the day, or enjoy the Spanish family hustle and bustle after 9:30pm. There is a shopping mall 10mins away from the centre on the way to the beach and water park.

The long sandy beach is superb and the water is warm! This little town has a lot to offer/ good small bars and some great places to eat . Easy train travel to Barcelona although this time we stayed in the town. We were welcomed as tourists and we rate v highly the Gran Hotel Rey Don Jamie. A little out of town but secluded and perfect for us. Excellent breakfast . Rooms clean . Style is dated but did not bother us at all as we loved its rustic charm. The hotel had a lovely pool and bar area with really friendly staff. It was in a great location too - it was a 25 min walk to the beach, which was beautiful and not too busy with some great restaurants, and it was also 15 mins from Castelldelfells train station, which gets you into Barcelona in 30 mins. It is a good place to stay if you are arriving late to Barcelona - the airport is just a 10-min drive. The street is very quiet and beach is ca 10 min walk. Planes start flying over the hotel rather late - only after 7-8 am (and stop after 10-11 pm), plane noise does not affect sleep quality at all.
