The staff are absolutely amazing. It is like staying with good friends. They are obviously very happy working there and take pride in this beautiful hotel. They always take time for a chat. The hotel itself is very lovely. An amazing infinity pool with jacuzzi, everything spotlessly clean. There is also an open fire to sit comfortably around when the evenings get a bit chilly. The food was excellent. Nothing more you could need for the breakfast with friendly Sarah making sure you had everything you needed and even supplying extra cushions for me. Lunch also great and the evening meals were very very good, especially the barbecues of different cuts of meat and lovely fresh fish. Cannot fault it!

The breakfast was great and the staff very friendly and responsive. We liked the saunas, the massage, the pools (heated, but maybe not up to the advertised degrees). Spacious room. A nice gesture from the hotel was the bottle of cava they brought me on my birthday. Most of the evening shows were nice. The paella and sangria demonstration was cool.

The Unique side was very good, warmed pool. Location very good.
BUT we visited the hotel spa which was wonderful and really very nice ...unitil when we started to leave all my husbands belongings were taken from the locker- it just was empty, although we were almost the last very few guests there. The staff was not helpful at all and all of it was really very very strange. So it ruined our experience.

Absolutely beautiful dunes, water, mountain, views everywhere. Food at local restaurants great and reasonable prices. Getting around by bus to other towns is easy. The clientele was not exacatly what we expected, that is all I shall say.

Nice touristic town, with many options regarding hospitality, restaurants etc. the dunes was the highlight of the area, followed by the beach. The area is clean, full of palm trees, spacious roads, ideal for walks and runs. The sea is often windy/wavy and bit chilly so it might not be ideal for young kinds.

Very warm with fantastic sea/ocean for swimming.
Very warm with fantastic sea/ocean for swimming. Varied landscape of the shores while if you turn around you can be amazed by the great mountains. There is a special natural reserve at the south of Maspalomas, the Dunes, where you can feel if you would be in the driest desert really. At the Dunes although naked people appeared all the time coming out of the bushes, which makes that area not really safe for kids.

The Hotel was immaculate and the staff friendly.
The Hotel was immaculate and the staff friendly. The Unique Club experience was worth it. The breakfast was excellent. The half-board evening buffet was superb and not crowded in February. The evening entertainment was generally of a high standard.
The only negative aspects are included to provide a fair feedback.
The communication with the resort via Booking.com was difficult and uncertain so I had to telephone hotel twice to confirm requests had been arranged (eg taxi transfer). This may have been Booking.com process at fault rather than hotel.
The À la carte experience in La Toscana was rushed and overly efficient as pre dinner cocktails arrived with mains. Not worth the expense over the included half-board buffet.
There was no obvious information about any of the facilities or excursions made available to me throughout my stay. There was no mention of the restaurant options and cuisine available for each - I had to go to each to investigate. The casino was never mentioned and not sign-posted.
I realised there was an App I could have downloaded as I was leaving.
But I would definitely go back to the hotel as It was greta in every other way.

Location is key when deciding on a hotel or apartment so you can easily access shops and services especially if you don't have an all inclusive holiday. Also, if you don't have a free shuttle service, you can take the bus but the timetable seems erratic. A taxi 1 way about 45-50 euros.
I wanted to thank the hotel staff for all their sympathy, availability so that our stay would be perfect.
A special thanks to Maria at the reception, being a big reference for us. Thank you Maria for her smile in the morning, her sympathy, her availability and several tips to visit around Gran Canaria, she was a great value for us.
Its our 3th Time on this hotel, and we look for Maria every single time. Thank you so much for everything.
Hotel is great and we love it.

It is such an incredible treat to stay at Faro. The staff are incredible, welcoming, friendly, always going that extra mile! The rooms are beautiful, a little luxury and a touch of class! The location is perfect sea views for breakfast and dinner and right on the beach for sunrise walks along the magnificent Maspalomas beach! The food is exquisite, both on menu and buffet, i defy you not to enjoy! There is nothing that disappoints about staying in Faro
Peaceful, clean, friendly, lovely spa facilities, accessible. I really enjoyed my hot stone massage it was extremely relaxing. There was a shuttle to the beach, taxi costs about €4.70. Yoga was free, on 3 times a week, you just had to register. Bar made excellent club sandwich on gluten free bread for me and the tuna poke was delicious. We didn't eat dinner there but the Grand Italia on the beach front does gf pasta with very good food and service.
The buildings looked nice and were conveniently located around the large pool. The rooms were spacious. We really enjoyed the swimming pool. The beach was great, too, but we had to either pay for a taxi or take a free bus from the hotel to get there. The staff was nice and kind. There was some entertainment (songs and shows) on evenings.
Everything was great fir me nothing to complain itbwas my second time there and definitely won't be the last one for sure I was happy what we had all inclusive It's just perfect snack bar next to the pool fantastic not only burgers and etc but even salad and soups pasta whatever you want food in the restaurant perfect just perfect
Fantastic location. Design-led property which is a great alternative to 5 star chain hotels and beachfront apartments. Great outlook from upper rooms looking over to the beach. Very comfy beds , great shower room. Breakfast served on the roof terrace is a lovely experience. Ideal for a few days
The location of the hotel is good, being near the beach. The staff of the Kid's Club is very friendly and knows how to be with children. The pools had a good temperature and the area in general was comfortable. Having the possibility to take towels to the beach was very helpful for us.
Location is great - everything is minutes away: beach, nightlife, restaurants, bars… Tarik our host was very friendly, made you feel at home - he has great tips for around town too! He picked us up at the airport and made things way easier.
Nice territory with pool and grass. Free parking on the street nearby. Beautiful view to the dunes. Supermarket nearby, What's interesting - it was the first hotel in the area.
The personal is absolutely great.
Many restaurants with various food choices.
Large pools.
Dedicated hotel parking is great.
Many activities/music shows every day.
The hotel is super clean, super confortable.
The pools are great.
The breakfast and dinner buffets are amazing.
The staff is very polite, friendly and helpful.
Very good location close to Faro Maspalomas lighthouse, dunes, beach promenade, shops and places to eat / drink. Easy to get from airport using bus transfer.
Nice swimming pool, good beds, friendly staff, bus stop near by, shuttle bus to Maspalomas beach, good cleaning except the first day, shows during dinner.
Lovely hotel space with colourful houses and a great central swimming pool. Good location close to supermarkets and only 5 mins bus to Maspalomas beach
