Just a little too short for only one night haha I would need an extra night at least! an amazing hotel, with an excellent view of the Mont Blanc (specially from the jacuzzi). The room vas very comfortable, the shower excellent, the stuff was nice and helpful, the hotel provides you with a free card for the local bus (which we didn't use, because we had our car). The breakfast was really good, and love the common room. The parking is for free :)

We were in room 45, which we highly recommend. It's on the 3rd floor, corner room, overlooking the river. The room was clean and quiet (except for the river), and had a fantastic view. Staff is excellent and breakfast was very good.

It was a good time at Chamonix with a friendly staff. I arrived earlier (like 2 or 3 hours) and they gave me the room before the checkin time which was awesome. I also requested a charge becaause the one that I had was from Italy, not France, and they got one inmediately.

The weather was not ideal (it rained for the 2 days were were there). Nonetheless we thought Chamonix a charming town with out of this world mountain views. Our apartment was a great place to rest and chat in when we were not out and about in the valley.

Chamonix is a beautiful town with a pleasant atmosphere. We were here for the hockey tournament, but we also came to see Mont Blanc from the viewpoint on the A. du Midi. The views from there were breathtaking. We also saw the Mer de Glace glacier.

The month of May is not a good time to visit.
The month of May is not a good time to visit. The snow has gone but summer is not here yet. In this twilight zone between winter and summer it is just one of many tourist towns that is instantly forgettable. We regret we didn’t stay just across the border in Martigny which has so much culture that is completely lacking in Chamonix. The only visitors to this town seemed to be bucket-price tour groups from the far east.

I am slightly disabled in that my mobility is restricted by arthritis. Chamonix is a beautiful town in itself but it can be difficult to get around at night.I wanted to check out the live music scene but had real difficulty with transport.Although it is free,or cheap all day it is nearly impossible to get a taxi (unless I have been calling the wrong numbers!).I was told by some locals that they are tied up doing airport runs, how true this is I don't know. I think if you have similar problems then book a long time ahead or online.Otherwise the place is brilliant you have breathtaking views of the high mountains above, alpine meadows and a town that wants for nothing. It is easy to visit Les houches Argentiere and all the beautiful ski areas, even if you can't ski there are mountain railways and cable cars. Expensive but well with it. It is becoming my second home now.

A many time visitor, easy to get about on buses or train and some of the best off-piste there is anywhere. Looking forward to the re-opening of the top cable car so the biggest / best runs will be accessible once again. The location is perfect—steps away from the heart of the town or a short walk to mountain trails. Restaurants are as close as next door or all over the village.
We especially enjoyed the river out our door, fabulous mountain views and a garden courtyard to enjoy our coffee and croissants in the morning. Having a coffee and water machine available 24/7 was a nice plus. And our reception hostess (from Ireland) couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful!
While the facility isn’t a 4 or 5 star place, it’s a great place to stay!
The room was lovely, some lovely Alpine touches everywhere. The spa was also a really great addition - always clean and very helpful staff. The male English-speaking staff member at the spa was extremely helpful and very friendly - he really made our stay.
The view from our bedroom over the mountains were stunning, and the hotel was ideally located (1 minute from the centre of town). It was a perfect jumping off point for our mountain hikes and exploring Chamonix itself
The hotel was so cosy and has so many areas to relax that can’t be described or seen in a photo. The breakfast area, with such a great buffet and that view, almost made us not want to leave the hotel and see beautiful chamonix. Not to mention that we arrived tired at night and fell asleep and when we woke up in the morning I almost had a heart attack seeing the view from my window. We all fell in love with the hotel.
Loved that the hotel communicated with us various times before arriving and provided us helpful information, they recommended where to hire our ski equipment and also arranged 2 private ski lessons for us. The hotel itself had a homely feel, we had a lovely big one bedroom apartment with the most breathtaking view! Breakfast was nice and location ideal, just a 5 minute walk into the centre of Chamonix.
The hotel is in a great location, nestled close to the mountains and only a short walk from the center of town and the cable car to l'Aiguille du Midi. The train station is next door, and using the train to get around the valley is very convenient. We went at the end of July, and Chamonix is absolutely beautiful during the summer months. We all would return in a heartbeat.
It is a dream chalet for a snowy winter vacation with your partner. feels warm and homey.
the view from the site is stunning: deep in the woods with snow capped mountains around you.
not a very spacious chalet but you literally got everything there. we can cook us a dinner after ski
The price is way cheaper than many of the hotels in town.
The location of Les Gourmets was fantastic. Beautiful views from our balcony and just a short stroll to all the restaurants and shops in the heart of Chamonix.
The room was spacious and very comfortable.
The hotel staff were extremely helpful and very friendly.
The ski locker with boot heaters was very well equipped.
Hotel is located just 2 mins walk from cable car and 7-8 mins from city centre. Staff was very helpful. The ski pass is cheaper if you buy from the reception. The reception staff helped us to call few places and check if the activities are available. Hot tub was great. Good view of Mont Blanc from balcony.
Friendly and helpful stuff, perfect location
If you go to ski, ask reception the details first, they could provide you with different discount for equipment rent and ski passes.
Small hammam in the hotel, for 2 person maximum, but it is enough to relax your muscles after ski day.
Hotel was great. The service was very helpful and polite. It was quite. There is a big parking. Although it was further away from Chamonix you can get there fairly fast with a car. The breakfast was also good. It was very good value for money. I recommend it.
The most beautiful hotel I have ever been!! I must highlight amazing, always helpful and smiling staff. Its definetely better than stay in Chamonix. Great breakfast, dinner, hot wine, fireplace and stunning views!! ♥️♥️
Great staff, very friendly. Good brekkie. Very clean. Excellent value.
The manager and the staff were outstanding. Very accommodating and helpful.
The hotel is very clean.
I enjoyed my stay there..
The breakfast was nice.
The view from the room was amazing.
The staff were kind.
There is a ski rental shop in the hotel,
The bus station for the lifts and the city center are very close.
Everything. Location, staff, cleanliness, best breakfast of our journey 😉, parking available for the hotel guests. The room was spacious and comfortable.
We got a bus from Geneva airport to Chamonix and back. The hotel is only 10 minutes walk from the bus stop at the entrance to the restricted traffic area.
