I highly recommend this hotel for the comfort of the rooms, the amazing location, and amazing breakfast buffet!!!
And important to mention is the customer service here is a 10/10!
Plenty of restaurants and shopping just steps away!
There are 2 major design flaws in this hotel.
#1 The balconies all have partial views as the patios are all half covered with wood paneling, which blocks the beautiful views. Very disappointing.
#2 The entry of the room has no lighting, it is very dark at entrance. There is a full length mirror but it is useless since there is no lighting. When someone is using the restroom, you are unable do your makeup, or use this area at all because you cant see anything.

Chamonix is a great and beautiful place for outdoor activities. We were there for UTMB race. We had the best chicken biryani at Annapurna restaurant to name but one good restaurant there. But tourist must be careful of scammer like Grand Ferret apartment which took our payment but did not answer calls for us to collect the keys.

Love this town with its vibrant restaurants, cafes and bars. There is something for everyone from casual to more formal dining. But best of all, the spectacular running/hiking trails and the views from the high points are breathtaking.

Excellent place if you want a starting point for a very long hike into the absolute boonies of the Alps. We couldn't have been happier. Wonderful restaurants. No language issues at all. Mont Blanc is with you everywhere you walk in this town! Spectacular scenery. Good place for souveniers, according to my wife! You really cannot get lost, but we certainly tried! LOL. We arrive on the very day the UTMB began, so it was just a bit more crowded as we wanted it, but it was all over within a day, and we spotted many of the finishers walking around as if they'd been tortured (which they had)! We felt we were witnessing history with this 107KM run. It was magical!

We have visited many beautiful and amazing Alpine resorts...
We have visited many beautiful and amazing Alpine resorts and villages over the years but Chamonix is the best of all. It has the greatest variety of shops, bars and restaurants and there was a wonderful holiday vibe throughout the whole place. Young and older from all over the world mixing together with one common passion for the outdoors and the stunning mountain scenery.
We purchased a Mont Blanc Multipass which was fantastic value for 6 full days exploring the hiking trails via the many cable cars and chair lifts. Even the weather joined in the holiday vibe with 6 consecutive days of wall to wall sun. If you love the outdoors and the most stunning scenery, you cannot go wrong with a visit to Chamonix

The Hotel was quite convenient to the town centre, just a little bit inconvenient to the bus station (we arrived late at night and there are few if any taxis in Chamonix). Staff were very friendly and helpful. The accomodation was adequate, comfortable and quiet at night. The views from the balcony were fantastic, and the paragliders landing in the field at the front each day a wonderful bonus to watch!!
Lovely hotel with an excellent gin bar and beautiful views from the garden/terrace area. We were in a cheaper room so didn't have a lot of room, but it was tastefully decorated and had great storage options - the cupboards/wardrobes are very cleverly designed. Awesome downstairs decor and shared space for meeting people or chilling out / working.
Great place to start and end your TMB trail. Staff can store your luggage in the basement while you hike. Hotel is also right beside a major bus depot / stop, which can bring you to and from attractions. Friendly and helpful staff. Short walk away from Chamonix center, so not too noisy but still convenient.
This is an amazing old mountaineering / trekking hotel in on top of a ridge outside of Chamonix. It’s like stepping back in time! Charming staff. Delicious food and great bathrooms. Beds small but cosy! Highly rate it for active people.
