Have come here the past three years to compete in the Speed Climbing world cup. Chamonix is hands-down my favourite competition spot in the world. It feels very much like a holiday with some climbing thrown in for good measure. I have yet to go to a cafe or restaurant that didn't serve excellent food and drink (though Shouka is my favourite coffee spot) and the night life is good on the weekends if that is your vibe. Beautiful small town surrounded by mountains - you really can't go far wrong.

Chamonix in my opinion is absolutely gorgeous.
Chamonix in my opinion is absolutely gorgeous. We took the cable car up to the Aiguille du Midi and the scenery was breathtaking. I would have liked to have more time to take some hikes at the half way station.
The downtown area is lively with shops and restaurants.
I would go again to Chamonix no problem.

It's a small town but has a great tourist buzz. It's full of restaurants and diners eating on the terraces. There are incredible mountain views of the Alps surrounding the town. It's clean but expensive.

This hotel was a real find for us.
This hotel was a real find for us. Located right in the centre of the lovely town of Chamonix, the river Arve flows behind it and along its rear garden and dining room. We were welcomed by Ophélie with tea/coffee and home-made cakes, and shown to a lovely en-suite room overlooking the front of the hotel. The other receptionist we met was Anäix who was also lovely. I can’t recommend this hotel highly enough!

Loved the location, this is right in the middle of Chamonix. The information provided by the host was brilliant and they were flexible with arrival time which was excellent. The private parking was useful in the middle of busy Chamonix.
We used this as a stop over for 3 nights and spent most of our time away from the apartment, in particular within easy walking distance for station for Montenvers. Its small, but its cheap and the location couldn't be better
It is a dream chalet for a snowy winter vacation with your partner. feels warm and homey.
the view from the site is stunning: deep in the woods with snow capped mountains around you.
not a very spacious chalet but you literally got everything there. we can cook us a dinner after ski
The price is way cheaper than many of the hotels in town.
We booked the hotel for a week’s skiing in Chamonix, love this hotel for its great location, convenient facilities (great free spa) and nice room view. Breakfast is totally beyond my expectations, totally worth the money for it.
It’s our 4th visit, and it’s a great hotel, close to the lifts and all the amenities of chamonix, the apres in this hotel can be as heavy or as light as you require by simply moving to different parts of the hotel
Great hotel. Room was very spacious and well equipped. Breakfast good. Spa/ saunas are perfect after a days skiing. Central location which made getting around Chamonix to different areas easier.
