Just 2625 feet from Epernay city center, this hotel is just a 2-minute walk from to the Avenue de Champagne where the famous champagne houses such as Moët & Chandon, Mercier, Perrier-Jouët and De...

Location is excellent, at the beginning of Av. Champagne, walking distance to downtown, restaurants and the most famous cavas. All the staff is very competent, they know the region very well and they provided lots of great suggestions and information. The owners are very kind and they do their best to help their customers and make sure they have a very good stay. Parking lot ihas enough spots for all the customers. Rooms were impecable and very clean. Beds were very comfortable, breakfast was perfect for us, which is typical french style: included ham, cheese, yoguhrt, croissants, cereals, no warm food options . We would be happy to stay in this hotel again

Beautiful hotel tucked away between the vineyards, really gorgeous. We had a fabulous room junior suite with a balcony overlooking the vines, so peaceful. Really worth the money. Staff were so kind and helpful Marc was exceptional. Good breakfast in a lovely lounge.
Only disappointment was on Booking.com it shows that the hotel has a restaurant which is why I booked the hotel, but unfortunately they no longer have a restaurant.

Stayed a year ago and returned due to great service and room. Enjoyed having lunch by the pool this time. Love the dinning room and the décor throughout the hotel. Services is great and staff very helpful.

Beautiful boutique hotel- 4 rooms - not
Like a hotel- guests in your friends home. The owners could not be more delightful or accommodating. Usually usually stay at Crayères in Reims- wanted to do something different for the first two nights- loved being in downtown Epernay- can't say enough good things about this property or the owners. Oh, and loved having my own private sauna and whirlpool... a First for me in a hotel room. Amazing.

Very disappointing to visit at Easter - most of the champagne houses were closed and the good restaurants were all full. I have been before in the summer when its much better. I must recommend Kitsch Cafe - literally the best coffee I have tasted in France.

A lovely city with plenty to see and visit, lovely bars, restaurants and cafes. Of course the champagne tasting is a must and we found a town called Monthelon with wonderful tasting at a small champagne house called Denis Frezier. A must if you visit this area.

Epernay is an easy drive from Paris or take a train.
Epernay is an easy drive from Paris or take a train. There is a lot to see and do and beautiful countryside and small villages to explore if you are into food and wine it is a paradise but remember bookings are often required moths in advance for some tours. Be aware it does not target the budget traveller so be prepared. there are cheaper meal options and great shops with ready prepared french classics to re heat.
Overall a great place to Base yourself. We try and Stay at La Mignonette it is well located with parking and your own kitchen and laundry. it helped stretch the budget.

Amazing place if you love Champagne but also if you want to learn more. The newly opened museum is very useful to understand how nature and human genius created the Champagne success. People are generally very kind and smiling.
We had the pleasure to have a tasting in Champagne Michel Gonet which we suggest.
The only bad experience has been with the lousy service of the "Brasserie de la Banque". We booked a table 3 days before going there because of a special occasion and received the confirmation. We entered on the booked evening at 19.50 and at 20.28 no one came even to ask us if we wanted to drink something. We simply left and the old person at the entrance (who showed us the table 30 minutes before) even did not notice it . Fortunately there is the place "Brasserie Le Progres" in face of it. We have been happily there three times in three days

Our friends recommended we stay in Epernay rather than Reims and I am glad we did. Epernay and the main street which is world heritage listed is lovely to stroll up and down, and it's easy to pop into a champagne house for a quick drink. Make sure you book your Champagne House Tours months in advance as we left it late and missed a few of our favourites. We drove to Reims for Veuve, Pommery and Mumm and Moet and many others are in Epernay. Reims was about 30min drive and the champagne houses provide parking.

Compact town with excellent restaurants and everything you would want if you are an Oenophile with the emphasis on the Fizz!
If you are self catering they have a big SuperMarche on the outskirts and 2 Mini shops in the town.
Chez Max Restaurant is a must eat if you are in town
Also good Bus service if you do not have a car.. Easy to use and cheap
Laure is an excellent, friendly and very helpful host. I had an issue with my travel arrangements on arrival in France (even though I was staying elsewhere the first night!) and Laure helped me in so many ways to find trains and other arrangements. She was amazing.
When we arrived at her hotel, we found the room lovely and very spacious with the bonus of a sitting room to enjoy a welcome drink.
Both of us are gluten free and Laure met those needs perfectly with a delicious homemade breakfast each morning!
Comfortable, clean and warm. The room was basic but was more than adequate for an overnight. We also had dinner, which was a buffet for starter, cheese course and sweet with a choice of dishes for main course. It was good quality and great value for money.
The standout for the accommodation was the staff, all were friendly, welcoming and attentive without being intrusive, we have rarely found this in stopover hotels in France and this made this hotel stand out as one to go back to.
This property at the beginning of the Avenue de Champagne, perfect for champagne house tours and tastings. It is also very close to the beautiful downtown of Epernay and has a small balcony overlooking the lavish street. The property was clean and very well equipped. The hosts Celine and Arnaud were extremely helpful when my mother accidentally left some jewelry behind after our stay. Highly recommend staying here, very welcoming hosts and great stay!
A wonderful boutique hotel providing a quiet sanctuary away from the busy town of Epernay. The staff were incredibly helpful and pleasant; Odile rates a very special mention, nothing was too much trouble. Champagne tastings were provided to in house guests, breakfast was delicious and rooms were exceptionally well presented.
Thank you James, Odile and staff we hope to see you again on a future visit.
Located incredibly on the Avenue de Champagne, this hotel was perfect for a one night stopover as we worked our way down to the South of France.
Lovely staff, great parking and brilliant breakfast.
Would recommend for a quick Champagne stay as you can easily spend the afternoon strolling down the Avenue stopping at the various champagne houses.
Dog and baby friendly, they made us very welcome.
We love the Ibis group for their kid friendly hotels and have stayed in many on our trips to France in the past.
Whilst this one was in a great location, it did not come up to the standard of others we have visited. It felt like an office building and the bar area felt very cold and unwelcoming with ceiling tiles missing above the bar area and bare wires hanging out.
Everything. It´s was perfect in every detail, even to our critic eyes. Felt like we were the first guests to move in, extremely well equipped and furnished. Best of all the places we ´ve stayed in Epernay. Easy to communicate with the Host with fast answers. Very good information kit. Easy to find parking, free of charge, in the nearby streets.
Perfect location within walking distance of shops, restaurants and Avenue de Champagne. Lovely view of Épernay’s rooftops and the grapevine covered hills in the distance. Plenty of space for two…immediately felt like home. Clean and comfortable. Huge bathroom! All of the amenities you could need are provided, to include a washing machine.
We love the location and the beautiful amenities. It is well located in Epernay a short walk from everything. The kitchen has everything to serve a lovely brunch, and each room is beautifully appointed. Paula is so responsive and caring; we’ve had fantastic communication both times we’ve stayed and hope to be back!
La Cave de l'Avenue is perfectly located in the heart of the Boulevard de Champagne in Epernay. Our room was charming and comfortable. The breakfast was fresh, with delicious breads and an omelette on request. They also have an extensive wine/champagne bar and excellent tapas on the menu.
Nice atmosphere. Enjoyed the garden to relax and have a glass of epernay’s great champagne. Room overlooked the front of the building which was great. Welcoming staff did not understand English but we muddled thru it. French breakfast was good.
Very comfortable. Very clean. Room had nice amenities. Very convenient to center of Epernay. and Champagne Avenue. Breakfast was generous and tasty. We also enjoyed a gourmet dinner on their patio. Laure is an extremely gracious host!
Great place to stay on the edge of Epernay - about 25 min walk to the town centre. Hotel is really nicely furnished and has lovely outdoor space where you can sit and take in the evening sunshine. Breakfast was excellent too.
Such a well appointed Apart/Hotel with everything you could wish for in Epernay. The hospitality was truly welcoming and the lovely breakfast in the oasis of a garden was a delight. Hope to one day return for a longer stay.
Great basic hotel on outskirts of Epernay. Bed very comfy, hotel nice & quiet. Lots of parking on site too. Easy to check in and out. Plus as travelling with dog there is some grassy areas in car park too which was great
Every detail was attended to… from the welcome arrival with champagne to the beautiful rooms and fabulous breakfasts. This is a jewel in Epernay and within walking distance of many sites.
