Lovely hotel. Very comfortable and quiet. Host changed one of the rooms for us when he saw my father ( aged 93) might find the stairs difficult without being asked. Gave him a fabulous room on the ground floor. Much appreciated.
Breakfast great value too.

Arles was an accidental surprise! We went for a specific reason and stayed for pure enjoyment. The old town is very walkable and both historic and cute French, the Saturday market is ENORMOUS, LUMA was an unexpected joy (4 hours and we could go back), Van Gogh Foundation was great and I'm sure there is more to explore. We'll be back!

For me, Arles is one of the most interesting places to visit in France. With its 1st century Roman ruins, Van Gogh's history there as illustrated through many of his paintings, and the beautiful Carmargue horses and delta environment, there were so many wonderful things to do and explore. The highlight of my trip was at the Domaine de Mejanes restaurant where we magically enjoyed the music of two nephews from the internationally renowned band Gipsy Kings! As it turns out they are from Arles and the family performs often at restaurants in the area. We cant wait to return! One note - if you ride the horses in the Camargue area be sure to bring lots of mosquito repellant as the waterways are a natural environment for them.

It doesn’t get so many tourists but tourist traps abound. But if you look selectively for a good restaurant you will find several and we had four outstanding dinners. It’s small but cozy and clean with lots of cute squares for tea or a drink. Several good museums and roman monuments. Four days is not too long.

The Easter feria is a good time to visit Arles, although food and service can be as low as 'poor'. Plenty of culture from Roman ruins to street bands. Excellent and elegant Museum of Arles. Wonderful street market on Saturdays with high quality goods. Shops, ranging from very high end local produce and clothing, to convenience stores, most open all (public holiday) weekend.

Walking distance to most of the hot spots.
Walking distance to most of the hot spots. Very convenient tourist pass allowing access to most of the attractions. Good food and nice people. Good for families (we travelled with two kids). Highly recommended for a few-day stay.
The nicest hotel in our Provence trip. Just outside Arles, ideal to visit the city, the abbey of Mont Major and the Camargue. Very clean. Excellent staff. Very nice room with an outside terrace on which you could receive your breakfast. You also received some free drinks. The swimming pool is of a reasonable size with enough sun loungers for all the guests. Parking is available at no additional cost. Highly reccomended!
Hosts were extremely helpful and, knowledgeable. Excellent breakfast and an amazing location right in the old town in walking distance of all of Arles attractions. Very helpful getting the car into the VERY narrow streets to unload lugge and to find a parking space. B&B full of character in an excellent location. Very arty town. Hotel has some explicit paaintings. Good reccomendations for evening meals.
Convenient hotel, basic but clean rooms. We enjoyed the breakfast. The staff was very helpful and was kind enough to let us borrow two bikes to ride to the city center of Arles (the city is rather busy to ride a bike though). The hotel has its own parking and a garden. It's was funny to be greeted in the morning by a few chickens that walk around on the premises :-)
Location is great in the Old Town and everything is within easy walking distance. The apartment is spotlessly clean and has everything you'll need to feel like you're at home. Bedrooms are spacious and beds very comfortable. Communication with the host was smooth, check-in very easy. If you're going to Arles, this is the place to stay.
This is a family-owned hotel for nearly 100 years. It’s not the most modern- but it’s lovely, the staff is exceptionally helpful, they offer onsite parking which is unheard of, and the location in Arles literally cannot be beat! Wish the pool/terrace had been open but will have to come back in season!
This is a nice location in Arles. It was also a great home base from which we visited Nîmes and Avignon. They have a pretty garden, and the food was fresh and tasty. The breakfast, in particular, was great and included a good variety. The staff was a joy, friendly and helpful.
Very pleasant and calm, the hotel is located at 5km from Arles in a very large property that allows nice walks to discover several ponds, sculptures and extraordinary trees. The hotel is decorated with taste, keeping the South of France colours. Nice pool.
This hotel gives a great first impression with it beautiful decor. I felt like i was walking through a movie set from the early 20th century. The woman at reception was very nice, she a also made a good first impression. The room and bed were comfortable
Hotel de l'Anglais was our very favorite stay in a three week tour across southern France. Filipe and Pierrick went far beyond the standard of service we would have expected. The hotel is a beautiful renovation and infused with modern style and comfort.
The location of the hotel is excellent and if you did arrive by car the hotel offered support in accessing the restricted old town of Arles. It is a quaint old building with nice rooms. Staff very helpful in offering advice.
Eclectic hotel that felt like being in Nathalie’s home. Great variety for breakfast with lots of homemade items. Breakfast on the small patio made it easy to get to know the other guests and Nathalie.
The location of the hotel is incredible -- right next to the Arles market. It is extremely convenient to drive to but then also to walk to the city center. The breakfast is great.
Room was a good size. Location was also good and central. Staff at front desk was helpful. We did not eat breakfast at hotel as we are not big breakfast eaters.
Very well located, in the center of the beautiful neighborhood of ancient Arles, close to restaurants, bars, and more...
