Very hospitable host and hostess at hotel. In spite of my very poor French and their marginally better English, we managed to communicate and the hotel staff went out of their way to assist us, including contacting and driving us to the local garage when we had a tyre puncture.

As a small village it has many bars and restaurants with a supermarket as well as a baker, butchers, chemists and opticians. As a destination, its main feature is the Hotel de France where the Hotel has a wonderful racing history.

nice area but we had some issues with the room for our family. there were these bugs that came in from likely outside due to the heat and it really bothered us. the hotel restaurant was fully booked so instead of prioritizing guests they said they could only do room service with very limited menu options. overall this was overpriced for the area and what you got.
I visited on the Wednesday evening before the Le Mans Classic. This hotel is steeped in historical reference to the racing teams who stayed here in the 1950's onwards. Magical feel about the place, very small village French and so picturesque. Shops nearby for essentials. Busy restaurant but the food was great. Good selection of wines as well.
An overnight stay on a journey south from the UK. We have stayed here several times. Lovely hotel and staff. Vegetarian menu was not great though - well cooked, but a strange variation of a meat course. Put a little more thought into that aspect of the kitchen and this will be a 100/100 hotel for me.

The breakfast was just fine. The location was within easy walking distance of the little town centre with its collection of hotels , shops and restaurants. And our charming host was very helpful in locating our mislaid mobile phone for us!👌
Great hotel especially if you are into historic cars and Le Mans. If you are not then this is a great hotel with nice clean and stylish rooms, well appointed and comfortable.
great location as a base to explore out from and well placed for LeMans. as this is a small hotel you’re not fighting the crowds for attention. we come back again and again.
I love the fact that you have retained all that was good about the hotel before renovating and updating where necessary. It has great motoring history which is a delight
Very good breakfast and excellent dinner taken in the hotel. Great location in pretty town centre. The motor racing legacy with this hotel was very interesting.
