Proprietor did not provide key until 2330. He did not answer my call at 1930, and did not call back. I had not heard back from him by 2000. It was getting dark so I rented another room. He sent a text at 2130, after nightfall and after I had rented another room. I called again at 2300 and was told that there was a key in a lockbox. I returned to the location and followed his instruction but there was no key in the keybox.
He was good, though, at taking my money.

We stayed here to attend the Pause Guitarre Festival and we were really surprised on how beautiful is Albi. Honestly, I did not expect anything like what we saw in the last 3 days. The centre is lovely and full of independent shops, and restaurants and cafes'.

Albi is a photographer's dream. Photo ops at every corner.
Albi is a photographer's dream. Photo ops at every corner. The evening light on the old city from the other side of the Tarn is amazing. The Cathedrale of Ste. Cecile is stunning. The Toulouse-Lautrec museum is quite large & takes several hours to appreciate.

What a wonderful and beautiful city.
What a wonderful and beautiful city. Not only wonderful places to visit with fascinating history but just a wonderful environment to walk around. Some beautiful places along the river. Well worth a visit
A lovely little hotel in the heart of Albi - perfect for exploring this historic place. We were shown around the place and given lots of useful recommendations by the manager and that made our stay even more pleasant. The room was a bit on a small side but there was a great covered terrace which more than made up for it. The continental breakfast was amazing, with the local produce and even an old-fashioned orange press to make your own juice.
The hotel is ideally located in a quiet street, easily accessible by car and with its own (payable) car park to the rear. Our room had a view of the lovely garden. The hotel is family-owned and has been in the same family for generations. Caroline was extremely helpful with providing information about things to see in Albi. The pedestrianised old centre of Albi is a couple of minutes away.
La Maison de Julia provided a quiet getaway during a hectic sightseeing trip. It was so nice to take a break for a couple of days to just enjoy some poolside reading.
Best of all was the proprietor Pascale who helped us get to the hotel from the train station and mapped out the must-dos in Albi. She’s also a fantastic cook! Her homemade breakfast was by far the best we had on this trip.
Great location about 15 minutes walk from the centre of Albi. Absolutely immaculate and Annie the owner who lives next door was very welcoming. Everything had been modernised to a very high standard and good quality fittings. Plenty of space to eat outside. High quality shutters and mosquito screens. Loads of bedrooms and lots of space.
We loved the location of this apartment on the 6th floor of a 13th century building in the heart of medieval Albi. Spacious, extremely well-equipped kitchen, terrace looking out over the City. Magnificent views of the Cathedral. Ines was very helpful, with restaurant and other recommendations. Wished we could stay longer.
We needed a hotel room for one night to sleep and have breakfast the next day. Ibis was perfect for this. It was clean and 5 minutes walk to center of town.
Breakfast was very good. My two children (12 and 16 , both petite) fit comfortably in the beds with me. We had a standard room.
The couple who run this hotel are amazing! They work from 7am to 9pm. Always with a smile and efforts to make your stay as great as possible. I love that they have comfy communal spaces both indoors and out. We loved that this is not a cookie cutter place .
A pretty confortable appartment in a quiet neighbourhood of Albi. Nice size and well equipped. A considerable terrace as well with a garden downstairs. Good value for the money. If it happens to be in Albi it is a good choice definetely.
Amazingly cool apartment in the perfect location. The host was the most friendly person I've met in my entire year living in France! The apartment has all the amenities that you could need and is super tidy. Couldn't recommend enough!
Plenty of space, very peaceful on the outskirts of Albi. Good breakfast and our hosts were very accommodating. Jacques even booked a restaurant for us on the first night . Five minutes drive into the centre or thirty minutes walk.
The view from the room is exceptional : directly onto Albi's cathedral. The room is spacious, comfortable and tidy : more than enough for one to two people. The hosts are available and have good conversation in French only.
We liked the location, just a short walk to the center of Albi. It was clean, quiet, comfortable. We liked the outdoor terrace and landscaping.
We liked that there was a kettle to make tea.
a stunning property located in the heart of Albi. Decor and attention to detail was superb. Staff, especially the font of of house were extremely helpful, polite and humorous.
The room was tiny and clean. Excelent location. Very good breakfast. Property offered a "bonus" for the parking facilities located just in front of the hotel.
The view from our corner room was just fantastic, probably the best in Albi. Their parking lot was in front of the hotel and even had a bit of shadowy spot.
