Proprietor did not provide key until 2330. He did not answer my call at 1930, and did not call back. I had not heard back from him by 2000. It was getting dark so I rented another room. He sent a text at 2130, after nightfall and after I had rented another room. I called again at 2300 and was told that there was a key in a lockbox. Beautiful old city with a wonderful history.
Beautiful old city with a wonderful history. Spectacular cathedral, well preserved old architecture. Exceptional restaurants and bars with great service, can't recommend Le Vent des Anges highly enough. I wish we could have stayed longer.

We stayed here to attend the Pause Guitarre Festival and we were really surprised on how beautiful is Albi. Honestly, I did not expect anything like what we saw in the last 3 days. The centre is lovely and full of independent shops, and restaurants and cafes'. we had lunch in a very nice seafood restaurant near the cathedral, fabulous!! Toulouse Lautrec museum is amazing. surely i want to come back to see more.

Albi is a photographer's dream. Photo ops at every corner. The evening light on the old city from the other side of the Tarn is amazing. The Cathedrale of Ste. Cecile is stunning. The Toulouse-Lautrec museum is quite large & takes several hours to appreciate.

Albi is a fascinating town with a great history. The covered market is outstanding, with fabulous shops and places of interest to visit. There are a number of small villages nearby which are interesting as well as the Toulouse-La Trec exhibition. The church is really interesting inside and worth a visit. Elodie very kindly picked us up from the train station and helped us carry our bags up to the top floor.
