All was well except for whatever had to do with service and dinner + breakfast. Breakfast was a disaster. No more food, no personnel to ask to, everyone complaining but close to no reaction. Dinner : main course was cold and we waited for so much time before we could it. I would not recommend this place. Personnel is lacking and is not acting as they should.

We love St Germain-en-Laye with its history, chateau, market place, good shops and restaurants. The beautiful park with its views across to Paris and its flowery gardens which are beautiful in the Spring through Autumn. It is easy to stroll around and admire the buildings. The Musee Maurice Denis, in a former priory, is a short walk from the town centre and well worth a visit.
We had dinner at Chez Lulu in Rue St Pierre and enjoyed a really good meal in a very pleasant ambiance. The service was attentive.
Coffee is very expensive in the town!
We hope to return.

Saint-Germaint-en-Laye is great town to visit for a day or two. As well as the upmarket feel of numerous clothes shops, high quality patisseries and chocolatiers, the highlight is the Le Notre Terrace next to the chateau, with magnificent views of Paris in the distance. Worth going on a market day in the centre. The RER station is next to the Chateau and a 4 minute walk to the Centre.

It is a beautiful little town with a grand chateau featuring a semi-formal garden for a stroll and distant views of the Paris skyline. Delightful shops. Fast trains to Paris and a wonderful market on Friday mornings (and Tuesdays too I think?).

I loved in the Marais in Paris for 15 years and never once visited this beautiful city. After eight years in London I’m returning to France and couldn’t be more pleased to discover Saint Germain en Laye.

The place is steeped in history however,I think you should seriously review the hotel that I stayed in pavilion Henry1V it is not up to standard, and should be avoided at all cost until they sort themselves out.
It is trading on past reputation trying to renovate and asking for top prices asking €390 inclusive of breakfast for my room was ridiculous there are better hotels in the area one of which I stayed in which was superb in the forest and that was €180.
The only thing going for this hotel is its view and it is trading on past glory to be fair I should demand a refund maybe you will be able to tell me how I do that

Staying at this hotel made my little holiday in St Germain even better. The hotel is about a 20-minute walk from the RER A station, but very close to the railway station in the town. Nearby, you can find a good variety of restaurants and brasseries but you are very welcome to have snacks and breakfast at the hotel. Breakfast is excellent! It's a buffet that accommodates both sweet and savoury tastes and has a good variety of fruit juices and jams.
The staff is very kind and contributed to a very relaxing two days in St. Germain.
Everything was fantastic! This is an amazing place to stay privately or for work travel. Fanxi is wonderful and the whole house including rooms, hallways, dining room, pool and everything about this unique Villa including the owner is just amazing! We love the atmosphere, the color, the warmth and the hospitality!!! Worth coming to even if you are touring Paris. It is worth the time to come out to Saint Germain en Laye which is also a wonderfuly city.
Located in the very center of the town.
From there you can do everything by walk (also if you go to Paris downtown by metro).
Easy access to Paris but also bars and restaurants in Saint Germain en Laye.
Bakery & shops just around the corner
Nice, small appartment for 4 people max.
Comfortable & large sofa-bed and a laundry machine.
Covered parking nearby (not even 50 m walk, 24h parking =approx 25 eur, possibility to get a long term pak ticket.
Based on the price, I was very nervous about the quality of the room…i was blown away. First the staff was amazing. I had issues with my knee and they took my bags upstairs and wouldn’t accept a tip…so very helpful. The facility was clean, updated and beyond comfortable…much better than the room I had in Paris the week before that was 10x’s more. While there are not a lot of choices in SGaL, don’t worry as this hotel has it all.
The rooms are quite functional but there's everything you need and everything works well. Excellent shower, comfortable bed and sufficient space. Good secure car parking too. Very helpful and polite staff.
It's only a short walk to the train station and there's an excellent 30 minute ride into the heart of Paris for only €5.
Saint Germain En Laye is a delight - lots of small independent artisanal shops with elegant architecture.
Finding this superb accommodation in the centre of this fabulous historic town was a real bonus. Stretch your neck from the front window, and you have a clear view of the chateau. The apartment is modern, clean, very well furnished and equipped, and very light. We appreciated the little welcome touches. We did enjoy ourselves and look forward to coming back (which says a lot).
Very clean, fully equipped, good quality linens. Only a 15 minute walk to the train station, the location is great for getting directly into Paris on the RER. The town of Saint Germain en Laye is nice too. We had a very enjoyable stay and highly recommend this place.
Communication with the owner is great, they really go above and beyond to help out and make recommendations.
The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The room was spacious and spotless and the beds wonderfully comfortable. The location was ideal for us as we were there to visit family and friends. The tramway is on your doorstep and takes you directly to the centre of St. Germain where you can get the RER to Paris.
The location is very good, with a supermarket and grocery stores nearby. Located in the city centre we also found restaurants and bars within walking distance. The apartment is small, but cozy, the bed was comfortable and it has everything needed for cooking breakfast. Perfect for a couple.
We had a pleasant stay at this hotel. It was remarkably quiet, providing a peaceful environment for a good night's rest. The breakfast was satisfactory with a decent variety of options. My room was clean and well-maintained. Overall, it was a very good experience!
Convenient location to centre ville with a beautiful view of the Seine and Paris. A hearty breakfast of cheeses, charcuteries, and eggs/bacon or sausage, and of course, wonderful pastries. Given the choice, this is the only place to stay in St Germain en Laye.
The hotel is in a great location with a huge park close by. It was easy to get around the city. We either took the bus, tram or RER all within a short walk from the hotel.
About 400m from a metro into Paris. Saint Germain en Laye is a charming town and this apartment is right across from parking (30 euro per day) and the town market.
