The staff is terrific and provided much needed guidance on local options such as the télépherique and local communes. I did not take breakfast but it looked good. They have coffee and tea available at all hours, very nice.

It’s location was ideal - close to the railway station and bus station. We were especially grateful to be able to store a bag at the hotel while we went on a walking tour of the Ecrins.

In May, Grenoble is extraordinarily beautiful with its natural surroundings. (However, since it's a transitional season form spring to summer, the weather in a day is unstable.) The view of the cityscape from the Bastille and the surrounding three mountain ranges is magnificent and inspiring. This city offers ample opportunities for citizens and tourists alike to engage with culture and art. Several museums in the city offer free admission, with exhibits that are impressively comprehensive. The city is served by trams, making transportation very convenient. The tram stations are wheelchair accessible, ensuring easy mobility for disabled tourists as well.

Lots of people regard Grenoble as a transit point - en route to other places such as ski-resorts. To me the town had an industrial feel to it as a result. It was very clean, no graffiti to speak of, and had some lovely free green spaces to sit in the park. Sadly the weather was not good enough when I was there - but I walked through them!

We personally found it unwelcoming and horrible.
We personally found it unwelcoming and horrible. We found that people were nasty to us as soon as we said we couldn’t speak much French. We also ended up eating in our hotel room every night because how the locals would treat us. Wasn’t a good trip for us personally. If you speak a good amount of French then I’m sure you’d enjoy this trip.

Where are the street lights?
Where are the street lights?
Walking back to the hotel around 9 p.m. after dinner was a bit hazardous. So many people on scooters whizzing past at speed, many dresssed in black, no lights on the vehicle and no lights to see them coming.
Where were the hot springs. Closed at the weekend

Great base to explore the local nature hikes in warmer months. If you plan ahead several of these are accessible by public transport. Also, if you like art (even a little bit) the Musee de Grenoble's permanent collection is amazing and free to visit.

Disapointing experience due to the city environment, streets are globaly dirty, walls full of grafitis and many shops are damaged (after recent riots). Even some caves of the Bastille are covered with grafs! The city seems to be abandoned and really unsafe, what a pity when you look at the moutains all around and the potential of this location 😞
This cute little apartment is well located with easy access (trams or walking) to the centre. It is in a quiet residential area, and has everything you need for a short stay. The facilities were excellent. Arranging access was efficient and straightforward. The hosts were friendly, and very reassuring. They checked in with me to make sure everything was fine. I'd recommend the place, and would happily book it again myself. Grenoble is gorgeous, and this apartment provides a wonderful way to experience it.
We love the food and drinks provided free of charge in the Club Room.. fresh juice, cakes, nuts, fruit, coffee, hot chocolate etc. also when ordering alcohol u get free nibbles.. We love the huge club room.. my husband was able to work and talk freely on his business calls.. Love our view from our room of the Fort de La Bastille 😍 lovely big shower head and fresh linens, modern industrial style room! Great air conditioning that actually works!! Thanks Okko! 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
Good value budget hotel. Safe parking behind closed gates. Fairly close to town centre via just 4 stops on the tram from the E line Terminus to 'Alsace Lorraine' stop (town centre, shops and many restaurants). Also easy access to motorway. Staff were helpful and cheerful and breakfast was great. Comfortable bed and pillow. Nice hot shower. Downstairs reception, breakfast and bar area is very nice, clean, trendy and welcoming.
The room was very big and the bed was very comfortable. It was a quiet street, so we could leave the window open during the night, which was nice. Dominique was very friendly and helpful and she made us a delicious breakfast with selfmade yoghurt, fruit, different cheeses, bread and strawberry tarts. Her home was 10 min walk from the centre and we could park our car in the street in front of her house.
This was a self catering stay and it had reasonble pots pans cook top etc. We were able to park in the street rather than utilise the pre-arranged parking site that was a short walk away. With the weather being hot this site was uncomfortable as it had no airconditioning and the only window opened onto the street. Access to the town centre and supermarkets, bakery etc was a short walk away.
I liked the photos of the property on booking.com, but this wasn’t really the reality. The accommodation was equipped to enable you to stay for a few days. It had a coffee machine and kettle but fairly basic equipment otherwise it had mismatch in mugs for example. It was close to the centre of town and a car park was literally around the corner.
Good location, good equipment available, very clean apartment. Enough space on the upper floor. Parking place available, bakeries and some restaurants in the neighbourhood. One can walk to the city centre. Good for 2 adults + baby. We were 2 adults and 2 children, so we had to use the sleeping sofa on the lower floor.
Excellent hotel staff- very friendly, helpful and eager to be at best for guest service. The location is central: everything you need is there or a tram ride away. The room was an upgrade- comfortable, new, nice touches in the bathroom, living room, comfortable bed. Room service is quick.
Very pretty apartment ideally located in Grenoble, along the tram line and walking distance from city centre and attractions (including cafés, shops and restaurants). Homey feeling, decorated with taste. The kitchen is great, the bed very comfortable.
Location is good, few metres away from tram stop or 20 mins walk from centre. Flat is spacious and very equiped with all kitchen essentials, big tv and a/c. Host is very kind and helpful. The reserved parking [7 Euro p/night] is very comfortable.
Location of the hotel was great as it's less than 5 minute walk from the Grenoble train station. The room was nice, clean and quiet. Room and bathroom all have new and updated look. Great value for staying at this hotel.
Reasonably good location, not far from the centre of the city and in a quiet area.
Clean, good size clean rooms.
Friendly and professional staff, thank you!
Good breakfast.
Plenty of parking, including underground.
The staff was really kind and friendly. The breakfast was really good and totally worthed 10euros. Although a tram passed right in front of the hotel, the room was very well soundproofed.
A big big bravo for the bed, one of the most comfortable I've ever experienced in any hotel !
The staff, all of them, were very efficient, always smiling and eager to help.
