Really nice rooms with lots of lovely little touches, umbrella, shoe horn, clothes brush. mini fridge in room, with chocolate, water and fizzy drinks to purchase.
Good tea and coffee making facilities.
Lovely bathroom, with bath robe. I was only there one night, would love to have stayed longer

No breakfast offered in this location but complimentary breakfast cereal bars and tea bags etc provided.
Lovely beamed decent sized room, self controlled heating/Aircon unit, comfortable bed, good bathroom (extractor fan broken).
Food in restaurant/pub very good, large variety - reasonable price for the quality and quantity but not cheap. Plenty of garden seating.
Location very close to town and river walk.
I would recommend this Inn.

There was nothing to like, I wasn't given the password, I arrived and stayed outside for more than half an hour, he asked me for my Edi as soon as I gave him my Ed, he saw that I was Brazilian, he already said that I I couldn't receive men and he didn't even know if I was going to receive people, what was I doing in the city? He didn't give me the password. I climbed more than six stairs with my suitcases when I got there, my knee was injured. I asked him to cancel it. He didn't cancel and never gave me the password, so like losing, I lost my money,

Love the pub and it’s fantastic to have rooms behind. Lovely food and great beer in Essex’s best pub
Chelmsford has good shops and restaurants. When we travel down by train we have easy access around places using the bus service. Train and bus stations or taxis are easy to get to. One of our favorite places to eat was the indian restaurant in Moulsham street.

Chelmsford is a lovely, friendly city with a great atmosphere. Shopping is a dream here and the old buildings in it give it character and charm. It is also clean and tidy. Can't wait to go back. Public transport is very good.

Great fun for the hen do!
Great fun for the hen do! The best taxi firm in Essex we found, after a lot of hassle from others, was ‘Your Cabbie’. Graham was our driver and was our knight in shining taxi! 01245 354040, highly recommend!

Having lived in Chelmsford since 1960 i have seen lots of changes, i have now moved away but still go back to visit family, it is a lovely town with lots of nice shops and plenty of places to eat. There is a Cathedral in the centre of town which is worth going to see.Not much more to say except that it is a good place to visit if you are in nearby Colchester and the coastal towns of Clacton Walton and Frinton.
This property is beautifully located by the River Chelmer in an upmarket development a few minutes walk just outside of Chelmsford city centre. The apartment is in a brand new development with modern furnishings, comfortable beds and sofa. Everything was exquisitely clean with adequate toilet roll etc. The host was very helpful and approachable and a pleasure to deal with. All pictures matched the apartment and was not dated or innacurate. Highly recommended!
Cannot fault the hotel although we only stayed one night as we were in Chelmsford for a funeral, the hotel was perfect close to the city. We often visit Braintree which requires an overnight stop in a Premier Inn (convenient to our friend who lives nearby.) In our future visits we think it will be worthwhile traveling extra distance to Ivy Hills Hotel for its extra excellent comfort and lovely breakfast which we thoroughly enjoyed.
my stay at Luxurious 2 Bedroom Apartment with Free Parking was nothing short of outstanding. Immaculate cleanliness, exceptional comfort, warm hosting, and an excellent location. I wholeheartedly recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for a delightful and hassle-free stay in Chelmsford. I will certainly be returning on my next visit to the area.
This was a superb find , great communication from the owners , super location for where I needed to be . Very spacious well furnished and comfortable apartment , the complimentary breakfast items were a really kind touch and much appreciated .Cannot recommend highly enough for anyone visiting Chelmsford
It’s brilliant, lovely old village pub and garden with an interesting history and friendly staff. Laid back atmosphere, modern room with all mod cons in separate extension. All situated in rolling Essex fields within easy reach of Chelmsford. Recommend the eggs Benedict for breakfast.
Brandon was great to communicate with before and during our stay. He was extremely accommodating and supported our check in and check out requests. Place was tidy, nice and quiet tucked in a lovely area of the street. Thank you for a great weekend in Chelmsford!
Good hotel with nice room. big bathroom and comfortable bed. Dined in the restaurant. It was quiet but the food was excellent. Would book restaurant again if in Chelmsford.
Lovely house in gorgeous location. Good transport links to Chelmsford, and plentiful parking at the property.
The breakfast was tasty, with quality ingredients.
Really good location. A really different way to stay overnight, rather than a hotel room. The boat had everything you needed.
Will definitely booking again.
