During my recent stay at the hotel, I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The room was not only spotlessly clean but also well-maintained, making for a comfortable and relaxing environment. Additionally, all the facilities I needed were readily available, which added to the overall convenience of my stay.

The room was modern, comfy and bright with a large bathroom and outside seating area situated to the rear. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was very spacious, as it seemed to be designed for assisted living.

Lovely quiet location overlooking the water. Well equipped. Helpful and responsive owner.
On average, 3-star hotels in Deal cost US$107 per night, and 4-star hotels in Deal are US$79 per night. If you're looking for something really special, a 5-star hotel in Deal can on average be found for US$124 per night (based on Booking.com prices).
Deal is a charming, slightly decrepit town. It has some beautiful old lanes and houses. Very historic. Huge beach. Lots of coffee shops. Lots of individual interesting shops but needs investment to come to life. Shops and bars are mostly only open Thursday to Sunday. It has an abandoned feeling during the week. We really loved the fish and chips! There’s an amazing fish monger close to the town hall. It’s got a lot going for it but it’s not Salcombe or Southwold! It’s easy to get there on the train from St. Pancras station in central London. There are many holiday cottages. We saw people swimming in the sea in the morning. Cycling along the shore is popular and you can go for miles. There are things to do there. It’s got great possibilities. We really liked it.

I loved the people in this place so helpful and friendly, Recommend two cafes for a fantastic breakfast, The Kings Coffee and The Hog and Bean.
There are lots of charity shops and quirky shops to look around and a very popular bakery. On a Saturday there is a market. There is also a castle but unfortunately we didn't get round to visiting.

Very pretty seaside town; easy to explore on foot.
Very pretty seaside town; easy to explore on foot. Lots of independent shops, but there are two big supermarkets too. Lots of cafes! Interesting history very well described on clear tourist information boards along the seafront. Beware midweek in low season as most of the museums and both the castles are only open at weekends. That said, the coastal path is delightful and I spent my time (two weekdays in November) happily walking by the sea even though the attractions weren't open. Excellent public library with good local history section too.

We felt safe walking around at night it was lovely and peaceful. Nearly forgot there’s a big church which does a lovely breakfast and looks like lovely food also for lunch and there’s a little club or pub sitting on the side of it looks like they’ve made good use of a What looks like a church and a market on a Saturday to walk around.
The Old Rectory is a magnificent property which is situated just outside Deal. It is in a very good location for travelling around the Kent countryside and coastal areas and provided us with an excellent base from which to explore the area. We were made very welcome by our host, Helga, who showed us to our fabulous room with its own access in the grounds. A fabulous freshly cooked breakfast was provided, together with assorted fruit and cereal options, and nothing seemed too much trouble for our very pleasant host.
Fantastic location and not the first time we've stayed at Dunkerley's - we love the restaurant and bar and fact it's right on the seafront. Really enjoyed our full English breakfast there, was cooked and presented really nicely and was good produce too. The room was a nice size and immaculately clean. Deal as a town is fantastic too - lots of lovely bars, pubs and restaurants, the local market on a Saturday is a must-visit too and it's a great base for exploring other parts of Kent in a close proximity.
We had a wonderful stay at Jonan House. The room was exceptionally well equipped and clean, with great facilities. Location was perfect for us; lovely and quiet but within easy reach of everything Deal has to offer. Howard was the perfect host and we really enjoyed meeting him and chatting over breakfast. Breakfast was beautifully cooked and we particularly liked the homemade bread and jams. We would love to return next time we come to Deal and would recommend Jonan House to anyone.
Hotel rang 4 days before stay to inform me that there was live music until 2am. By then it was too late to find another hotel. Wow was it loud ! The room shook ! Plus noise from people laughing and shouting

Great location for a getaway by the coast or to stay locally to Dover. It was definitely good value for money in comparison to the surrounding areas and ideal for one night. The breakfast included was pleasant enough and staff were friendly.
The hotel was conveniently located. Staff was friendly and helpful. The cooked breakfast was excellent. The room was clean and comfortable. The evening bar with the "honor system" was excellent with a good variety of drink available.
We liked the atmosphere of the hotel come Pub, our room looked over the sea, the hotel is a beautiful and well kept location everyone who passes or drinks on the open roadside tables takes photos it is ideal.
The rooms are spacious, we arrived late after being stuck in traffic and the staff were very friendly and welcoming.
We stayed so we were close to Dover port and this hotel was perfect for our needs.
Location was convenient to Deal, and golf courses we played. Excellent food and bar. Rooms upstairs were spacious and quiet. We had rental car and had plenty of parking available.
The Hotel room was quirky With so much character. Room was clean spacious bright and airyEven had a coffee machine!! Hotel is bang in the middle of all the Cafes shops ideal location
Loved the location. My husband ad I walked along the water for a long way in the late evening. Hotel has great curb appeal with the beautiful flowers and outdoor tables
Great location, minutes from the beach & 10 mins to the centre of deal. Deal is a great location to tour the Kent coast & far more genteel than the likes of Broadstairs.
