The breakfast was very good, just a bit difficult to find. The room was ok. It was clean but the two individual bed matresses were really bad, you could feel all the springs. Our double bed was very comfortable. Hot water was not working in either both of the rooms.

Although it is a small village there are 3 dog friendly cafes to choose from. I would recommend The Barn which has a garden nursery, gift shop, ice cream parlour and restaurant. There are also plenty of walks nearby and it is not far to the lovely town of Garstang.

The ploughman's platter was delicious and just what we needed after a long journey. The breakfast is excellent. Scorton itself is a lovely little village, and looked extra nice at Christmas. The walk around the churches was peaceful and scenic even after dark and during the daytime the local amenities are on your doorstep. The location is also great as it's so close to the motorway. The room was clean and fresh with complementary bottled water, tea and coffee etc. Breakfast was fresh local produce, cooked nicely and very tasty. Orange juice, tea and coffee available throughout breakfast. Well looked after by the lovely Rachel, nothing too much trouble for her - thank you. Plenty of free private car parking to the rear of the hotel and strong wi-fi during our stay.

The apartments were amazing, very comfortable, modern and clean, they catered for all our needs. We came prepared but there was a spar shop opposite the hotel if you needed anything. The staff were very friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was amazing. All my family enjoyed the comfort and facilities.. I would highly recommend this hotel.
