Room dated. Shower pressure was terrible. Stains on carpet & hairs in bathroom. Movie we purchased kept cutting out
Really dated facilities. Hard work flushing the loo! Stains in bath/shower curtain, stains on bathroom wall. Facilities can be dated but there's no excuse in a hotel to be that dirty. Carpets looked mingling too. Limited plug points. Waited absolutely ages to get through to Room Service. Sharon - London
Staff on the front desk were very friendly and polite. Check in process was swift. Location brilliant. Plenty of parking. Room was fine. Gym is ok for a hotel fitness centre.
Bed's are not that comfortable and you could hear some road noise. Bathroom was clean but tired. Food in the bar was adequate at best.
Staff very helpful & also was welcomed with a glass of wine
The greeting at the front desk. Very pleasant staff
Leaving.Wished I could stay longer but needs must
Staff member who cheerfully brought new batteries for the TV remote to my room.
Staff who provide a level of service on the value of your clothes and luggage ...
stayed here for a night with my boyfriend, staff were really lovely, room was clean and comfy, perfect location. had a really enjoyable time and will definitely be back!
Clean, value for money, fantastic food and warm hospitality
Having to check out :)
Bit expensive for what it is no different than premier inn and there half the price won't stay again unless premier inn is fully booked thanks
Very pleasant stay
Room and bathroom were cold Woken up a couple of times by late night drinkers
Food I had to send my 1st meal back. 2nd Meal I was a wet cod and chips. 3rd meal was meant to be a rack of ribs but was a rack of fat. My room was not serviced on my last night,
No biscuits with tea and coffee facilities. Found a lot of dust and bathroom had no shower mat. Bathroom door needs replacing looks awful.
location, pricing, staff, room all good.
Whilst it was good to have a coffee shop, pricing was a little steep
The pool was great
The temperature in our room was far too hot and despite turning it down as far as possible and opening the window it was difficult to sleep as the duvet was also too warm. It would be far better to keep the rooms cooler than waste so much energy keeping the room at 25 degrees which is highly unnecessary.
Mostly good as usual
My colleague and I arrived back at 11.20pm after a 'tricky' customer dinner and wanted a nightcap to unwind before heading to our rooms - there was nobody behind the bar so eventually we went to reception to see if the bar was open and the gentlemen replied "I'm not sure" . After another few minutes hanging around we gave up . The receptionist shrugged and smiled as we walked past !
Staff all round really nice and professional!
Breakfast dry and not fresh! Bacon especially hard to even chew!
warm friendly welcome with complimentary wine on arrival and fruit or choc on the morning for leaving. the rooms were good quality and comfortable, restaurant staff and food was also good.
nothing we didnt like
Staff were rude and unhelpful. Made you feel uneasy. Location was exaggerated upon when i booked and ended up paying more for taxis as i thought it would be walking distance, like advertised.
Well positioned, moments away from J28 M25. 5 minute drive to Brentwood. Room and bathroom cleaned to a good standard. Reception staff very friendly and helpful. Wi-Fi service good. Plenty of car parking. Decent gym.
Bar food was pretty average and over priced. You could hear some road noise in bed. Beds not as comfortable as Premier Inn.
Hotel is good staff were helpful and friendly. I appreciate the gym.
i don't appreciate paying for wi fi nowadays. I've joined the holiday inn frequent user club which I understand can provide it free but the hotel is behind the times for this.
Some of the happiest staff I have ever encountered
Breakfast was excellent, and staff very friendly. Manager responded well when problems discussed
Very poor evening meal, noisy room, uncomfortable bed.
Bed was neither soft or firm, just bendy.
Helpful staff, convent location.
Noisy Xmas party had taken over the ground floor.
The staff were all very helpful and accommodating. Position of hotel excellent for motorway links.
