The apartments looked NOTHING like the photos. It has a 4 star rating. It is probably a 2 maximum.
The room is so hot and very small. No air circulation eventhough we opened the window but still hot. Anyway, the location is good but I won't go back there again.
Close to the centre, good connections, small but nice room.
The room was great: big, clean, spacious and tasteful. Excellent place for couple or family. Thank you.
I did not like that room was in lower part (floor -1) of the hotel- the only negative thing about this room.
Location convenience price for money size of rooms
No wifi in Rooms Small bathroom Too inpersonal in service, decor, not very homey With a little effort a free wifi in rooms would get a 4,5 star valuation
Location cleanliness and kitchen facilities. Proximity to tube, pub and café all within 100m
Bed slightly hard and a little small
The proximity of tube, buses and busy bayswater road with lots of shops and restaurants is a big plus. The studio we stayed in was really tiny, but came with a fully occupied kitchen so we could prepare a hearty diner by our selves. The studio was nicely furnished, including the ironing board and an iron, the bathroom contained toiletries… The staff was nice, the check-in and checkout was easy. All in all, a nice stay.
We did miss a cutting board, a good quality kitchen knife and a better frying pan. Cooking would be soooo much easier with all these amenities. The room was very hot and we couldn’t cool it down not even with opening the windows in the middle of the cold night. The coffee machine in the lobby isn’t working properly - all we’ve got was some sweet hot water…
Really good hotel good staff
For other attractions other than winter wonderland location isn't great but otherwise good
Local is wonderfull. Apartments are quite good, space, cleanness, appliances, crew team are very compreensive and proactive.
The room size is nice and the location is perfect!
The apartments were very noisy - we were put in the basement and the walls were quite thin.
Close to tube station Staff fixed fault with shower raiser as soon as we mentioned it. Shower pressure was very good and very hot water. Fridge in room which was handy for storing water.
Far too hot in room, mid December even with bedroom and bathroom radiators turned off. Kept fan on both nights as impossible to sleep in heat without. One pillow but I managed to get a 2nd, duvet & pillows very old and grubby under the covers. No tea, coffee ect which was a shame. Not the luxury apartment that we were expecting. Would only stay there again if we got a substantial reduction.
Staff were very helpful and the apartment was clean and functional. Booked one of the lower grades.so facilities were basic.
We were in the basement and it poured with rain - heard the dripping water very loudly! Other than that we had a fab time and have booked again for next year.
The location Reception
The first thing we smelt in our room was cigarettes, there was a breeze coming from the window area although window was closed. Loud music was played outside at night as well as the smell of weed and the heating was uncontrollable and over heated. The cleaners were very rude!
The club double room was significantly smaller in comparison to the online pictures. The small room was not value for money for £120 for a night.
GOOD LOCATION NICE ROOM
A LITTLE TOO HOT
The location of the apartments is quite good: it's a bit far away, in the very end of the Hyde park (20-25 minutes walk from the Marble Arch), but it's right next to 2 central tube stations and a bus stop. Our room was small but contained everything necessary: electric cattle, toaster, mini-fridge, closet, TV (though showing only 4 channels), plates and glasses, some toiletries. The room was nicely heated as well. There are plenty of restaurants, souvenir shops and mini-markets in the area.
The hotel informed us that in case we pay with a credit card they would charge us extra 6 pounds (8 euro) for the bank service. We agreed because couldn't pay in cash. But the final amount taken from our card was 20 euros. It's not a lot of money, but it's unpleasant and they should warn about this during reservation. Another problem we had was that the smoke-detector in our room would set off just with toast-making or boiling water in the kettle, so we'd had to direct a fan towards the toaster to prevent this extremely loud and annoying noise. And one more thing: we didn't expect a room-service since it was an apartment style but still... they didn't take out the garbage even once for the three days we stayed there.
Basement rooms, no light No wifi in basement room Rooms very small
Clean. Check-in and out were easy. I am familiar with London and knew my way around thus cannot say I am a tourist who needs direction. Bed is a double. Comfortable for one adult and a young child. Two adults may be slightly tight. Toilet is clean. Room is not too hot and heating was not even turned on. In general I will say its good. Will stay there a night again but won't be if I need a few nights in London. Plenty to choose from when eating out and good choice of supermarkets for those who prefers to cook.
You can hear everything outside the room. Luckily its not overly noisy. People staying on the same floor as me seems to be relatively considerate. Limited kitchen facilities but not an issue for me as I was there one night and have no intention to cook.
Next to hostels. Young people drinking outside until 10 pm
great location to Hyde Park and underground. All of the essentials
only 1 pillow each basic
Being surrounded by hostels. Sick on the stairs outside. A iron which was broken. The most uncomfortable bed... Do i need to go on?
Would be great if we could change sheets and towels for long stays at the apartment...
Location, comfy bed, new bathroom, friendly staff
Laundry bags left in the hallways, next to a hostel so would be intimidating for someone to walk by on their own
Good kitchen facilities.
There were unpleasant stains on the bed sheets. Also the room did not look anything like the photos on the website. If we'd have known what the room actually looked like, we would not have stayed here.
Not a huge thing but no soap or bathroom toiletries in the room!
