The room was lovely and big, we all slept soundly.
I was disgusted with the bath and shower, it was that dirty I couldn't use it, paying 75.00 for one night, I at least expect to have a clean shower. Not happy at all with that
There was a smell as we walked in the corridor where the room was located (113) The rooms decor was tatty and there was some evidence of decorating ( filler on the walls) the telly was smaller than the pictures led us to beleive . The bathroom was disgusting it had mould on the walls and the taps (both bath and basin) looked awful. The carpet was stained. This was supposed to be the executive suite !
The rooms are very large and spacious, with comfortable beds. The bathrooms are decent size with plenty of hot water on tap. Felt very safe for a solo female traveller.
The wifi isn't that great. Breakfast could come as standard with the price of a room.
Clean and tidy, if a bit dated.
Room was a bit dated.
It's not as bad as some reviews are saying It was a big room for £65 for just I night it was ok
Don't expect the ritz. Hotel is not the cleanest
Room could of done with a new lick of paint work
Our stay was very comfortable, we were not bothered by any staff, but made to feel welcome on arrival. We had control over the heating of the room, and the facilities were adequate. Lovely full warm bath.
We didn't ask for a quiet room, but we didn't realise people were above us, children were running around above but stopped at about 9.45 pm. Didn't spoil our stay.
Wonderful family room. Good indoor play facilities. Lovely breakfast, great waiting staff
Only soap in the bathroom. No shampoo or shower creme.
The staff were very helpful and the fact that it had a Restaurant pub attached was great
The rooms are a little dated now,and need updating, there was a stale smell in the hall way which could be improved just by letting air flow though now and again.
Shower and bath were nice, sofa area was cool
Not enough English breakfast tea bags, neither of us slept well because the bed was so uncomfortable. And we were promised extra pillow and more milk to our room which never came
I payed that amout of money I would at least breakfast for s child to be included in the price
When i booked i told then that i will be there between 12h to 1pm but i arrived at 2h30 the room wasn't ready, then i left at 3pm still not ready and come back at 8pm. We got access late and we have to live hearly at 11am.it's not fair
The price is fair for a pleasant and clean room for a night's stay.
The door automatically locks after 11am (we were just arriving back from breakfast 10mins late) so had to go all the way down to reception to get them to activate the card again which was annoying. Speaking of breakfast, it finished at 10.30 which I thought was a bit early for a Sunday morning.
Very Comfy, Clean Bed Big Room with double and two single beds for kids.
The bathroom was very tired, needs the grout cleaned and in general state of dis-repair. Nothing majorly wrong just dont look too close.
Big room. staff great.
Breakfast. Could half been more of a selection. Talking to other guest.who all felt the same
IN MORNING DISCOVERD MAINS CONECTOR TO HEATED TOWEL RAIL WAS HELD ON WITH TAPE! .... TOUCHED IT AND IT FELL OFF EXPOSING LIVE WIRES!!!!!! GOT MONEY BACK I AM TAKING IT FURTHER.
location good staff friendly & helpful
need for some redecoration curtains between bedroom area & lounge area wold be good
The 'Golden Years' menu. Just the right portions of food at a very reasonable price for an ;oldie' like me!
The location was good and if you're a travelling away football supporter then use this hotel.
The fact that you have to pay on booking and not as a flexible saver rate. Apart from that, the hotel is value for money
Ideal location, just off M27. Plenty of parking. Good welcome.
Bed uncomfortable. Decor a bit jaded.
I liked that we didn't have staff knocking and rushing us out of our room like previous hotels.
I didn't like the location as when we arrived in our room we could hear loud music coming from a party which was slightly frustrating as we were tired and just wanted to sleep.
Unclean. Very dirty and rooms in need of repair and decoration. Holes in walls and torn wallpaper as well as a dirty bathroom.
Great location. Staff were really friendly and accommodating. Very pleased with the whole stay and great value for money.
People in next room slamming doors smoking and shouting and staff did nothing
