Between Bronte Country and the Yorkshire Dales, Leeds is a stately city with a wealth of impressive Georgian and Victorian buildings. The most celebrated is the town hall, a Grade I-listed gem with a huge clock tower supported by columns. Just around the corner is the understated Leeds Cathedral, and between the two is Millennium Square, a large urban space that plays host to outdoor concerts and a German Christmas market.
Shopping in Leeds is fantastic. Kirkgate Market is Europe’s largest covered market, and the magnificent, round Corn Exchange is home to exclusive boutiques. The city also has the first Harvey Nichols outside of London, as well as the usual high street brands.
As home to 2 large universities, Leeds has a young and vibrant vibe. It has repeatedly been voted the clubbing capital of the UK and is home to the Leeds Festival, an annual music event that attracts thousands.
The city also has excellent sporting pedigree. Internationals are held at Headingley cricket ground, and Leeds United FC and the Leeds Rhinos rugby league team are well-known names in their fields.
On the outskirts of the city are wonderful Roundhay Park, Kirkstall Abbey and Leeds-Bradford International Airport. Leeds accommodation on Booking.com covers all areas of this elegant city.

Leeds is a vibrant, multi-cultural town with lots to do, good transport and a variety of interesting restaurants and shops. There are art house cinemas, theatres, concert venues and sporting events.
My favourite restaurants were Mommy Thai and Gino D’Acampo. Used a variety of buses and Ubers. Great choice of food from Deliveroo too, coffee & brunch at Laynes. Also loved the Everyman Leeds cinema for live streaming, comfy settees & food at your seat.
Weekends are rammed with hen & bachelor parties. Quite a few homeless people & beggars on the streets.

The room was 28.5 degrees, putting the AC on made it hotter still, there were no fans left. Lasted until 4am, drenched and thirsty went to reception at 4am and got the windows unlocked, which only made a slight difference as it was overlooking internal courtyard. Payed for 2 rooms, friends had same problem. There was a known problem with air on, so why weren’t all the windows open beforehand for comfort. It was our wedding anniversary. It was the most unbearable experience, we would have had a better nights sleep rough sleeping. Feel quite annoyed at paying £305 for having to sleep in a sauna.

Leeds is beautiful and the centre is compact and walkable.
Leeds is beautiful and the centre is compact and walkable. Impossible to drive in. Public transport no good for tourists. To get to the royal armouries museum you need a taxi and they will get lost. The leeds museum is excellent but the art gallery is appalling. They keep all their assets in store and refuse to exhibit them. Hardly anything to see there. Arcades are beautiful.

we went to a show at the first direct arena the hotel was not too far to walk and near enough to find somewhere to eat - pushing a wheelchair was a little harder in some places as the paving is cracked and we could not always get the wheels over them - plus a few bars had outside seating and with people standing around the door ways we could not get through a few of them. around work leaving time everyone was in a hurry and pushed by us - so for older people in wheelchairs not very impressed but for younger people nice - lots of beggers around the area (near 1st direct arena)
when we got to the arena the staff were great so many of them helping people to get inside - wheelchair users went in a different door and staff were even in the lift to help people get to the floor - impressed with the arena

Great venue at First Direct Arena, 10 minutes walk from city centre. Trinity Markets and huge shopping mall have wide choice of food & drink, plenty of cafes & restaurants around the centre. Plenty of retail therapy available, if that's needed!
With museums and art galleries there is something for everyone in & around Leeds - it's a very lively city!
This is a decent hotel and good value for money. It is an easy walk into the city centre and there is a bus stop around the corner. The room is clean and has USB plugs and regular plugs. The only downside was the lack of AC which I would have expected in such a large hotel chain, but the weather had cooled off by the time I arrived so it wasn't an issue. The staff are very helpful and friendly. I would stay again if I am in Leeds.
Quiet hotel and RC retreat, education and conference facility set in private grounds between Leeds City Centre and Headingly. Very good location, free parking, clean and peaceful, with friendly and helpful staff.
Great cooked breakfast included in the price. Single room was a good size and the en-suite shower room was large.
Use of bar and common room with free tea and coffee was included. Good value for money.
The property is in the heart of Leeds city centre and would be the most ideal hotel to be in if you’re visiting Leeds. Trinity shopping centre was literally across the road from it, barely a one minute walk. The hotel was very clean and comfortable for my elderly father. The staff were the most lovely people and very very helpful. 10/10
It's handy for Leeds city centre if you have a reason to visit there, but not much else. Hard to find anything good to say really. Room was fine but rather small....bed ok...breakfast was fine. Good that the hotel was only a short walk to the Fazenda restaurant, which is highly recommended.
Hotel was very clean & modern. The staff were very nice, especially the breakfast staff. Breakfast was plentyful and good choices available.
Decent size room & nice views from the 10th floor, which is only half way up the building. Great location for exploring Leeds City Centre.
Very comfortable, great location for Leeds city centre, friendly staff. Room fairly basic but very clean and quiet. Breakfast buffet was good and varied. Perfect for a graduation family stay. Would definitely use the hotel again for a Leeds weekend break.
Had its own character & charm, because it wasn't modern and bland ... like many hotels and hotel rooms can be. Room service was good - and chicken green Thai curry was excellent. Great location, in the heart of Leeds City Centre.
The hotel was very close to the train station which is why I chose it. I had never been to Leeds before and didnt want to walk through the city centre late at might with my Grandson
