Lovely modern property beautifully decorated and very comfortable- bed was great. It was in a quiet residential location so I had a wonderfully peaceful stay. Host Mel was very warm and welcoming.

Lovely comfortable bed that didn’t move around all over the place like many hotel beds seem to do. There was even a pillow menu so there’s no way you wouldn’t be comfy. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Chairs and desks were available, bathroom was large and fully stocked with toiletries, plenty of hot water. Room service was exceptional, especially the chicken wings. Large TV which was lovely. Extremely good location for the airport. Extremely quiet and soundproof, we couldn’t hear a peep from other rooms. Cute chocolates on arrival. Plenty of places to charge mobile phones etc. Mini fridge and kettle with hot drinks provided including galaxy hot chocolates which were lovely.

The communication between the me and the host was very good. Mel was responsive and any questions I had, prior to arrival, were answered quickly. On arrival I was able to park in the driveway as previously arranged. Mel greeted me in a friendly and welcoming manner at the door and showed me to the room, which was clean, tidy, light and airy, tastefully decorated and had all the items that were mentioned on the initial booking of this room. The ensuite shower room was nice and clean too, something that is my bug-bear (if not cleaned properly) whenever I have stayed in places before. Awful and nothing like the rooms that are advertised, absolutely disgraceful to advertise a certain standard then offer the awful dated dirty rooms as per my photos attached.booked on booking.com and filtered hotels with a spa, upon arrival I was told the spa was shut! If I was made aware of wedding function before I booked i would have chosen a different date due to unable to use bar facility also wasn't aware of any facilities in the hotel or spa also on entering the facility partner fell on wet stepping area which no front of desk employees showed no concern what so everMichael - 10Scored 10

Everything overall was amazing ok the beds were annoying we had to remove all plastic sheets as they made noise and woke you up in the night the caravan apart from this was spot on and i would recommend staying at this property and we will be returning the on site indoor swimming pool was good warm and fun apart from the slide which needs reporting as it is dangerous each of the kids sustained rib and leg injuries due to the sharp bend as you come off it. I used the room for a business trip, however I had the opportunity to walk around the local area. Pex Hill is only about 200 yards from the property and is recommended! It does state that the property is in Rainhill, but it’s actually in Cronton which is next to Rainhill . The room was spotlessly clean and the host was a pleasure to deal with- nothing was too much trouble. We were told breakfast was from 08.30 so we declined as we had an appointment elsewhere at 09.00 however when leaving the hotel at 08.20 we seen a waitress carry a tray with 3 breakfast’s upstairs. Shabby hotel, the photos are exceptionally misleading, our room was decorated like a fish tank and you had to kneel on the bed to use an ironing board because there was no floor space! Our king room was 2 singles pushed together with poor quality bedding.
