Bar meals were very nice and good value especially their pie dishes and desserts which were all home made. Good size car park. Room 19 was nicely decorated with good size bathroom but cleanliness could be improved. Leaded light windows did not shut securely. |

The staff that worked there were very helpfull, but the service was not very good when they were not around. The room was not cleaned while we were there and the hotel could do with a good clean through. |

Very pleasant interior. Room was very comfortable. We had a very nice dinner in the restaurant but at breakfast they had run out of mushrooms. All staff were very helpfull and very friendly The toilet in our room was not very nice. It needed a good scrub with some bleach. The toilet roll was three quarters empty. The following morning we asked for another one. The member of staff was very nice and said that she would arrange for the cleaning staff to supply one. But that did not happen unil mid day. Meanwhile we had to buy one from the shop opposite. |

The place has great potential but seems 'tired' and nobody seems particularly motivated The restaurant does not open until Thursday each week so I had to walk a mile to the next village to get dinner |

Very friendly staff. Good food at the restaurant, very affordable prices at the bar. Wiring in the bathroom not finished, when I moved the bedside table I found the floor hadn't been cleaned for ages. |

ample on-site parking, pleasant location, style and character of the building, pleasant staff no permanent receptionist (had to go look for someone to get checked in) - no room phone (again had to go find someone to resolve room tv issue) |

The food was very good quality and the hotel was quiet at night time. It would have been useful to have had it explained fully that although the restuarant was closed Sunday evening bar snacks were available |

It's in a nice and quiet village, not far from the Herstmonceaux Castle and Science Centre so there's easy access to those. Not far from the seaside if you fancy a trip. Very friedndly staff. Comfortable bed. Clean bathroom. The room itself wasn't very clean. There was dust almost everywhere and mould on windowsill. The TV had no remote. |

Looks stunning when approaching on an evening Hardly any staff around. No-one on reception when checking out, no choice for breakfast and it seemed the Chef was the only member of staff available. |

The Inn had a pleasant feel to it and everyone was friendly and relaxed. It was good for walking in the Herstmonceux castle area. The executive room provided was not as pictured or described on the website. The restaraunt did not have any healthy options or variety of choice on any of its menus. |

excellent service at breakfast, and food was lovely. family room was spacious and very tidy. last time we stayed the rooms looked a bit scruffy but i believe the hotel has new owners now and this time the rooms were very well kept. when we woke up in the morning both our rooms were very cold. i tried to turn the radiators on but they seemed to be off at the mains. i appreciate having the radiators off saves energy when the rooms are unoccupied, but i think you should give guests the option of having heating as it is still quite chilly in early april! this is the only thing that could be improved. |

The Staff were all pleasant and helpful, some went out of their way to ensure our satisfaction and comfort. The bar meals were very good value; the breakfast was ample and quick. The local shop very handy for buying a newspaper. Premises ideal location for expoloring area. Online booking was accurate, no problems at all. The road was very noisy at peak times; some guests left early so there was also noise from their car engines . Another time, I would request a room towards back of the hotel, not near to the front, overlooking car park. However, would not have been as noisy had I left the room window closed. |

A farmhouse from 1652 forms the main building of Boship Farm Hotel. It is set in beautiful grounds with an all-weather tennis court and heated outdoor pool (May to September). |
The Brickwall Hotel stands overlooking the village green in the pretty East Sussex village of Sedlescombe. |
An attractive late Victorian town house with sea views, just steps from Eastbourne's beautiful seafront and the town centre. |
