They were very accommodating and let us pick up the key to the room early and let us change our clothes for the wedding we really appreciated that. The breakfast was great and they were very friendly staff

Everything was catered for, including lovely spa wash soaps and hand cream. Shampoo, conditioner and shower gel provided which is so helpful! We also found a phone charger, Film DVDs reading books, magazines etc. Property was clean and decorated to a high standard. Bed comfy and heating worked really well. Rainfall shower as well as hand held shower - all worked well, great pressure and lovely and warm. Even the fridge was stocked with milk and butter to go with the tea & coffee provided and bread with yummy jam/marmalade/honey. Wonderful friendly host too, thank you Georgie! The area is perfect for discovering The Malvern Hills and beautiful countryside here. Close also to Ledbury 5 min drive.

I was brought up in Ledbury so I love it. Things have changed. No Mr |Lewia the Butcher, no Miss Smith the sweet shop, no Woolworths,no Jack Oaks, the the town itself has changed very little and I still love it.

The Feathers is sited on the main street which for me was perfect as everything i wanted was in walking distance, other pubs, cafe's, retaurants, all are easy to find, the place itself is professionally mangaged and all staff members were friendly and approachable. I have stayed in many hotels over the years but this one is right up there with the best, i will certainly be back there in the future.

We did not go into Ledbury to walk around, we stayed outside Ledbury for the Malvern Hills walks. The Larches is a great location to stay if you are planning to walk in the Malvern Hills. We stayed there for the Herefordshire Walking Festival walks. We had plenty of picnic food with us, which we could eat on the terrace or in the visitors lounge. The visitors lounge had the added bonus of a fridge so we could put our sausage rolls, scotch eggs etc in there overnight.
Beautiful hotel, exceptionally well maintained and quirky. Room was a reasonable size, bed was very comfortable and bathroom was lovely (very clean). There was only one towel in the bathroom so I called down to Reception and within minutes, another towel was brought up. We ordered room service and our food arrived within 25 minutes and piping hot. The food that we had (both evening meal and breakfast) was exceptional. Staff were all busy but very helpful and polite.
The hotel is in lovely surroundings with stunning views across to the Malvern hills. We had a spacious room on the top floor with a modern bathroom and walk in shower. Decor was really nice. Slept well, bed very comfy and the room was quiet. Breakfast was fantastic, great choice. Staff were excellent, friendly and helpful. We loved the free gifts of Kombucha in the room. Would recommend a stay here, is good value for what you get.
A quiet place located in the heart of the countryside. Our hosts were wonderful and made us (and our dog) very welcome. The accommodation is exceptional, spotlessly clean and supplied everything we needed. Having our breakfast and dinner on the balcony with beautiful views of the countryside was a lovely treat. We highly recommend the Motor House and would definitely stay here again if we come back to this area.
Very old, very interesting characterful building right in the middle of Ledbury. Pleasant pub bar with cosy open fire. 16th century wood panelled dining room for dinner and breakfast. Good dinner. Particularly good breakfast. Bedroom fine with tea/coffee making and biscuits and hot chocolate sachets supplied. Complimentary toiletries in bathroom. Very clean. Staff very friendly and efficient.
Enjoyed the breakfasts, the free use of the Spa facilities: jacuzzi, sauna, pool. Room was spacious and clean, possible to bring car near to room to unload and then park back in main car park. Only about 10 minutes to Ledbury for evening meals. Talbot looked after us for this trip, we used the Prince of Wales on our previous trip, both able to deal with food allergies.
Great quiet location, parking right outside property and within walking distance of the pretty town of Ledbury. Helpful advice from Rick and Biddy on local places to visit. Plenty of choice for breakfast with delicious hot options cooked to order. If you're looking for a beautiful place to stay with a warm friendly welcome, look no further!
Comfortable, spacious, well-appointed room with its own terrace and lovely views of the surrounding countryside. Hotel levels of luxury in a friendly local pub, with helpful staff who pre-booked our table in their popular restaurant for dinner. Excellent breakfast included. Convenient location for Ledbury and surrounding area.
I don't write many reviews but the staff, all of them, were truly outstanding. Accomodations and food were excellent, mattress could've been better but we had a long stay but that's about the only negative and wasn't an issue until the end of the week. Very convenient to the town and other close by areas.
This is more an up market pub than posh country house hotel. The menu is less a restaurant menu and more a pub menu with a strong emphasis on meat. That said we ate well both nights. The staff were young and friendly and helpful. The hotel has a nice relaxed feel to it.
Pauline was very helpful and cheerful! Very clean room. Option of 2 singles or a double bed. Very comfortable. Great breakfast of course! We could come and go as we wanted, as we had a house key. Pub within very close walking distance and only a few miles to Ledbury.
We had a very warm welcome at this small country hotel. Despite the heat, we slept well. The breakfast was excellent. The recommendations for finding a restaurant in Ledbury for an evening meal were welcome.
Excellent fixtures and fittings, superb location, amenable hosts and extremely comfy beds. It was very easy to find and had plenty of parking. Our stay was relaxed and peaceful and was a real pleasure.
I stayed in the "box" room. Literally a converted loft area with a hatch as a door. If you are not nimble / flexible, then access to this room my be difficult. However, very comfortable, amazing value!
