There is absolutely nothing to NOT like here! The clean, comfortable chalets are all equipped with everything you'll need and more, including complimentary pastries, tea, coffee, and milk. Location is quiet and tranquil offering style and comfort with beautiful scenery and surroundings. Staff are friendly and professional, and the self check in service makes your stay even more 'personal' than your bog standard chain hotels and B&Bs.
Highly recommended and perfect for solo travellers, couples, and small families.
Sollihull has a lot to offer in things to do. The local National Institute (Baddesley Clinton) has 2 places to visit in a short driving distance with plenty of walking around the properties. There are restaurants within walking and short driving distances as well as grocery stores.

Didn't really see the place.
Didn't really see the place. We were there for an exhibition nearby. There are planty of good restuarants nearby. Just as well because the Regency Hotel restuarant was expensive and not very good.

Solihull is one of the better areas of the West Midlands and offers a pleasant stay and local amenities. Parking in central Birmingham is not easy but a local bus (Route 6) stops right outside the hotel and runs 8 times an hour weekdays, 6 on Saturday's and 4 on Sunday's. In the other direction this runs through to Solihull.
This city of Birmingham has lots to see and plenty of shops including the Bull Ring for those looking for a bit of retail therapy.

The hotel is in Knowle, on the outskirts of Solihull. Lots of great restaurants within a few minutes walk. Fantastic Artisan
Bakery for sandwiches and deli items. Very convenient to get to NEC. Good walks down the Grand Union Canal.

Charged more money than when we booked through booking.com paid for 3 rooms and all on different floors. Said we had to pay extra for breakfast and charged us £155 a family room which wasn’t a family room no child bed was made up. Room full of marks on walls and ceiling. Ask to speak to manager and no manager was working on Saturday ! Really disappointed with village hotels we expected it to be as good as the Elstree one couldn’t be so different.

Solihull is a nice place but I would advise anyone going with a party of 3, booking for 3 ADULTS and expecting 2 bedrooms should ring up and check to make sure it's for 3 adults and 2 bedrooms.
The Limes is set in a rural location. Conveniently located for Solihull and Birmingham, the M42 is a short drive away. The hotel itself is nicely set out. The staff were friendly and helpful. The grounds are well cared for, I spent half an hour after breakfast watching the fountain, whilst cool jazz was playing through an outside garden speaker. My room was clean, the bathroom likewise. The bed was comfortable. The restaurant / Bistro bar has a nice menu selection. The food was plentiful, nicely cooked, and well presented.
The house was beautifully decorated, with a nicely appointed large kitchen/dining area. Four of the five bedrooms were large with comfortable, king-sized beds. The fifth bedroom had a nice twin-sized bed. All the bedrooms had wall-mounted TVs with Netflix. The full bathrooms were modern and big with excellent showers. The huge backyard and private driveway were a plus. We had one minor issue which the owner, Raj, attended to personally within a few minutes, after hours on a Friday night. She even brought over dessert :)
Can't believe the price for what you get. Would much prefer this property over the hotels. It was spacious, comfortable and had a lovely coffee station! I only spent a short time in the room as was using it as a base whilst attending a concert but wish I stayed longer! Will definitely be using this property again if I'm in the area.
Lovely clean rooms, modern, tastefully decorated, full facilities, excellent buffet breakfast. Nice restaurant & bar areas. USB charging sockets on each mains socket. Great central location for Solihull town centre, short walk to the shops etc. I'd requested a room with a shower/bath and the hotel messaged back and arranged this.
Brilliant location, just over the road from Solihull town centre. Very spacious apartment with handy parking area in the basement. The apartment was very clean apart from the sofa. Well laid out kitchen, dining area and lounge.
Coventry Homes was easy to contact and the staff were friendly and helpful.
The room felt new and modern - I particularly like that they have usb sockets which make charging so much easier. They are having a bit of work on the hotel exterior now but we cannot hear any noises from our room. We like that breakfast included hot food that you can order and parking is free : )
Located in beautiful, peaceful location. Perfect for unwinding from a long day after exhibiting at the NEC. The room was located in an annex at the back of the main hotel. All the staff were very friendly and attentive. I would stay here again if working in the Solihull area.
Crowne Plaza asked me for details of my disability and needs in the event of a fire. I welcomed this detail as I had only been asked this once previously. It is normally me informing the hotel, etc and many not really interested.
The staff, food and room were all very good.
Staff and facilities were fantastic so was our room. Allowed us to check-in earlier so we could change and freshen up after our long journey. Would recommend and definitely use this hotel on our next visit to Solihull.
I had to present at an online event in the evening so was worried about the Wi-FI but it was excellent, no problems at all. Most comfortable bed I have slept in when staying in a hotel. Great blackout curtains.
Great size clean room, comfortable bed, pristine bathroom and large door to a hotel terrace. Pool, steam room, jacuzzi and changing rooms were clean and regularly checked. Front desk staff polite.
So much space and really comfy beds. Staying with a work colleague so 2 bathrooms was great. 20 minute walk into Solihull centre. Parking space was a bonus rather than parking on the street.
Friendly welcome - good parking - clean unfussy room with neat bathroom - warm and comfortable.
Good location ( and value for money) for NEC and surrounding area. Excellent breakfast.
