Located within 21 acres of beautiful Warwickshire countryside, Stratford Manor Hotel is just a 5-minute drive from Stratford-upon-Avon. The 4-star hotel has a leisure centre. We enjoyed the complete chaos as we are fans of faulty towers. Apparently the hotel was struck by lightning a week earlier knocking off the utilities and several staff left suddenly. We gave this property excellent purely based on the free entertainment (the chaos) and a free bottle of wine from a nice manager after we had a Caesar salad without any dressing and vinegar served in a milk jug and no continental breakfast available.

The open top bus tour was interesting & a good way to 'get a feel for Stratford'. The two visits to the Theatre (RSC) were fantastic. Shakespeare at its best. Lots of really good places to eat. The giggling Squid Thai restaurant was great.
Well visiting the theatre is highly recommended, we went to see wars of the roses, even if you don't like Shakespeare it's a brilliant experience, Stratford has plenty of unique shops & places to eat & with the river & canal is a lovely place to walk round
One of our favourite places to visit. Love walking around the town. The Encore on the corner where we had dinner was very nice. Food excellent. Most of the staff very accommodating and friendly. Theatre was excellent and the box office lady went above and beyond to assist us with changing seats.
Stratford is a lovely location, with lots to do. The river and the theatre being the main attractions. Lots of individual shops with different things on offer. Good restaurants to suit various pockets. Would recommend the Rooftop restaurant at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre and Osteria Da Gino on Union Street. Yorks Coffee Shop is also well worth a visit.
Lovely buildings and plenty of restaurants. All easy walking distance and a nice park where dogs were allowed. Ate in the hotel, Hotel du Vin, which was excellent and also The Vintners, again lovely.regrettably it rained quite hard which was restricting but we will certainly return.
Historic, very welcoming, very clean. Great theatre, river trips, castles, Tudor streets, delicious cafes and restaurants at reasonable prices. Quiet streets, friendly shop owners, great variety of individual shops not the usual high street stores. Loved the place and will definitely be back.
The townhouse is a beautifully decorated and very central hotel. We had two rooms at the top of the hotel. Both of which were very clean and beautifully decorated. Tea, coffee pods and fresh milk in the room with added extras of port and fudge. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. We ate at a local restaurant, Loxleys, for dinner. Super nice! Breakfast at the hotel was very good. Nice late check out of 11. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel to everyone who comes to Stratford upon Avon.
Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Location was ideal for visiting all the Shakespeare family sites within Stratford upon Avon town. The hotel being centrally placed ( with parking on site for a very reasonable cost ) was surrounded by restaurants to suit all pockets and tastes, with an easy stroll to the beautiful riverside, the famous RSC Theatres and the Shakespeare family homes and historic places. Breakfast was the only meal we had in the hotel and it was delicious with plenty of choices.
What's not to like! This beautiful gem of a hotel is in the most ideal location for visiting Stratford Upon Avon and the surrounding countryside. The rooms are immaculate and stylish the outdoor eating/seating area is stunning too. The hotel restaurant experience was just fabulous. The food is so good we didn't want our meal to end. Every member of staff made you feel welcome and comfortable and a pleasure to serve. We would thoroughly recommend this place and will definitely be back to stay.
From the moment you walk in you are treated like a V.I.P. Very welcoming and helpful receptionist and staff. Rooms are very well designed, very clean and ultra comfortable. The huge flatscreen TV was a great bonus for me. Great bar area and a wide selection of wines, beers and spirits to choose from. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel as the staff, location and the hotel itself are the best in Stratford upon Avon.
Great hotel in a great position. Booked at short notice as when we arrived at Stratford upon Avon our original hotel cancelled due to covid. Booked this one and were in the room 30 minutes later. Can’t fault the service or room which was excellent and probably had a better outlook than the original one we booked. Would definitely stay there again.
Stratford-upon-Avon
It's in a nice quiet location, Ideal for a nice break in the countryside, we were made to feel very welcome, although there is no food available we told we were welcome to bring a takeaway back to the hotel, I wish Rob and Vicki all the best for the future and we'll certainly be staying again in the future
Love is more like it!!!! Its a beautiful property filled up with courteous, super helpful staff especially HELEN...she made sure we were all comfortable :) Right in the heart of Stratford upon Avon. Breakfast in the hotel garden...highly recommended We were 7 adults (2 seniors) and had booked 4 rooms.
The hotel is wonderful - however our stay was totally ruined by the obnoxious receptionist Luca, on reception. He is a horrid individual. This is such a shame because other staff members are super - especially the wonderful Jeremy in the breakfast room.
