Take a picnic because the food and drinks are totally over...

Take a picnic because the food and drinks are totally over priced - over £5 for two cups of coffee. Be prepared to eat your picnic standing up as there is nowhere to sit and eat it - the benches by the castle are full all the time of pensioners (who obviously need the seats more than we did because it is a walk!). The cafe is full all the time and there are never any tables spare - we went in three separate occasions throughout the day and it was always full. The rooms in the castle were wonderful and the staff very helpful. The time tower and princess story session were very good BUT you have to pay extra for ice-skating and the dungeons. Beware on frosty days the Zog play area is closed but the Horrible Histories Maze was really good - some of the stamper machines were jammed but the up keep of it was mostly good. My children are 11 and 8 and we arrived at 11 and left at 6pm - they were busy all day. My husband and I managed to survive despite our over priced coffee!

Warwick is a great place to wander around and small enough not to get lost. There are many impressive buildings and lots of choice for eating out. Very friendly and compact. We saw the castle from the exterior as we didn’t get chance to visit on this occasion. Will be back definitely to have a longer look around. From previous experience there is a fabulous walk along the river and canal into Leamington Spa.

Very walkable historic centre.

Very walkable historic centre. Castle is a "must" to visit but allow plenty of time for it as there is a lot to see and do including a couple of Birds of Prey demonstrations. Expensive if you only have a couple of hours. Once you have paid to enter you are allowed to exit the Castle and return in the same day. Also some Museums to visit. There is a church Tower you can go up as well. Lots of Cafes, Pubs and Restaurants with varying cuisines. Great and interesting place for a visit whether for a couple of days or longer.

What we saw was very interesting but as we were there specifically for a funeral we didn't have time to explore. We aim to return, stay at the same hotel and have a good look around (including the "5 pubs walk").

Lovely town - really pretty.

Lovely town - really pretty. Gorgeous park areas and views of the castle. Great restaurants and bars. We loved The Eagle pub - quirky and friendly. Fabulous Italian food at Piccolinos. Also had a nice meal at The Tilted Wig and fun night at Ronnies Bar. Not far to get to Warwick Arts Centre by taxi or driving where we saw a great comedy show. Would definitely visit again. Easy to walk everywhere. Some lovely old tudor buildings.

A lovely location close to the town centre and perfect for our needs. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. We didn't see the host Nik but the phone number was there if we needed anything. We were only stopping the one night as we were travelling from Cumbria to a Music Festival in Warwickshire so the drive wasn't as far the next morning. I would highly recommend staying in this cabin.

Lovely hotel in a beautiful area. Staff were very friendly and even decorated our room as we were celebrating our 19th Wedding anniversary. Pool and spa were lovely. Great location to explore Warwick. Rooms are a good size and we found the hotel very peaceful. Would definitely stay again. Wifi also worked well.

The hotel receptionist was very helpful. The room was clean and tidy and had everything I needed. It was larger (room 7) than most hotel rooms and the bed was very comfortable. The room key fitted the hotel front door. The location made it easy to walk To the centre of Warwick.
