Well located for a visit to the NEC and other West Midlands attractions, right next to the canal with a large beer garden which is a great asset. I have stayed at this hotel several times over the past 8 or so years, always finding it lived up to expectations. The room and bathroom were a good size and serviced each day to a good standard. It was located to the rear of the complex, (away from the road noise), with a view over the canal and fields in the distance. Breakfast was self service buffet style with a decent selection of dishes.

When you first get there it doesn't seem very quiet, but once you get the sliding door/window closed and the curtains closed and cuddle up in the very well positioned bed, the room is super quiet. This was our second stay this year, and it's amazing to see the construction taking place in Birmingham. We were right over the train station this time. We hadn't been sure we wanted to return, but the price was better than a lot of nearby more boring hotels so we tried it again and had a great experience.
