Once I figured how to get in (just go through the open door and pick up my key) and found my room, it was nice. Comfortable and had many TV channels to keep me entertained.

I'd been to Looe a few times over the past 50 years, had never stayed but knew it'd be a place I enjoy. It's full of tiny streets and alleyways, has a small working fishing port, a sandy beach with a little prom, boat trips, good places to eat (JuJu's Tapas, Daisy's Cafe, Chennai Indian Fusion, Sarah's Pasties for takeaway pasties & cream teas), a beautiful branch line railway up to Liskeard, it's close to places like Talland Bay & Polperro and not very far from the Rame Peninsula, Cawsand and Mount Edgecumbe to the east. The SW coast path goes through Looe so plenty of nice coastal walking to be had. Don't forget beautiful little Looe Island nature reserve just offshore, visitable by short boat trip.
Looe is slow to navigate in a car due to its small streets being busy with meandering pedestrians, but that's all part of the fun and as a result it's a nice place to wander round with very little traffic.
The only place I wouldn't go back to is the Pier Cafe where we had breakfast one day. It has a v nice location by the beach but is overpriced and the food is average. Go up the hill to quirky little Daisy's Cafe instead! If you're over in West Looe at Hannafore, be sure to get an al fresco coffee or lunch at Hannafore Kiosk which is excellent.
Overall it's a friendly, interesting, pretty place with a nice atmosphere which exceeded my expectations. Helped that we had sunshine all week in mid-May!

Beautiful fishing village.
Beautiful fishing village. Made to feel welcome but, as with many Cornish villages parking is a nightmare especially if you are disabled. Only two disabled parking bays in the whole of Looe and in the week we spent there they were invariably taken up by NON Blue Badge holders.
The Promenade in East Looe was a joy with a wonderful council run kiosk half way down the mile or so long promenade. Those guys deserve a raise! Easy to park there with grand views of the Island. We went there most days and consumed our body weight in ice cream purchased from said kiosk.
Eating in Looe is also a joy, well stocked with eateries at all standards but almost always offering very fresh fish that is worth the trip on its own. The Coddy Shack is well worth the trip just outside Looe though.

Looe is the sort of place you would go to get away from the everyday of city life I moved from Devon to Bristol a few years ago and wanted somewhere quiet and this was absolutely it, it felt like another world! Despite the rain we went on loads of walks perfect for the dog there is a lot of hidden gems and loads of history to be found. Personally it was perfect for two of us plus a Labrador, maybe less so for children unless you’re willing to travel further afield for day trips! Definitely recommend Kelly’s fish and chips.

Beautiful Looe!
Beautiful Looe! Weather was wild and a challenge with big gusts of wind and heavy rain. Restaurants closed relatively early especially when travelled from far and arriving later than 8pm. Locals very friendly. Bit disappointed with the quality of fish food in 2 restaurants.

It has lovely shops and many places to eat, a lovely place to visit.
But can be very busy so plan ahead for food and parking, like booking up if want to go to a particular restaurant! Please make sure you book even before arriving if going in a busy time of year, parking just go straight to main large car park as will waste time trying to get into small ones by harbour unless mid winter as very busy.
Fantastic location with parking easy walk to main town / beach & harbour . Nice patio area over looking the estuary and boats. Buses & rail Station are a stones throw away .. Ideal for base it has a well equipped kitchen if you want to cook !
A good power shower and comfortable bed.
We took the opportunity to indulge in a couple of Spa treatments offered on site and id give the lovely hostess Sarah 10/10. They do allow pets which is a big bonus for anyone x
Breakfast served every morning provided a broad selection of high-quality items, prepared and delivered to perfection by the nicest hosts imaginable, Stephanie and Andrew. They made our stay delightful and we’re accommodating to all our needs during the stay. The room was well appointed, clean, and comfortable. The view from our windows were terrific. The TV and wifi were better than other locations in Cornwall.
Exceptionally clean and perfect for exploring beautiful Cornwall. Everything you could need for a self catering break.
Hot tub was amazing- private and very welcoming after a long day out visiting all the local beaches
Hosts were lovely and made sure we had everything we needed
Definitely be booking again and would recommend
Beautiful location, a handy base for a tour of Cornwall. Good facilities, clean and comfortable with good bed. Very friendly and helpful host. Very attractive cottage. Easy parking. We loved the rural outlook while still being within easy drive to a good small supermarket and choice of country pubs.
It was a good size mobile home with 2 bedrooms which is always great as a couple. Within driving distance was a lot of attractions in this section of Cornwall so there was plenty to do. The park was very quiet, car parking space right outside the mobile home and easy to access. we enjoyed the stay.
We had a lovely stay in the quaint coastal town of Looe at the Prospect house. Prospect house was conveniently central and nicely appointed and clean. We were able to do laundry. We stayed in the lower unit which was great for the two of use. It was a wonderful stay.
The room was lovely overlooking the sea very comfortable, the food at the hotel was fantastic we had lunch and breakfast. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel and our room were very clean very close to Looe. The location overlooking the sea is fantastic.
Excellent breakfast with plenty of choice. Complimentary scones with clotted cream and jam was a nice touch. Very nice room with a good size balcony overlooking Looe Beach. Staff very friendly. Car parking on site but needs to be pre-booked.
Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at The Rivercroft - the owners were super helpful and very friendly. Food in the evening was of a high standard as was breakfast. Would throughly recommend to anyone visiting Looe or Cornwall as a whole.
The room had everything we needed and was a great bargain night. It over looked the harbour and was quiet. The Harbour Moon supplied plenty in the room for breakfast so it didn't matter that they don't do a breakfast.
It was close the beach and not fare to the shops and restaurants. Clair the housekeeper and Charlie the maintenance man were both very helpful, hardworking and knowledgeable about the area of Looe.
Perfect for a family trip to Cornwall. Four of us (2 adults and 2 teenagers) had plenty of room and surroundings were quiet and peaceful. Close to coastal path or a short drive to Looe or Polperro.
Walking distance into picturesque village and Sandy bay. Very good base to travel around Cornwall. Lovely B&B with great hosts who were very attentive and served a great Welsh breakfast.
Great Location from the train station. Central location on the West Quay with great views of the harbour. Great destination to use as a base to visit local areas.
Everything about Harbour House is perfect. It’s a absolute must in terms of location, views and the best Cornwall has to offer. Hope to return very soon.
