Kardamena is a charming and friendly fishing village. Lots of wonderful restaurants and bars to choose from. The locals are very helpful and friendly . A short distance from the airport so you are in and out of resort quickly. The airport is new and modern. Plenty of boat trips to other islands.AAnonymous - 10Scored 10
Our favourite place during day was the beach coast close to...
Our favourite place during day was the beach coast close to the bar Noa, because comfortable sunbeds, easy access to the sea, less people. The part of beach near the hotel I used only for regular morning swimming. During day it was uncomfortable for us because sunbeds was not able to move to the shadow, it was too narrow space for all beds. I learned that it is very easy to get to the hotel from the airport by public bus. There is no need to rent a car or travel by taxi. Also rent a car in the town is more cheaper then online rent a car.

Restaurants were plenty but generally much the same, Sun beds were free on the beach, with beach service for food and drink, (in October) I don’t know about the rest of the Summer, very Brits abroad.

Stay at Mina Studios in Kardamena! Have a coffee and croissant next to the supermarket on the square! Go for a dinner to lovely restaurant called Avli! Rent a motorbike and go explore Paradise beach, Kefalos and see the sunset at Marmari! Take a motorbike or sunset tour to Zia and have a wonderful dinner in one of the restaurants with a sunset view there! Go for a stroll to Kos Town, see the ruins, harbour, castle, Hippocrates platan etc., shop souvenirs, eat at Mama's kitchen! Kardemena is a lovely friendly village.
Kardemena is a lovely friendly village. Safe for solo travellers. Plenty of lovely restaurants and bars. Not a party town at all. Lots of boat trips, car and buggy hire places. A lovely harbour to look at night or day from the many restaurants and bars facing it. It has 2 beaches. One aligned with a few beach bars/restaurants and the other very quiet. Plenty of little shops to dander around and enough supermarkets and mini markets for all your essentials. The house is located 2 minutes from all the important points.,( kritikos supermarket, bus stop that goes to mastichari port and kos town and to a lovely sandy beach) The host was very welcoming and communicated to make sure we were okay. We had a bottle of wine, juice and water as a gift on arrival. The apartment itself is very quiet for a good rest, and yet only two minutes away from all the bustle of the town. The room was already clean for us even when we arrived earlier. Every day the room was cleaned and smelling good. By 10' walking you are already at the beach and downtown. In the room you have basic stuff if you want to cook as well with a small fridge and a bottle of water waiting for you when you arrive. We felt really welcome by Nikos 2 and we hope to come back again!

They provide an airport shuttle (around 15 minutes to the hotel), surprised us with a free upgrade to the sea view room for our honeymoon, some fruits and wine in the room. We really loved our stay, the beautiful resort, the unbeatable food, the staff and Kos Island itself. Thank you very much, we'll surely come back someday.
