Near to transportation means.
Too much noise from others staying in the hotel
Bathroom was small but at least clean and up to date.
Requested double bed. Got two singles pushed together. Beds had no cushioning. Felt like sleeping right on the springs. Balcony had no chairs to sit out. Noisy hallways. Far away from attractions and anything at all....be prepared to walk!! Breakfast was poor. Staff wasn't very friendly. Spend a bit more money and stay at a nicer place. This hotel needs to cut the rate in half!
Close to transit. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Poor WiFi. I had a much better connection, in my room at Apollo, to the neighbouring Crystal Hotel. The AC didn't work properly, and our entire floor blew a fuse during our first hour there. The walls are paper thin. The rooftop cafe was very noisy and blasting loud music heard from the 5th and 6th floors well into the night.
good value hotel near the center. friendly staff and is very clean
pick picketers on the metro . watch out .had wallet stolen
We liked the girl on reception, she could not have been more helpful and she was very pleasant.
We asked for a quiet room, I understand that this could be difficult in a city, however! there seemed to be some very loud music being play very near to-or above us, and some banging which seemed like some sort of maintenance going on, which was most of the evening and well into the night. we got very little sleep due to this, and we had travelled many kilometre's that day, and had a great deal of driving to do the next day also.
Great location in the centre of Athens, 4 metro stations from the Acropolis and main museums. Rooms are decent and clean and hotel was a bar/terrance in the top floor with great view to the city and Acropolis.
This is not a complain of the hotel but more rather of the noise of traffic in Athens. You can't leave your window slightly open because the traffic noise will overwhelm you! but hey, that's Athens!
Room was clean, comfortable bed and good value for money. Shower hot
Wifi not working Noise from generator outside room window. No prob for me, I'm a good sleeper, but kept my Dad up. B'fast reasonable but nothing special
Clean and affordable.
The hotel is well situated and the staff are friendly and accommodating, even late at night. The rooms are clean. The hotel is very well priced.
The interior and especially the mattresses and lift is outdated, but acceptable. The safe door in the room and the outside door could not close. The roof area was very noisy and sleeping was problematic until the early hours of the morning.
good location, clean and quiet. Kind staff and helpful.
Non working wifi
Location. Very close to metro station and one station distance to Omonia, central location.
Dirty floor and bathroom. There was an ant colony in bathroom. There were two electric sockets, one is connected with TV located near to ceiling. I had to climb on something to charge my mobile phone. Bed was very uncomfortable and there was always a noise. We couldn't sleep well. Breakfast was also bad. Bathroom deserves a special thank: Worst bathroom I have ever seen.
Concierge was very helpful and friendly with sightseeing suggestions and showing us how to get around. View of the acropolis from the rooftop is a bonus. If you just want a pitstop before you head to the islands, this is the place to do it.
About an hour after I ate from the free buffet, I started feeling off. I essentially spent the following 15 hours writhing in pain from food poisoning. It must have been either the ham or eggs, because my boyfriend didn't have any and he was fine. Let's just say I got very familiar with the bathroom.
Very nice and practical. Great location to get around the city.
The man of the reception who was working during the night is a bomber. The breakfast.
Good central location on a main street, free parking in front of the hotel, easy to find and easy to go to the motorway, good breakfast included, walking distance to the Acropole (20 minutes), good value for money.
Small room and bathroom.
Easy to find from the underground (as long as you take the exit on the right) and very short trips to all the major attractions and the univerisity of Athens. I was told this area is one of the less savoury of Athens, however I had no problems travelling by myself during day and night (26, Male).
The Wifi was very poor up on the 6th floor and I often couldn't load up my e-mails at night. The wifi in the lobby was good though.
Internet does not work.
The bathroom was clean and modern and the room was well maintained.
The breakfast, cold scrambled eggs, no fresh fruit and watered orange concentrate, very little imagination and variety. Traffic on main street so very loud at night if you want to keep the sliding door open.
Very near the metro station, overlooking the acropolis, very near the grocery store
Great rooftop with bar. Fair breakfast for the price. Large bathroom, modern shower.
Noisy (you hear people passing by in the hotel), and close to a big street. Two small beds, not that comfortable. Pretty far from center (20mn by walk)
Close to metro station...
Traffic sounds made sleep hard... The ropms and furniture were really old...
leaving mostly. There was one friendly woman on the reception.
What a joyless place. Most of the staff just entirely ignored us and the residents seemed to be suffering from some kind of chronic depression. Lift barely works (quite scary actually), WiFi didn't work. Breakfast's are really appalling tasteless rubbish, the ground floor bar is just miserable, the roof bar just a dismal terrace. LOd banging on the tihrd floor which we assumed was unsatisfied residents being shot at by the staff. All in all one of the least loved, least cared for places I have ever stayed. Something is very, very wrong with whoever runs this place. They obviously don't give a toss. Traffic noise 24 hours a day didn't help.
- extremely small room - wifi was out of order - the reception refused to print my boarding pass
Near the Acropolis and metro connections. The area seems a little bit dark, but we didn't have any problems.
Shower and bathroom were too small. Never managed to connect to any WiFi network, even when in the reception.
Old uncomfortable beds
