Pristine location. A few steps from harbor. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good. We booked a small room for one night and enjoyed the stay. We were also offered to park just in front of the hotel, which is really sweet of the staff. Thank you!

Wauw - what a nice place. The room was very spacious, especially the bathroom. Very clean, very modern equipment. We watched the sunset out of the balcony of one window side and the sunrise on the other. The view on the water castle of Bourtzi in the Argolic gulf is breathtaking. The reception provided even beach towels for the beach which is in walking distance from the Guesthouse. We loved the breakfast, a buffet with homemade bakeries and local food beautifully presented and cared for by the chef and his team.
Hidden under the rock of Akronafplia, Hotel Marianna offers traditionally styled rooms. The communal patio comes with views over the picturesque town of Nafplio, the historic castle of Palamidi.

although nafplio itself is not large, especially if you stick to the old town which is the most interesting part it is a good base for local tours either with a bus/ktel, affordable taxi or a car. We would have liked to at least check out Epidavros as well and a near by monastery. if you plan to visit nearby sites without basing your self in nafplio 2 days is plenty other wise 4 days to fit Mycenae and Epidavrus

3 nights max is perfect for Nafplio during the winter season. The city is beautiful, the Venesian forst was fabulous and the food is good. The only issue I have with the city is the terrible smell, air quality that seems to start around 5pm and continues until about 8 pm.

A great place with lots of history and plenty of places to eat. Very quaint in the old town and as the tourist season runs throughout the year, it was still having things open during December.
The castle’s are well worth a visit and the shops in the old towns are very much craft related.
It’s not expensive to eat out and it’s well worth a visit but it’s not a very big town so about 3 days would be enough. If you stayed longer, it would be as a base to explore all the old heritage sites located within a hours drive. Definitely get a hire car as no train comes out this far. We flew in to Athens which is a 2 hour drive on the motorway.

Worthwhile to visit. Great little find in Greece.
Worthwhile to visit. Great little find in Greece. Fly to Athens, catch a train as far as Corinth. We then got a taxi as it was late but on researching, better getting a bus from the airport to Nafplio. A third of the price and very convenient. We got a bus back from Nafplio. Sounds a faff but it wasn’t and very comfortable bus journey with helpful driver. Def worth the effort to get to there to visit . Walked up to Palmedi fortress. Wow! The views were stunning. Got the boat over to the other fortress - nice trip. Took the little road train too - only 20 minutes and helps get bearings round the town. Loads of walking. Loads of pubs and restaurants and shops. Food was all fresh and amazing fish served too.
By far, the staff were the true stars of this hotel. We stayed for one night while on our way to Zacharo, and we received the most kind and genuine welcome by the staff. The room was clean and quiet, and the breakfast was superb with many selections of fresh breads, jams, fruits, etc. They recommended a restaurant close by that was next to the water who served the most amazing grilled fish. Although it was not in the center of Nafplio City, we preferred to be in a more quiet area with nice views of the water.
This small hotel was perfect for my stay to Nafplio. It is right in the old part of town and so close to the beach and port.
The bed and bedding is extremely comfortable, the best sleep I’ve had during my trip. Like a cloud!
I had a room with balcony and it overlooked terracotta roofs and a beautiful church dome.
Breakfast was bountiful, fresh and delicious and Dimitris is an excellent proprietor, friendly and accommodating and quick to reply when I had to ask questions.
I highly recommend you book here!
A lovely little hotel. It was one of the most memorable places we stayed during our 3-week travel in Greece. Our room was at the third floor, spacious and charming with a full kitchen and a lovely balcony facing to the sea. The balcony had installed with the ropes and clips for drying clothes.
The Mr. owner helped us to order a taxi taking us to the top of the Palamidi Fortress (10 euro one way).
Great location - inside the old town near a free public car park. Try to come early in the day to get a space.
Very clean, brand new and stylish apartment in a quiet neighbourhood, just a few minutes away from Nafplio centre, and at a very fair price.
Having stayed in various apartments all over Greece, I have to admit that the hospitality of these hosts exceeded expectations and was unlike anything we have experienced before. Very kind, helpful and proactive. A nice apartment alone means nothing without a proper host to run it. Will visit for sure in the near future, 100% deserves it.
This little hotel is very beautiful. The room, floor ceramics, bathroom, all designed in extremely good taste. The room was very big and had a balcony that overlooks the port, shame another building is being built in front partially blocking the beautiful view. The room and common areas were very clean. We drove 10 minutes to the sandy beach, Karathonas, which was just lovely and very much enjoyed the town of Nafplio, good restaurants and lovely atmosphere in the evening.
Everything ! Best place we have stayed in Greece. Traveling with an infant and toddler . Greeted with wine, food in fridge , bottled water, high chair, crib. Very accommodating , friendly hosts and staff. Helped my husband load and unload luggage. So bright , kitchen had everything. Gorgeous wrap around balcony with amazing views . Located on quiet street but 5 minute walk to square. Great restaurants , shops , night life. We didn’t want to leave.
From start to finish everything about the stay was wonderful! We really enjoyed our stay here. The place had a very warm and homely feel mixed with a historic charm. Our host, Lena was the BEST!! She went out of her way to make us feel at home!! We appreciate her and her staff and enjoyed good conversation with Lena. The best part was the breakfast. The food was delicious and we were finally able to get a good cup of coffee in Greece!!
Location is perfect for walking and exploring Nafplio. Lovely decor in the rooms and comfortable beds. 3 Sixty Dining and wine bar had excellent food with nice presentation. Tasty breakfast with several choices. The fruit was very fresh. Loved the pancakes. Front desk staff went over and above, even gave us coffee and water to go when we checked out. Will definitely stay here again and recommend this boutique hotel.
Absolutely loved this hotel, very clean, modern, and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. We are a family of 5 with one triple room and one double standard. Very close to all the restaurants and shops. One of the best hotel experiences we had in Greece! Highly recommend!
Our stay here was exceptional. The rooms are very comfortable and clean and the hotel is situated right in the middle of Nafplio's beautiful city centre. The staff are all nice and attentive and the breakfast was delicious (and cheap!). We loved our time here and definitely recommend it to everyone.
Amazing hotel. Reception staff were exceptionally friendly. Excellent rooms with comfortable beds and amazing bathrooms. Nice to have a walk in shower with reliable hot water and excellent water pressure. Lovely breakfast on the rooftop with views of Nafplio and the Palamidi fortress.
Great little hotel in the middle of Nafplio's old town. Free parking only a few hundred meters away. Very friendly and helpful staff. Large colonial-style room with very comfortable king-size bed. Simple but good breakfast. Highly recommended!
A stunning boutique hotel in the heart of Nafplio. we had a balcony looking out on the square.
The staff were wonderful, friendly, helpful, just lovely.
The breakfast in the square was fabulous.
Thank you!
Very welcoming host.
The building is really compliant to the traditional architecture of Nafplion.
The breakfast was well above the average quality served in Greece.
