Just 325 ft from Monastiraki Metro Station and less than a 10-minute walk from Syntagma Square, the Attalos Hotel features a rooftop bar with an Acropolis view.
Score from 1531 reviews Very good
Located between Filopappos Hill and Syngrou Avenue, Hotel Tony has communal lounges. It is only 270 yards from the new Acropolis Museum and a 5-minute walk from Syngrou Fix Metro Station.
Score from 507 reviews Excellent
Evripides is in a central location in Athens, close to the Acropolis, and within a short walk of Plaka. Guests enjoy access to the rooftop terrace offering panoramic city views.
Score from 1203 reviews Good
Just a few minutes from Athens' National Gallery, this apartment-style hotel includes a variety of comfortable accommodations for short and long-stay guests and is close to the metro station.
Score from 181 reviews Very good
Location, close to metro and sights roof terrace good aircon reasonable breakfast
broken and glued together bed mattress sagging in the middle very old room interior (paint peeling off ceiling, old carpet), needs updating
it was very nice to be so near the historical places and also next to the old part of Athens, the Plakka. The view from the roof terrace was fantastic and a very nice place to have breakfast + an evening snack and a drink. Also very good value..
Rather noisy if your room is on the side of the busy road, so you can't sleep with your window open. The fitted carpet really needs to be changed and there was a strong smell of moth balls in the main hall and stair case
Good location, air conditioning and the breakfast on the roof.
Do not hestitate to stay at the Jason Inn. They went out of their way to help us when we had property stolen on the metro. The location is excellent and breakfast outstanding! The balcony view of the Acropolis will take you breath away time and time again. You can also order dinner and drinks in the evening to view the night lights. The rooms are a good size and nothing can be faulted.
We like the roof top for the view and food
No problems with anything.
good location near metro
Too nosy near the main road with moto cycle cannot sleep well.
The location is very convenient for the sights and places to eat. The staff are friendly and helpful
Not the prettiest street
Walking distance to Metro, Acropolis & Plaka. Desk clerk was helpful giving information.
Uncomfortable, hard mattresses but found similar in two other hotels on the islands. Upstairs restaurant not great.
This hotel is close to the major tourist attractions and transport. The staff were very helpful.
Everyone at Jason Inn was kind and friendly from the moment we arrived - lovely service. The location is FANTASTIC for the top sights - everything is in easy walking distance, so great for a short stay. We'd definitely come back to see more.
The proximity to all the facilities and the shopping. The staff were helpful. The view from the restaurant. I was able to store my luggage on the last day - this was very helpful.
The bed was a bit hard for me.
location, roof top view of acropolis fantastic. convenient to metro station. also good location for walking.
hotel very basic. décor very dated. restaurant menu snack bar type.
Location was quite central (near Monastiraki metro, excellent for reaching airport), reception at the front desk was professional, breakfast at the rooftop restaurant was a nice touch, both room and the bathroom were clean. We even had a desired Acropolis view.
Room could use a face lift. Bloody buggery pigeons trying to kill me while enjoying my Acropolis view breakfast!
Location and views from the roof top bar. The staff were excellent and very helpful.
rooms comfortable but a bit shabby - but fine for a short stay
The view from the rooftop restaurant was very pretty at night.
We ate dinner at the hotel and the food was very bland. Not what I expected of Greek food.
great front desk service
- Great view of Acropolis from the restaurant at the top of the building - Very convenient location, just 3 minutes walk from metro stop - Good, basic accomodation
- Wet-style bathroom- when you shower all the floor gets wet - On the lower floor (1st floor) you can hear some street noise
It's the best price quality ratio in this area. The hotel is perfectly located. The terrace view is just stunning. The breakfast was good. It was perfect for a short but entertaining stay in Athens.
The AC at the hotel's lobby was turned off during the day. Our window locks seemed pretty old and we could perfectly hear people talking and scooters on the street.
nothing... The rooftop view on the acropolis is nice but many other hotels in the area offer much better service. We had to choose this hotel because no other hotel in this price range were available at the time of booking...
The hotel is old fashion. The room seems to be from 1960! Cabinets are broken. Carpet are dirty. Bathroom... is not a bathroom... you wonder if it's a shower or a bath... or a corner to wash your feet... terrible... We asked for a quiet room and we got a room on the street... impossible to sleep as the windows are not soundproof... And when we ask for a good pastry in the area the guy at the front desk just laugh at us and was not helpful at all...
The location is absolutely great and it has a breathtaking rooftop where you eat a very poor breakfast.
The wifi is terrible. Everything here is super old. You don't feel fresh and happy in it. But it's obviously a budget type of hotel so you really get what you pay.
View. Looked out at a back wall.
excellent breakfast roof and amazing view and location, worth visiting
The hotel is very close to all major sites,Ermou street is just at the first corner, you can walk in 20 minutes to Acropolis,New Acropolis Museum,or just wander on Adrianou street or Ermou to Plaka,Monastiraki, and to Syntagma Square. Not at last, from the roof terace bar there is a gorgeous view to Acropolis,by night, with a good cocktail from the bar,or in the morning,at breakfast. The pidgeons, are not so intruding as other said, yes, they hunt every scrumble, but in a nice way. For those arriving by car,the hotel has an arrangement with a parking nearby, only 8 Eur / day,a very fair price and it's open 24 hours. The neighborhod is shaby but safe, only if you choose to sleep with open windows, there's much noise, especialy in the morning, not the hotel fault.
