White Lotus Hotel is just 165 ft from the metro station of Metaxourgeio and just over half a mile from the hipster area of Gazi with entertainment options.
Score from 7 reviews Very good
Just 325 ft from Monastiraki Metro Station and less than a 10-minute walk from Syntagma Square, the Attalos Hotel features a rooftop bar with an Acropolis view.
Score from 1447 reviews Very good
Right on Monastiraki Square, just steps from Monastiraki Flea Market, 360 Degrees features a roof bar- restaurant with panoramic views of the city and the Acropolis.
Score from 39 reviews Exceptional
Evripides is in a central location in Athens, close to the Acropolis, and within a short walk of Plaka. Guests enjoy access to the rooftop terrace offering panoramic city views.
Score from 1108 reviews Good
Reception very helpful.
Restaurant needs a bit more vibe and a more comfortable menu.
A very good, central place for a short stay in Athens. Welcoming and comfortable. Staff very helpful.
Even the taxi driver (arriving from the airport) had great difficulty finding the hotel - but you have to blame that on the eccentric street layout! Once you've found it, though, you're OK.
Excellent breakfast with great views. Close to central.
Location, price rooms
Old, not modernized. Staff not very friendly
On the very edge of the town centre so a walk of about 5 mins will find you there. Close enough to be convenient, far enough to be quiet & out the way. Good staff, knowledgeable, polite & friendly, always present at the desk & happy to help with questions or advice. The metro is about a 5 min walk also do convenient & easy to use. The hotel was clean, comfortable with a fair wifi & good air-con. The breakfast was very good with cooked bacon, cold meats & different cheese. Cereals, toast, bread, fruit & yoghurt. Juices & water with milk, tea & coffee & a long window to get there so never a need to rush your morning. All in all, nice hotel with good staff & good spot. I would stop here again certainly. The only thing I really missed was some form of gym but I appreciate space doesn't always make this possible.
A lack of gym, fitness suite or make-do gym with equipment or even just a means to swim. But understandable why.
The location and good for money of this hotel makes it a great stop for your stop in Athens.
The wifi is a bit slow and sometimes disconnect you
Position Helpful staff Terrace view Breakfast Air conditioning
Little bit old Pigeons on tables of breakfast
+Situation next to the points of interest + View from the roof terrasse
- it was very very dirty: - it smells horrible on the 3rd floor where our room was located (mould infested !), we left the window open all night long to have a bit of fresh air... - carpet in the room was soooo dirty! - toilette wasn't cleaned at all (i don't want to explain....) - the bed was not comfortable at all, but that was ok....
The hotel is in center town with a spectacular vew of the Partenon from the room and at breakfast on the terrace
Location less than 10 min walk to Monastiraki Breakfast in a great terrace with Acropolis views.
Excellent location. The breakfast was good. The view from the terrace to the Acropolis is unforgettable.
The rooms are small.
The room was spacious and clean. Quiet part of the Athens. Metro station is about 100 meters away within walking distance. Breakfast and the terrace that is overlooking to Acropolis were great.
Location! Great view of the acropolis!
Too simple, nothing special! The forniture was too old. The staff at the restaurant was unfriendly and before the time of close (10 am) started to take off the food and clean the space and the guests were not able to take more or any food. I will not return here!
Very near Monastiraki Square (great walking distance) along with the metro there, view of the Acropolis on roof top, excellent customer service (greeted us every time we entered, answers phone, answered questions), we were on the 3rd floor and had great WiFi, we went during summer and ac worked great; there is a timer you can set to turn the ac on while you're away so that you can come back to your room all cool and all. There are some negatives about this hotel but overall, if you are just using the hotel for sleep then this is a great value to your money when staying at this hotel only because it is near the square and metro station.
Showers were not like the typical showers in hotels; highly recommend bringing shower slippers. We bought some at the Monastiraki flea market. We were on the 3rd floor right below the rooftop and you can hear the employee's working but we were always tired from touring so it did not keep us awake too long. Very small room/bathroom but it is normal in Europe. Eating breakfast on the rooftop attracts a lot of pigeons so do not leave your plate unattended.
Ideal location for acropolis and museum
The lobby was pretty--much prettier than the rooms, but the rooms were larger than most and clean. The rooftop deck had a great view and the breakfast was very good. The location was perfect; close to the metro station and within walking distance of lots of restaurants and sights
I liked it all
GREAT Location. Fantastic Rooftop Terrace with awesome view of Acropolis.
The breakfast was very varied.
Our bedroom had a strange smell, probably fungus . The bathroom sink would get clogged since the mechanism to drain the water wasn't working appropriately.
Very friendly staff. Good location. The block around the hotel looks a bit seedy, but it's actually a pretty good neighborhood.
There was a dank smell in the bathroom.
The location was perfect for us, because of 1. Fabulous views from the rooftop restaurant - best views ever of Athens by night 2. Closeness to the Ancient parts of the city including the Akropolis 3. Closeness to the wonderful synagogue and the Hammam, Turkish baths. The breakfast bar on the rooftop restaurant was good. Our room was plain but spacious, comfortable and spotless. All staff excellent including the wonderful multilingual man at the front desk, who arranged taxis for us at an excellent rate, the women who cleaned the place so well and happily arranged for us to get extra pillows etc, and the dining-room staff, friendly and professional - all great. Athens was our final stop -four nights- after touring and cruising in a number of countries. Jason Inn was the least expensive place we stayed at (all were booked through Booking.com) and it was the best of them all. Will recommend to all friends and look forward to staying there again one day.
Nothing at all. Great place!
The location and the view.
Avoid rooms on the third floor; the restaurant is right above you and staff start dragging chairs around a little after 5:00am.
My friend and I only stayed one night between island hopping and flying home. It was nice, comfortable and affordable.
Man at reception was very helpful and friendly Obviously the rooftop for breakfast was really beautiful Actually the location is perfect and close to metro etc.
Decent Location Close to Metro and restaurants
Moldy washrooms,old carpet in rooms.
We enjoyed their terrace bar with great view of Acropolis at night. Cool air and quieter than most of bars in Tissio area. The breakfast served there was also nice.
