Amazing Greece island with many beautiful beaches.
Amazing Greece island with many beautiful beaches. Local food was also amazing and people were very nice wherever we went. If you are visiting this island, you must see Olympus village. It does take around 1 hour of driving with car from Pigadia, but it's well worth the view. Talking with locals there we learned a lot of history about this island.SSimonSLOSlovenia - 10Scored 10

It is so safe!
It is so safe! The walking is wonderful - many views of the sea. The boat tours were wonderful. So many choices of how to see the island villages. We had a lovely seven village private tour with Apollon Private Tours.

The town folk were friendly and helpful. I came a little out of season so quite a few stores and restaurants had shut down. As a result I couldn't get the full compliment of seafood(lobsters) that they usually serve in season, but I also got cheaper deals on other things, such as rental vehicles and hotel accommodationO - 10Scored 10

Karpathos is a wonderful place to visit. There are lots of boat tours that take you to different beaches and the oldest village on the island. The food is amazing and the shops have lots to offer. It is one of the most beautiful places I have been and I have traveled the world.Case

We loved everything about the apartment, the cleanliness, the amazing large private balcony with an amazing view and large bathroom. Both our host Evdokia and her father Christos were amazing and kind people and made us feel at home. We will definitely be staying here again should we be lucky enough to come to Karpathos again. Mr Mihalis in particular went above and beyond to make sure I had a good time. I had no car and many times if he was nearby he would give me a lift. The whole time I was there I felt more like visiting family or family friends than being a customer. It was because of the friendliness of Mr Mihalis and Mrs Sofia and the rest of the Karpathos people and together of course with the beauty of the island itself that I had an amazing time in Karpathos.

Quiet neighborhood, while only couple of minuntes walking distance from Pigadia center (restaurants cafeterias supermarkets pharmacies etc). The apartment was very clean and fully equipped. Panagiota is a lovely host who went above and beyond. She welcomed us with local and homemade snacks, fresh pies and fruits and was very responsive and helpful during our stay. Location is just outside the town's center but there is a steep upheel. Nothing to scare you off. Terrace is great with nice view. Swimming pool I didn't use but looked okay. The hosts are very friendly. No mosquitos or other flyers.

The hosts were amazing, generous, and kind. They gave us plenty of coffee, a bottle of wine, and more. A highlight was going on an intimate boat ride with the owner to see caves and private beaches. We will come back for sure!!

Located ad a distance of 3 minutes from the centre of Pigadia, you can easily reach all the beaches from the house (but of course a car is needed). House is clean and comfy, available AC and washing machine. Maria is a perfect host, always available to give you informations. Highly recommended.
