Overlooking Pedion Areos Park, the Radisson Blu Park Hotel Athens features free Wi-Fi and is in a safe area of the city, a 5-minute walk from Victoria Metro Station.
Score from 548 reviews Good
Free wifi with speed not more than 0,1 Mbit/S. For regular speed you have to pay 17 Euro/day. The location is within the city and the area around is very sketchy. The view to the akropolis is a fake and not necessary, because from inside the room there is no. The interieur is low standard and not more than 2 Stars. No shampoo for using the bathtub.
Excellent views of the acropolis and great food
Traffic at all hours of the night
Near the metro
Rooftop restaurant/pool Friendly helpful staff Well run hotel
Small bathroom Lifts not working on occasion
Good location in the center of the city, nice terrace on the roof with swimming pool, very nice staff, very good breakfast
Only two elevators and very slow, considering the amount of people staying there, room noisy because of the traffic
Next to metro. Good breakfast.
Few restaurants and shops near to hotel.
Plenty of room and quite convenient
The shower head was the wrong type so kept falling off its fixture. Breakfast was only average. There was a lot of noise due to furniture being moved on the floor above. The lifts took forever to arrive.
The staff at the front desk and at the rooftop restaurant were friendly and efficient. Dinner as we looked across to the illuminated Parthenon on the Acropolis was memorable.
location roof top pool and bar
The staff was very nice and as a family of five we were able to all be in the same room. Around Europe it's not often an option. Breakfast very good and a lot of choices. Right by the subway station and the subway was easy to use.
The hotel needs a serious update, it just looks very old and not in the good way. The internet was horrible, you can use the free internet for about 60 minutes and was never able to connect to anything. My husband payed for it so he could watch the Royals game and still had trouble with that. Its not close to the things to do, we had to use the subway and cab to get to places. The subway is easy to use but we usely like to walk everywhere so we dont miss on anything, that time we couldn't it would been just too much for our 3 kids. Its about 20 minutes walk to the Acropolis gate after that you still have to hike up to it.
Rooftop pool and bar with excellent view
Breakfast is decent. the metro is in the front of the hotel to city center.
Hotel is located in a sketchy part of town. Staff isn't helping with tourist sightseeing information. The pictures of the hotel in booking.com looks a lot better than in person.
The location is very good, 2 minutes from the sub.
The poor is not really interesting, cold and/or not heaten. The room and furnitures are very old, smell like and it is not really what we were looking for.
Very close to metro station Nice view from the roof restaurant
We had booked a luxury double room; we had booked a double bed but we were given two twin beds placed next to each other (-not even connected). They were very light (and moved apart), narrow, and uncomfortable; almost like youth hostel beds. The view promised from the "luxury double bedroom" was not as good as advertised.
The location is good which makes everything in Athens accessable and easy to reach. Great views of Akropolis and Monasteraki from the rooftop bar
Room have marble floor so one hears every sound especialy if neighbours wear high heal shoes. Balcony doors, double doors make a considerable noise when opened. Do not understand "No smoking rooms" they just go onto the balcony to smoke and neighbours get the smoke in their room. Restaurant on the roof was really dissapointing with quite bad food for the price
I had a view of the Acropolis
Simple hotel, Staff interrogated me upon entering the hotel.
Almost everything! Location is excellent
I really felt lucky to get my reservation, because it was last minute. However, the accommodation was available and the staff couldn't have been more pleasant. I felt the location of the hotel was perfect for taking the metro bus and pick up for the city tour bus. It was only around the corner. The view of the Acropolis was great. We could not only see it from our balcony, but from the roof top restaurant/bar and pool. I will definitely come back here again.
Adequate sized room, lovely helpful staff. Right beside a metro station. The roof area is fantastic - waiter service at your sunlounger as you look at the Acropolis. We had a lovely dinner outside while admiring Athens at night. Would certainly use again.
The bathroom could do with a refurb. If you are a light sleeper ask for a room at the front of the hotel i.e. Not an Acropolis view.
It is in Athens.
The hotel looks really old and worse for wear. It was supposed to have been renovated for the Olympics but that clearly did not happen. The view of the acropolis that I was sold on is not worth paying for - it is very far and we could only see it if we went to the balcony and looked far to the side. You can see the acropolis like this from pretty much anywhere. The lifts were really slow and some didn't work so there was a queue of people. The breakfast was a disgrace - really old stale bread, sticky omelette, tasteless beans. I almost broke a tooth biting on their nectarine - it was absolutely rock hard. There is a bar on the roof with a nice view but the pool was closed even though it was only 11th September and really hot. The rooms were really old - I would think it was a 2.5 star hotel... The location is close to the underground but not close enough to the centre to walk. So you might as well stay in a place that is further away and pay less. At the same time the price of the stay was quite steep. Definitely not good value for money. Was disappointed.
Location was very poor and around area was not that safe
Nice location and friendly reception staff. Great view!
Expensive for what's on offer. The restaurant and pool bar are separate, so do not order from the pool bar waitress in close proximity when you sit at a table. Restaurant has poor and slow service and waiter very rude. Not a good experience at all!!!Rather have a drink at the pub across the road outside the hotel. Furnishings and decoration are outdated.
Excellent value for money, staff very helpful & friendly, brilliant roof top pool, bar & restaurant with delicious food. Fab breakfast with huge choice.
The only downside would be the hot food part of the breakfast buffet was not very warm so food warmers need to be better.
Roof top dining, metro links
nice clean hotel next to the Metro so can get around easily. Great to get to Pireaus easily, save on Taxis.
