Located in the southeast part of Samos, only a few kilometers from the airport, Pythagoreio has a lovely port and a lively main street. You will find restaurants, bars, grocery stores, liquor stores, shops, and access to beaches. It is historic and fun and has an excellent antiquities museum. You might also try a day cruise to the island of Samiopoula, with a secluded beach and a delicious lunch, on the Agia Irini with Captian Jiannis and his crew.

Pythagoreio is the cutest town on the island of Samos with beautiful views on the sea. The two main streets are exceptionally beautiful to look at during sunset, but all the other streets are marvellous as well. Off season is nice and quiet there, you can just wander around and have a coffee and read a book for days on end. …or sit by the sea and have a drink and chat with the locals. Restaurant “Ambrosia” is totally authentic in greek cuisine with a super awesome, familiar, funny and attentive service. We went to this restaurant once a day for six days — for brunch or for dinner. Pythagoreio is an adorable town with various options of great food, beaches, and great views. It was our first time in Greece and we absolutely loved every minute of our stay. Definitely recommend it to everyone and I'm sure that one day we will go back.

Pythagorion is in south of Samos.
Pythagorion is in south of Samos. So it has very important issue to keep in mind. The winds in Aegean sea mostly are northern wind , it may be pleasent at high seasons but sometimes it is boring to have waves all the time. Since we live in around Aegean sea our preference is always south costs where south wind is seldom and nice breeze from north.SolenTurkey - 10Scored 10

Architecture is typical of Aegean. Main street is closed to traffic after noon time. There are lots of cafe and restaurant alternatives in town. Free car parking is availlable. There was no place to performs greek music or sirtaki dance.ALITurkey

I’m not a breakfast person, but they have a nice breakfast service every morning. Rooms are clean with great views of the sea and the port. Hotel is really close to the beach and to the centre! Friendly staff and a pleasant ambiance. Breakfast was too much for us after a dinner the night before, so only had it twice during our stay. Not a buffet, a selection of plates brought to the table with a variety of food - yoghurt, eggs, ham, cheese and bread. Was more than adequate.
