Wauw - what a nice place. The room was very spacious, especially the bathroom. Very clean, very modern equipment. We watched the sunset out of the balcony of one window side and the sunrise on the other. The view on the water castle of Bourtzi in the Argolic gulf is breathtaking. The reception provided even beach towels for the beach which is in walking distance from the Guesthouse. We loved the breakfast, a buffet with homemade bakeries and local food beautifully presented and cared for by the chef and his team.
Hidden under the rock of Akronafplia, Hotel Marianna offers traditionally styled rooms. The communal patio comes with views over the picturesque town of Nafplio, the historic castle of Palamidi.

We stayed in Nafplio for 2 days but we could have stayed much longer because it is beautiful town with many places to visit. From here we went to Epidaurus, Tyrins and Mycenae, all these are extraordinary archeological sites. The Palamidi fortress is a huge medieval citadel that sits on a hill overlooking the city, very impressive and well conserved, a masterpiece on itself. The problem there is the parking lot which is really very very small for the huge amount of visitors. It is very crowded at most times. The city center is very picturesque, narrow streets with beautiful houses and flowers everywhere, lots of small shops and boutiques.

Nafplio is a lovely and picturesque town, with lots of good restaurants and shops. It's in a lovely setting, and there are a fair few things to see and visit in the town itself, while it also makes a great base for exploring the rest of the Peloponnese. The only thing it lacks is a top quality beach, which is perhaps just as well or it would be overflowing with tourists!

although nafplio itself is not large, especially if you stick to the old town which is the most interesting part it is a good base for local tours either with a bus/ktel, affordable taxi or a car. We would have liked to at least check out Epidavros as well and a near by monastery. if you plan to visit nearby sites without basing your self in nafplio 2 days is plenty other wise 4 days to fit Mycenae and Epidavrus

3 nights max is perfect for Nafplio during the winter season...
3 nights max is perfect for Nafplio during the winter season. The city is beautiful, the Venesian forst was fabulous and the food is good. The only issue I have with the city is the terrible smell, air quality that seems to start around 5pm and continues until about 8 pm.
The house is clean, beautiful, comfortable and cozy, just as shown in the pictures. It is very close to the beach and a few minutes from the city center. You can do everything on foot. Situated in a residential area, Myral Guesthouse is a quiet and perfect place for resting at night after a busy day in town. But on top of all this, Dafne - the hostess - is a wonderful person, always ready to help and with excellent tips for tourists coming to town. We felt at home. When we return to Nafplio, we will certainly try to stay at Myral again.
If traveling to Nafplio (or the general area), look no further. The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of the old town, a short walk to everything, including parking. The family-owner-hosts are just fantastic, embodying the best of Greek filoxenia. The breakfast Panagiota, the mother, prepares in the morning is simply incredible, home cooked with ample portions to carry you through the day. The rooms are beautiful, with everything you need, including stocked with water and a bottle of wine. What, on earth, else is there to say?
A lovely little hotel. It was one of the most memorable places we stayed during our 3-week travel in Greece. Our room was at the third floor, spacious and charming with a full kitchen and a lovely balcony facing to the sea. The balcony had installed with the ropes and clips for drying clothes.
The Mr. owner helped us to order a taxi taking us to the top of the Palamidi Fortress (10 euro one way).
Great location - inside the old town near a free public car park. Try to come early in the day to get a space.
A very nice hotel with lots of character which is what we always look for. We stayed at the 3rd floor and we had 2 windows from where the view was magnificent.
The owner was very nice and he recommended us a great local tavern which was a top choice.
We felt like old times in Greece when we had breakfast in the cosy dining room/bar and loved it.
After had spent 2 nights in Spetses and Hydra we were happy because this was the best hotel out of all of the ones we stayed at. Highly recommended, 10 out of 10!
The hotel is of a small boutique style with its location being very central, right in the center of the old city. It is newly renovated with soundproof windows. The facilities are designed with full functionality. The room was super clean and the bed very comfort. The breakfast was the best we ever had with freshly squeezed juice, a variety of fresh fruits and many choices from local products, which we really enjoyed.
Most importantly, the owners of the hotel are very friendly and helpful.
It was my first time staying in a camping still I really enjoyed it. Especially at night sleeping and listening to the crickets' song. Camping is right next to the bus stop of the bus from Nafplio to Tolo and is very easy to get to it and also travel back to town. There are 3 beaches within a walking distance. The owner Gina and the facility guy Panagiotis are both very nice and friendly
The hotel is wonderful. It was very clean and everything was in our room. The bathroom was spotless, there were even slippers. Shower was exceptional. Bed and sheets were spotless. Breakfast on the rooftop was one of the best.
Staff was very friendly and accommodating as I enjoyed the room so much we stayed another night.
Amazing hotel. Reception staff were exceptionally friendly. Excellent rooms with comfortable beds and amazing bathrooms. Nice to have a walk in shower with reliable hot water and excellent water pressure. Lovely breakfast on the rooftop with views of Nafplio and the Palamidi fortress.
The best hotel among all in our two-week visit to Greece. Room was excellent, location is quiet yet close to restaurants and shops, and it had a great view of the old town also. Breakfast was a generous bounty, and staff were all friendly, helpful and professional.
The room was cozy (small) as advertised but perfect for our first night in Greece. The location was ideal and communication with our host made check in very easy. Breakfast was the best of our entire trip in Greece. It was the best value overall.
It was well located in the center of Nafplion.
The hosts were really kind and available.
The room was clean and beautiful.
The breakfast was amazing ! It was the best one we had in Greece !
Everything was great, I can only recommend it.
A stunning boutique hotel in the heart of Nafplio. we had a balcony looking out on the square.
The staff were wonderful, friendly, helpful, just lovely.
The breakfast in the square was fabulous.
Thank you!
