Villa Pelekanos

Very friendly and hospitable staff. They waiting us on the port and transfer us to the hotel. Hotel is close to the main city Thira. As proof of good service the owners of the hotel give us free of charge late check out.

The host picked us up from the port and dropped us off when we left, for free. We were able to book tours through the hotel at fair rates. We got plenty of information about bus schedules and car/motorcycle rentals. Everything is as described, we had absolutely no bad surprises. The ladies running the place had a very friendly and open attitude; we didn't lack anything.

The breakfast (optional) was not very diverse.

We couldn't find our way to the hotel and the host kindly pick us up when we rang them. And we got to know that they were actually waiting for us at the port earlier on(and we didn't know there was a pick up so we missed it). So do arrange a pick up before your arrival. And the host kindly offer us free lifts to the beach and to Fira town as well. It was 40 minutes walk to the beach but was definitely worth it. The beach of Monolithos is stunning, with black sand, panoramic view of the Aegean Sea, and more importantly, there was nobody so we could feel safe enough to leave our belongings on the beach (still, had to keep an eye on it). There was also very nice landscape of eroded rocks. As for the hotel per se, the location is a bit inconvenient but you can ask the host to give you a lift so it was fine. Only 5 minutes walking to the mini markets and 15 minutes to a supermarket. Many restaurants around. The room was very spacious and clean.

There was a little kitchen with sink and fridge but there wasn't any stove/hot plates somehow. BTW, even if you have make a reservation on booking.com with your card but they only make the transaction in cash only. We didn't know about it so we paid in cash without prior budgeting.

The room was cleaned every day, the pool was very nice, transfer to and from the airport, hot water all the time

The drain from the shower was not good, so the water was flooding the bathroom every time you have a shower. It is a bit far away from Fira...it is 15 min walking to the nearest bus station, but if you rent a car or bike it is not a problem

We stayed 2 days in the middle of June, 2012. The hotel is the best choice for a budget holiday (we acctually were on a package tour in Crete and decided to visit Santorini for a couple of days ourselves as a short 1-day trip which many travel agents sell is not good enough to see this wonderful ireland). Thus, we needed a nice clean budget hotel and we found it - Villa Pelekanos! The owners (Maria and her family) are very friendly and helpful. Our room was small and had only a tiny window but for the price we paid it was absolutely perfect (we rented a car and came to the hotel only to sleep and have a shower). The only problem may be a 20-30 minute walk to the center of Fira (a public bus stop is a 10 minute walk but up the hill) under the sun, so be ready for a work out :))). To sum it up, if you come here, you will find friendly atmosphere, a clean room, the best price, free parking lot, free late check out (we stayed till 3 p.m.), free transfer from and back to the new port and a just little exercise :)

this is definitely a place for you to stay, not too far from Fira, the city centre, around 20 mins walking, or you can take the bus which only takes about 3 mins. The bus stop is near by, so you can access to everywhere in the island. the family is very nice. I absolutely recommend the hotel to everyone

The best & most memorable part if our stay was the owner. She was absolutely amazing and extremely helpful. She made you feel comfortable and at home. We were met by her at the ferry terminal as they provide complimentary pick up transfers. The room itself was very clean and had the basic amenities needed. Very good for a few nights stay. The pool was also very lovely. The place was also in a good location with plenty of restaurants near by all within walking distance. Overall we would definitely recommend staying here.

Le personnel de la villa Pelekanos est très accueillant, et met tout en oeuvre pour faciliter votre séjour.

La famiglia che gestisce la Villa è molto gentile e disponibile. Trasferimento da/a porto o aeroporto è gratuito. Le stanze sono spartane, ma spaziose. La posizione è ottima per visitare tutta l'isola.

Comodo a poca distanza dal centro. Cordialità di mamma e figlia. Molto economico rispetto ai servizi dati. Colazione sufficiente.

El Villa Pelekanos es un hotel sencillo pero muy correcto. Lo reservamos tras leer las críticas tan positivas en esta página, y realmente es una buena elección calidad-precio. Las habitaciones no son modernas pero funcionales: camas sencillas pero cómodas, aseo limpio con ducha, y agua con mucha presión, lo que se agradece ;-) (no hay ammenities ni secador de pelo). Dispone de wifi gratis, y de una piscina genial en la que bañarse tras una jornada de playa de calor sofocante. Si buscáis lujos, éste no es el hotel. Pero es ideal para vacaciones con presupuestos ajustados. La familia propietaria es super amable, hablan todos inglés y ofrecen todo tipo de facilidades: reserva de excursiones en barco, alquiler de moto, etc. El hotel está a tan sólo 5' en moto de Fira, lo cual es comodísimo. No tiene vistas a la caldera, pero tampoco es necesario. La isla es pequeña y en moto se ve siempre la caldera...

Staff molto cordiale e simpatico. Abbiamo soggiornato solo una notte dopo il volo di arrivo a santorini e prima di partire per paros. A noi serviva una stanza per un notte e soprattutto il trasporto dall'aeroporto e per il porto. A dire il vero ci hanno spostati in un'altra struttura simile sempre di loro proprietà ma a noi è andato benissimo così. Il tutto ad un prezzo molto accettabile... 50 euro in due. Rifarei la stessa scelta....

Struttura lontana dalla spiaggia ma a noi non serviva quello.

Etablissement géré par une petite famille très sympa avec un caractère attachant. Ils nous ont récupérés au port puis nous y ont ramené en fin de séjour. Ils ont accepté sans autre de nous changer la 1ere chambre qui ne nous convenait pas. Très belle piscine et Hotel bien situé à 10 minutes de marche de Fira. On apprécie les commerces à prosimité qui sont bcp moins touristiques qu'à Fira et le resto Skaramantis tout près qui est 40 % moins cher qu'a Fira et surtout très bon avec une famille de pêcheurs qui tiennent l'établissement. Très sympa. Arrêt de bus pour les plages situé tout près avec un service de bus assez (on est pas en Suisse) performant. Bref sympa.

Petit déjeuner pas top. Attention aux chambres il y en a de très belles avec balcon et vue et d'autres sans fenêtre et petites, qui lus est avec proximité de route donc bien préciser que vous voulez une chambre calme. Absence de lampes de chevet et de seche-cheveux un peu gênante.

stanza molto piccola, senza finestra, l'arredamento era composto da un unico vecchio armadio. Staff poco cortese, il servizio navetta (che viene offerto sul sito!) è stato effettuato agli orari stabiliti dal gestore poichè aveva solo un mezzo ( e noi siamo dovuti andare in aeroporto tre ore prima...)

Η εξυπηρετηση ηταν αψογη οι ιδιοκτητες ευγενεστατοι και διαθεσιμοι με πολυ καλη συννενοηση και μεταφορα από και προς το λιμανι. Τα δωματια καθαρα. Η αποσταση απο τον κεντρικο δρομο προς Φηρα 7' (σταση λεωφορειου) με τα ποδια και προς τα Φηρα αλλο ενα 10λεπτο. Κοντα στο ξενοδοχειο εχει και ταβερνες και mini market. Θα προτεινα παντως ενοικιαση μηχανης/αυτοκινητου. Σχεση ποιοτητας τιμης εξαιρετική Very kind owners always ready to help. They transferred us from/to the port. Rooms very clean. location 7min walk to bus stop and another 10min walk to Fira. Near hotel taverns and grocery. I would suggest rental of bike or car Absolut value for money room

Περισσότερο προταση: ενα μικρο "φρεσκαρισμα" σε επιπλωση και διακοσμιση θα εκανε μεγαλη διαφορα. Just a suggestion: rooms need a small refreshing in decoration

Piscine tres agreable et propre. Chambre propre avec frigo Nous ont ammene à l aeroport mais attention, cela depend de votre horaire. Les proprietaires sont sympas. Pour 20€ la nuit, c'est parfait pour 1ou 2 nuits

Literie usee, on sent les ressorts du matelas. Tres peu insonorisee

Excellent rapport qualité-prix ! La situation est centrale avec l'arrêt de bus à 10 minutes à pieds. Les mini markets ou le super market sont très proches, pratique si vous voulez cuisiner. Locations de voiture ou scooter à 5 minutes. Quartier en dehors des troupeaux de touristes. La chambre est bien et confortable pour le prix. Piscine trés propre et très agréable ! Personnes charmantes qui sont venues nous chercher au port et nous ont reconduits à l'aéroport. Enfin, elles font tout pour que vous passiez un excellent séjour: écoute et services !

Un peu loin à pieds de Fira et de la plage si pas motorisé. Chambre: dommage qu'il n'y ait pas de lampe de chevet et qu'il faille demander pour le sèche cheveux non présent au départ.

服务好，酒店位置靠近机场，酒店附近有汽车站去Fira和oia。免费接机，飞机晚点两个小时一出机场大厅- 就发现老板拿个牌子在等候我们。住宿条件一般。

性价比高，有个漂亮精致的小泳池，床也很舒适。提供免费接送服务，这家人挺友好的。

天气太热的话，入住要考虑到FIRA中心的步行距离，基本上步行20分钟到FIRA中心，步行8-10分钟到公交车站。
