The double room, bedroom and living area facing the sea was excellent. It is not too far from the ferry port and easy to find. The outside lounge area facing the water was very peaceful and the staff was excellent and refreshments are available as you lounge outside. The staff were warm and welcoming. The walking distance into the heart of the historic town was good. A great find on this island!

Aminess Hotels has purchased the resort since our last visit. Kudos for their upgrades, and the indoor pool refurbish was spectacular! We spent almost a week in May. The reason we returned to Croatia was specifically to be at the Marco Polo and soak in the scenery, changing colors and history again. The Manager, Marina Lovrincevid, was wonderful with the guests, and her team based supervision of the staff. She is an Aminess company gem! Also special thanks to the wonderful staff we interacted with daily, who helped us in every way: Dragan, Emma, Nik, Monika and Yellena. The beds and food are great. The view is imprinted on us forever. If we can ever make it back to Croatia, it will be to return to the Marco Polo. Thanks so much, Suellen and Rick Carroll

Location by the sea, 10mns walk to the old town of Korcula, welcoming staff. The perfect place for a large group of 16 like us, and the “plus” was the parking for 8 motocycles and 2 cars. Welcoming and friendly staff who let us finish diner way passed the closing time of the restaurant.

We spent most of our time in the Old City, which is spectacular. Beautiful old architecture, flowers everywhere, and all surrounded by the Adriatic and mountains. No shortage of good restaurants, most with incredible views. We attended the Moreska Sword Dance performance, which was a lot of fun. There is a small pebble beach nearby. What we loved most were the aesthetic details throughout the old city. We also took a wonderful wine tasting and sightseeing tour, which provided an opportunity to see other parts of the beautiful island.

Old town buzzing with tourists, restaurants in old town predictable and quite expensive. Some more interesting ones just out of town centre. Came to cycle along coast roads. Western road shut off due to maintenance, so the purpose for our visit was ruined. Tourist office had (has) no warning about this on their website, but still advertising the main cycle route. There are a lot of cyclists on the island, with many bike hire shops. Tourist office not being honest by not warning visitors about this closure.

A delightful old town with lots of history and a beautiful waterfront. The unexpected find was the newly renovated Marco Polo Museum. It was beautifully presented and the story was fascinating. It really deserves to be better known - including by the locals! It is worth checking which side of the peninsula has the wind when choosing your restaurant, but a short walk around the options will soon tell you that - and the views are beautiful wherever you are.

Long way to Korčuls island but it is fantastic. Nice people, nice places, beautifull clean sea. Very good road so in 30 minutes you can be from one side of the island to the other. Good vine, nice food and in April it is not crowded.

My second time in Korcula and this time I brought my snorkels and the effort paid off. We snorkeled as much as we could and were gratified by so many sea urchins and star fish! The water temperature in late September was just perfect. We kept going back to this one restaurant Marco Polo because the staff Antonio was informative and entertaining. Their Posip (white wine from Korcula) was bar none the best we had! We kept saying next time we could cut short all the other locations in Croatia and just stay longer in Korcula!
The place is very comfortable and the staff is kind! Good showers and beds, very clean. There's even a small kitchen if you need to prepare your own food. It's quite small, and there are no common areas besides the small kitchen, but it's definitely cosy to stay for one or two nights while exploring the town and enjoying the beach. Korcula is also very small and easy to explore, and the hostel is right in the middle of Old Town.
Hotel Marco Polo was perfect for our vacation. We had a great stay and enjoyed the friendly service, fantastic buffet breakfast and dinner and great wellness and spa zone. Our room was very large, comfortable and sparkly clean. We are definitely gonna back to this hotel if we stay in Korcula again.
We would highly recommend it and we could not pass up the chance to give shoutout to all staff and hotel manager.
We do wish we'd had more time there to truly appreciate the provisions, view, and evenings on the balcony. Surely enjoyed. We have been traveling around for almost a month now with almost 20 stays in various locations in Italy and Croatia. Yours by far was tops as far as welcome, arrangements, and hospitality. Truly made us feel welcomed and spoiled. A five star hotel experience.
Great hotel facing the adriatic, located in the heart of the old town, with parking reserved for the hotel just in front of it. Everything was in walking distance. We enjoyed the spacious and comfortable room with a balcony overlooking the sea. The breakfast included in the room rate was exceptional, and we will stay there again without hesitation.
Great beds, bathrooms, and breakfast. We paid up for a suite but could hardly use the balcony because of all of loud noise from the screaming kids, honks and horns from the water polo tournaments across the street. Breakfast fruits and eggs were great. Nice bathrooms. Comfy beds. Spacious suites. 5 min walk to town. Great beach in front of hotel.
Incredible hotel right in the heart of Korcula. Location was perfect, staff very attentive and helpful. Small but beautiful breakfast. The rooftop alfresco was very special.
Rooms were spacious and turned over daily.
Everything you need is close by: tourist agency, shops, supermarket, restaurants ect.
Would absolutely come again!
We spent 4 nites at Safirus. Everything was very clean and comfortable. Lovely location. Bernarda is a wonderful host and made sure we felt welcomed. Bernarda provided us with information for shopping, wineries. and restaurants. We completely enjoyed our stay on Beautiful Korcula. Marian Steinert
The hotel is in a great location, close to the center where you can walk for shopping and dinners. The only downside is that some nights the yachts had loud parties and I couldn’t get to sleep until after 3am - I should have joined them!
The staff were all nice and professional.
Lovely view from the seaview rooms. Staff were so very helpful. Many choices for breakfast which is included in your price. Staff park your car and bring it back on check put. Only steps to old Town Korcula. Beautiful area. Would highly recommend staying here.
Excellent hotel, friendly staff and high levels of cleanliness. Great G&T bar with fantastic cocktail mixologist. Food was very good, variety at breakfast, beach bar food was tasty. Easy access to surrounding islands and into Korcula Town via water taxi.
The hotel is new and modern, nicely arranged. Our room was bright and spacious with a view, the bed was large and comfy, and the shower was excellent. The food was delicious and the portions were generous. But above all, the stuff is superb.
We liked that the hosts welcomed us very well. They pick us up at the ferry to go to the hotel by car. They explained us all activities to do around and were very friendly. The location is quite close to the old city of Korčula.
Lovely guest house with an even lovelier host! Perfect location to explore the beautiful old town of Korcula. The room was comfortable and spotlessly clean. Great value for money!
Its location was perfect, easy walking around the town. Lovely water views and excellent communication with owner. Enjoyed Korcula and recommend this apartment. Thank you.
The hotel was
really close to the old town! The staffs were super friendly.
The room itself was a bit old - especially the bathroom was very small (and Stinky) !
It was a beautiful stay in a cool and new hotel. Everything was clean, and we got fresh towels everyday. In front of the hotel there were free parking spots.
