If you're big on customer service, you will absolutely love it here! It's a family-run hotel, and the staff are extremely helpful, friendly and approachable. Excellent customer service! In fact, the best I've experienced. They'll provide you with all the advice and tips you may need. The hotel itself is perched upon rocks and stands out as a characteristic building/structure. My room had a balcony overlooking the river Cetina and the canyon.
An absolute must visit!
The restaurant has a beautiful terrace where I had my breakfasts ...while marvelling at the surrounding Omiška Dinara Mountains 😍.
I loved it here (as a solo traveller) and will return with my partner! Oh and the rooftop jacuzzi was a touch of luxury I really enjoyed, too! Literally the best 360 degree views of Omiš! Special thanks to Ante for all the advice regarding hiking in the area! My holiday was everything I wanted and needed! Couldn't have asked for anything else!

Small place, too crowded, everything walkable.
Many supermarkets, restaurants and shops.
Some tourist attractions, impossible to visit in the hot water, for example to climb to the castle on the top of the mountain.
Rafting on Cetina river was amazing.
One can take boat trip on the Cetina canyon.
The beach is open, with umbrellas and sunbeams too. Clean water to swim.

We picked Omis because of the activities that were available there and we were not disappointed. We did rafting, a speedboat tour to the blue cave and some islands, ziplining, trip to Krka National park and jet skis. We were going to do canyoning but decided on a beach day instead. If/when we return we will also do a boat ride up the river and hire a boat and go across to some islands. Our 17 year old sun did not get bored! The old town is lovely, although very busy. There are many restaurants that were all very nice. Most sold the same sorts of food consisting of a range of meat and fish/seafood dishes as well as pasta and pizza. Some of them specialised a bit but we all ate well every night for a reasonable price. There are also a few souvenir shops and shops selling beach items.
Be aware fruit is expensive at the stalls. One nectarine was 3 euros. We spent 38 euros on 4 nectarines, 2 plums, 1/4 watermelon and some grapes and a significant amount had to be thrown away. Other than that the food is reasonably priced with several small supermarkets throughout Omis.
Whilst a guide on one of our trips considered the beaches to be sandy, they are not what we think of as sandy- more shingle mixed with sand. Think builders sand. Saying this, the beaches were clean and the sea is crystal clear and we still spent time there and would return.
You can pay by card in the restaurants and supermarkets but the activities, food stalls and small shops were cash only. Not a problem in itself but we wished we had gone prepared for this as it meant we had to take cash out of the ATM a few times.
Public toilets cost 1 euro to use. This can add up if your out for the day and there are a few of you.
Overall a great place to be. we would recommend and return here.

Omis is an amazing location for people (singles, couples or families) who are looking to explore Croatia's amazing country side by doing as little or as much as you want. There is an abundance of activities which are aimed at varying levels of fitness with some activities more suited to those adrenaline junkies. Would recommend visiting during the summer time but would still be amazing during autumn or spring.

Good place to stay if you don't like crowded tourist places.
Good place to stay if you don't like crowded tourist places. The city is charming. It has everything one may need - historical Old Town, sunny beaches, restaurants and cafes, magnificent mountains and river.
Its location is good to explore the surroundings.
Ema, the apartment ambassador, was wonderful. Very helpful and supportive. As it's difficult to park close to the property, she arranged a parking space within walkable distance (4min). She also managed absolutely awesome breakfast in the hotel on the other side of the road. If you are going to Omis, don't look for anything else. Stay here, this is your spot.
PS: even if the apartment is very close to the main road, don't worry about it. You can barely hear any noise.
PS2: All the restaurants are within a 2min walk
We spend the weekend in the apartment and would certainly recommend it. The property seemed brand new and was beautify decorated. The location was perfect for us, it was a walking distance to the town, the town beach and the zipline centre (the Omis zipline was the absolute highlight of the trip). The stunning view of the mountains was an added bonus! The property was clean, well equipped and very comfortable. Marijana was an amazing host, she showed us around the apartment and gave us great recommendations.
We were greeted with a warm welcoming arms! Bernard made sure we had fresh fruits , coffee and wine! The kitchen is fully stocked with all you need! The villa is brand new ,so beautiful and comfortable it was hard for us to leave and go explore ! Omis is a cute quaint town , but not far from the well known split and walk to local beaches! I would consider this a five star luxury villa! So happy with our decision and would definitely book again and recommend .
Ps the villa also had a mini spa 🧖♀️
we really enjoyed the views around the hotel, as well as the location itself. The breakfast was very good, lots of choices and (again) that wonderful view from the terrace was the highlight.
The furnishing of the rooms could maybe use a little interior design update - but it was very clean and we slept well in the bed. We liked it overall very much and would come only to this hotel if in Omiš again. Also the staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful.
We definitely recommend it!
Location - luckily the beach was idilic, sunsets beautiful.
Sea - classic Croatian crystal clear sea, we spent as long as we could in it to avoid the accommodation.
Staff, very friendly, credit to the area.
Food - having been to many all inclusives, it was really good and consistently also.
Summary - location amazing, staff good, however..... massive and critical need for updating the accommodation and amenities.
The apartment is in a quiet area but at a stone's throw from the main attractions of Omis and even closer to the best beach we've found in town (Brzet). It's well equipped, and the owner was very nice and quick to provide us with all the information and help we needed. There was five of us, the kids occupied the living room, the teenager and the parents the bedrooms.
We enjoyed absolutely everything. These apartments were the best place to stay in all of Croatia. The landlord was very kind, helpful and helped with all possible questions. The apartments have everything thought of. Cozy terrace, wonderful location and sea view. Top recommendations.
A great, modern hotel in the heart of Omis! Very clean and an exceptional breakfast offering loads of choice. I really enjoyed the extra facilities such as the gym and private spa for an hour inc steam, sauna and jacuzzi for less that 11 pounds! Greatly recomended!
Quite location. Perfect for families with children.
Nice view from balcony.
Personal beach with sunbeds, skits and other things needed for relaxing holidays.
Location is between Makarska and Omish/Split, so you can visit them in 30 min with the car.
They have an elevator.
After lugging two large suitcases up and down stairs for the whole vacation so far, it was sooooo nice to have an elevator for a change. 10 rating just for that! But also, the view from the room was maybe the best one in Omis.
We had a fantastic stay in the Plaza Duce! The facilities are impressively clean and modern, with beautiful pools & beach bar and lovely food. However, the best part was the genuinely friendly staff that made us feel so welcome. Thank you!
The location was excellent. Easy to walk to a bakery (2 min), a grocery (4 min) and a sandy beach (10 min). The view is great. The outdoor terrace is spacious. The host speaks Croatian, German and Italian.
super clean, only 12 rooms. great attitude staff. been traveling for 2 weeks we had our best food there. I never eat at the hotels. decided to give it a chance, the best food ever. unique artistic taste
I’ve never been in better hotel in Croatia. I recommend this hotel to everybody. Nice hotel, great staff and perfect brakefast… p.s. If you are there, order cocktail by the pool and enjoy 😊
in the historic center of Omis. Everything was great with my stay. I needed a last minute stay so that I could explore the area in the morning. it was a very usable apartment.
