Nice, clean hotel with good location for walking.
Food is OK, but nothing special. Classic selection.
We were there during Umag Trophy and they managed it very good. There were hundreds of kids, but everything went smooth.
Residence Garden Istra Plava Laguna will undergo a complete renovation and improvement, both of the accommodation capacities and the common areas in the building.
Located only 30 metres from the beach, Villa Rosetta in Savudrija provides guests with deckchairs and beach towels.

Thank you for the opportunity to stay at your hotel. The hotel is of the highest standard, the rooms and the view from them are the best I have ever seen. The gentlemen from the reception and the restaurant made every effort to make your stay at the hotel unforgettable. I recommend the best hotel in Selka.

matrass quality was not that good to sleep on a day before a big ultra run, and for the days to recover.
room temperature was also way to high around 24 25 °C while it was much cooler outside. even with the windows open it wouldnt cool down, and the air circulation system did not work while windows were closed.

Lovely seaside small town. Walkable and bikeable streets.
Lovely seaside small town. Walkable and bikeable streets. A few beaches nearby. Amazing restaurant strip on the seashore. Family friendly activities during the day. Day trips by boat to see dolphins. Friendly locals. A few older churches and bell tower, all free to visit. Not bustling, more of a relaxed vibe. Gorgeous views of the sea. A great day trip, or to stay for 2-3 nights. Bring a car but be prepared to pay for hourly parking by the sea as street parking is difficult (1.5 euro/hr, 31 euro 24 hrs).

Unfortunately we had terrible weather so our experience is not indicative of the norm. Umag appears to be the ideal place for families and tennis players. Lots of recreational activities (snorkeling, playing courts, rental for jet skis, ATVs etc.). There are walking & cycling paths along the built-up parts of the coastline from Katoro to Umag, but these are very crowded. There is a lot of bustle (and traffic) in the area even though there is a "mini train" to get around the various resorts. This is the place to go with other people to do stuff outdoors, and not to seek peace and quiet.

It's a good place for couples, but I'm glad I didn't bring my kids. Most beaches are super rocky and are not developed for families. Could use more varied cuisine, but pretty area and close to many wonderful wineries and olive oil makers. Locals are friendly. One resort seems to own the whole town and is obnoxiously big and intrusive

Umag is a very nice and small place, so you can go anywhere by walk. Prices in restaurants are totally fair. I’m suggesting you to visit Sea Star Festival, one of the biggest in that part of Croatia. Prices in stores are way too high.
The apartment was very nice, well equipped and very clean. Breakfast on the balcony was enjoyable. There are a few restaurants in the vicinity, so we got to enjoy dinners in an authentic Istrian konoba. The hosts were amazing, very friendly and made our stay very comfortable. They picked us up from the bus station and in the next 9 days offered us a ride to Umag several times. We also had the possibility to use their bicycles. It was also nice to run and walk in the area. The two cats in the yard made us smile every day.
The hotel location is really good.
Private beach with a sandy area for kids, long promenade along the sea lasting up to the Umag city so you can have a walks every day. If you'll be lucky enough to get the sea-side room on the 4th floor - you'll have a stunning sea view.
Every day there is a small music program at the small stage between the canteen and the pool: sometimes artists are really good and we had a couple of evenings when we really enjoyed live music and signing.
SPA - I was lucky to have a good massage.
New resort with well equipped apartments, fine parking in underground garages, swimming pool with sunbeds and beach umbrellas, superb vista.
Good location, not inside the center, but if you want, you can be there by harbor promenade in five minutes, nice old town.
Distance from the apartment to the best beach in Umag is 1,3 km (measured), so nice walk, no problem for us, several other beaches around.
Communication with resort agency during the stay was excellent, details resolved.
My recent stay at the hotel was nothing short of exceptional, largely thanks to the outstanding service provided by Danijel Korenika and Katarina Trivanovic. From the moment I stepped through the doors, their attentiveness made me feel like a VIP guest, anticipating my every need with warmth and professionalism. Their dedication to ensuring a memorable experience truly elevated my stay, leaving me eager to return and indulge in their unparalleled hospitality once again.
Exceptional family Hotel, this is what Hospitality should be. Great stuff, extremely clean rooms, excellent breakfast with home specialties. Free parking and fast Wi-Fi. Beside hotel, here is also restaurant and they prepare delicious fish specialties.
In front of Hotel is a bay where you can swim. Exceptional property fee minutes by car from Umag. They gave us so many local tips, what to visit, where to go. Thank you, we will come again.
Great family run and owned establishment. We have been here previously and we’re just as happy with our room and all amenities as we were the first time we visited. This is the only place we prefer to stay at during our trips to Istria.
Breakfast absolutely fantastic- freshly prepared and both hot and cold food selection. Pool area was private and the cleanliness of the room and all areas was outstanding.
Its very close to the beach, and the city center as well. Several shops for food in walking distance. The flat has airconditioning which is pretty awesome during the summer. The kitchen is well equipped. The owner (and his mother) are very nice, if you need anything they will help you find a solution. We wanted to rent bikes, and next day a guy was waiting for us with some, so it was great.
It is located ten minutes from the center of Umag, in a quiet area. The hotel has a nice, modern, well-equipped outdoor pool and good parking. The room rate included breakfast which was plentiful and delicious. The owner greeted us who was very helpful, here I would single out the staff who are extremely kind and pretty too🙂. It was a pleasant experience, I would come back here anytime.
Very polite and friendly hosts. They were helpful, and gave us tips where to go, and what to check out (restaurants, beaches, attractions). New apartments fully equipped and clean. The bathroom fully equipped like in 5 star hotel rooms. Bed comfortable, Kitchen fully equipped. Good place to relax. beaches within Umag are very nice. Free parking.
The location of this room was perfect..right across the road from the promenade and halfway between Umag and Stella Maris. The owners, Toni and Linda, couldn't have been nicer and responded quickly when I messaged them. The walking shower was a treat after using many tiny shower stalls on this trip.
The hotel was well presented and in a quiet position. The rooms were large and well equipped and the bathroom was modern and spotless.
It was good to have a fridge and kettle with a supply of coffee and tea.
Breakfast was excellent .
The manager was super helpful especially when we first arrived .
The hotel is nice, very close to the beach and to the city Umag. We appreciated the rooms with sea view.
I traveled with my parents which celebrated their anniversaries and it was a beautiful surprise to receive bottle of sparkling wine in the room from the hotel management. Thank you again!
Food was great, all inclusive serving only domestic products has totaly diffrent meaning in Croatia, all the drinks were excelent... Animation team was excellent Valentina and Ivan esspecialy our daughter love it. Rooms ware very clean and nice. Overall expirience was totaly fine.
Numerous facilities for kids, swimming pools, playgrounds, our 4 year old girls were absolutely thrilled.
Our recommendations primarily for families with kids, but we also had a great time there.
The location of the hotel, right next to the sea. The rooms are big and clean. I could see the sea from the bad, large windows with a lot of light. Very good breakfast with lot of choices.
