Large room in the hotel’s annex across the street. Loved the space, the design of the armoire with drawers underneath and space for one’s luggage. Newer heating. Was like new. Large bathroom with very nice walk-in shower where the water actually stays in a fairly confined space and drains where it is supposed to! Loved the heated floor in the bathroom for how it felt underfoot but also because it helped dry out our towels and some hand-washed laundry.
Friendly and helpful staff
Easy parking just a block away

Close to the beach, many things to do. It has everything we need and not go out to the community.

Premises are wonderful, traditional rustic stone built, beautiful and spacious bathroom with tiles to die for, rustic style interior, comfy bed, pool, tidy lawn, villa surrounded by trees, restaurant, staff is friendly and helpful, we got a free meal due to the fact restaurant was pre-booked for birthday party, so we couldn't eat there (and weather was too bad to dine on the restaurant terrace. But we were served in our room without charge. They are also pet friendly so next time I'll bring a dog too. Food was delicious, we tried Istrian cheese and prosciutto, stuffed spicy peppers, baked olives, almonds, fried zucchinis...

Great staff, very nice, although they don't speak English (they do Italian and German), very close to the city centre, the city is extremely beautiful. Nice balcony and garden with BBQ outside, very well prepared. The rooms are big enough, one big bathroom and a smaller one, good enough for 8 people at least.

It is very convenient for us that Bale is somewhere in the middle between Pula and Rovinj, also many great sights to see such as Kamenjak, also a lof of small islands to visit. We really enjoyed our stay. We stayed for 5 nights and it was much too short! Could visit for a month.

Bale is located within driving distance to bigger tourist attractions (Pula, Brijuni/Fazana, Rovinj are 20-25 min away), which makes it close enough to explore and far enough to avoid noise and crowds. I loved its location, because it is also convenient for outdoor activities (proximity of sea, biking, hiking). I loved the old city, cobbled streets, beautiful vistas. I would recommend it equally to those looking for an active vacation experience or to those just looking to relax.

Charming quiet town.
Charming quiet town. Well maintained homes and a small number of shops and eateries. Although we were told it was typically Istrian unlike other towns we visited it had hardly any commercial establishments. It is not on the water but close by. As with any older Istrian town you park outside the center and walk with no cars to bother you!

A truly charming and one of a kind historic town, with all sorts of surprises, from great dining (La Grisa and Istra are two musts), to lovely cafes, eventful summer ( I need to come back for Jazz festival) and pristine nearby beaches (reachable via free town provide transport). And, nearby activities, including nearby Rovinj, biking on trails, wineries, olive orchards, water parks, etc, just make it, for us, a repeat location for our exploration of Istria and it's surroundings.

Very nice medieval town. Only few tourists.
Very nice medieval town. Only few tourists. Good restaurants. Ideal place to stay if you look for a quite place. 6 - 10 km to the beach. To get around a car is necessary. Ideal place for an elderly couple without kids.
The property is exquisite. It is one of the most wonderful places I have ever had the pleasure of visiting. The accomodations are first rate. They are very comfortable and well maintained. The views are exquisites. The amenities are second to none. I don’t know of a more perfect place to vacation. So friendly, helpful and accommodating. The service is amazing. The on site markets are inexpensive, well stocked with wonderful breads and produce. The food at the restaurants is superb. The place is simply unmatched.
We got upgraded to the Villa, and it was amazing, beautiful house with hot tub, with lovely views and pool that belonged to the guest of the villas only.
The location was excellent as well, short drive away from Bale (worth a visit for sure) and only half an hour from Rovinj and Pula.
The site had a little shop, a bakery, restaurants, toilets. The house was very well equipped.
Overall we were really happy with the place and are planning to go back someday.
Very friendly and genuine local host. He was happy to help with good advices for a wonderful stay. He designed the garden himself, clearly with the comfort of his guests in mind. One was always able to find some shade in the garden, and could thus enjoy the refreshments one could prepare in the outdoor kitchen. The AC in the room was very good and not noisy. The room was a one minute walk away from the village center of Bale.
This apartment is in a great location, in the center of Bale. Extremely clean, spacious, functional and nicely decorated. The beaches are very close and Bale itself is a wonderful town for sightseeing. Rovinj is only 10-15 minutes away by car and many other beautiful small towns are also nearby. Free parking is very close to the apartment.
Nice little hotel in the middle of a small village. Built inside a few local houses in the old town. Has a few rooms, swimming pool, good restaurant and bar. Public parking space is across the road (but is completely full in the season). Air conditioning, reception, everything is fine. No elevator, just stairs.
Very nice, quiet boutique hotel. Friendly staff, room spacious and extremely clean. Very good breakfast with a large selection of food. I just missed some fresh vegetables, everything else was great. I also recommend dinner at the hotel restaurant. Very tasty food and a good selection of local winemakers.
Our favourite place in Croatia! Bale is so relaxed and this hotel is right in the historic center. When we arrived we got a welcome drink and could chill in the café. We loved that we could eat right there in the courtyard. Radio Swiss Jazz plays in the background. Amazing experience.
Very clean. Very friendly staff. Easy walk to old city center. Free parking. Free pass to beach club with stay. Bale is a beautiful city well worth the visit! Ana and Franco treated us like family, offering us some melon and helping us carry our things to our room.
Place is very nice. Beautiful old quarters with modern insides. Breakfast was delicious. The wines are nice too. paying for every tasting (for each wine to taste) 25 Kuna ($4) is a little steep, though. They are quite generous with the pouring, though.
The room was tidy and comfortable
The pool very clean and not crowded
Owner is welcoming and gave us recommendations for the visit
The place is kept quite and exclusive, there are cats around with a lovely garden next to the property
Everything was perfect! Very well equiped apartment with all amenities. Location in the middle of Bale. The host was very friendly and helpful. We were also last year, and we would come back next year. Thank you for everything!

Bale is an amazing village in a beautiful part of Istria. The house is well located in a beautiful square and the house is tastefully decorated. Sanya was extremely accommodating to all our needs.
