Peace and relaxation, that's how you can call the experience we lived in this place. Neat room, friendly staff. I will definitely come back. In the mornings, it is very pleasant to hear the chirping of migratory birds and not sparrows or crows, as is the case everywhere in RO. There's a jacuzzi at the main floor and a little spa, a well place to spend the afternoon.

Easy to reach by car. Close to Miskolc by car.
Easy to reach by car. Close to Miskolc by car. Amazing pools and thermal baths. Cheap prices. Not very crowded. Perfect for relaxing, walks and thermal baths. Nice local restaurants and bars. Expected expenses beside accommodation for 2-3 meals (at least 1 at the restaurant) and daily thermal baths entrance can be afforded with only 35-40 euros/day/ person.

The Cave Bath was a real positive surprise to me because my expectations were a considerably smaller pools in the cave. An advice for everyone, if you'd like to have a snack or a meal you better leave the facility because pretty close to the entrance you can find acceptable value for your money. Inside the bath the service is chaotic and the food you don't want to eat.
There are other spas and baths in the place beside the Cave Bath but we did not have the chance to try them. They seems to be pretty pricey.
The place is not for party people because after 10pm you'll not find anything open.
Another surprise (negative one) were the prices which are pretty much the same you can meet in Budapest only that the service is bellow the level you can find in the capital of the country.

Thermal baths are old-fashioned but clean
Thermal baths are old-fashioned but clean
I paid after showing the vaccination certificate .
Many locker rooms, showers and toilets everywhere.
The staff does their job very well.
I did not like the exposure of young or old lovers everywhere in every corner especially in the cave.
I thought it was exaggerated and I don't think children need to see so many love scenes.

It is very closed to Miskolc.
It is very closed to Miskolc. Miskolctapolca has a beautiful walking area with ponds and great forestry. It is very safe and travellers friendly. Both bath places( regular and the cave bath) is clean, well maintained n good fun. If yr accommodation is located on the Miskolctapolcai street try the Kemences Vendeglo menu. Fantastic food and service. On the same street y can find a Post Office and Pharmacy too.. Behind the to the Cave Bath is a nice pond to enjoy and some boat to hire. Have a great time.

My favourite place in Miskolctapolca is the cave bath.
My favourite place in Miskolctapolca is the cave bath. It's a unique place where you can bathe in thermal waters in a gorgeous cave system. There are outdoor pools you can enjoy too. The town has a small bobsleigh track as well. It's safe and good fun. Csülök Csárda is a great place for eating out. They specialise in a wide range of dishes from pork, they have other types of meat too. It's easy to get around Miskolctapolca. Lillafüred is a short drive from there, which is a beauty spot. You must go there if you're around.
Very nice and very clean spa.
Jacuzzi was very relaxing.
Draft beer Pilsner Urquell very good and cheap.
We stayed 5 nights, and we go there for Thermal Cave Bath (old fashion - but clean place)
Across the Aurora Hotel there is the Ellipsum spa, we stayed there entire day and enjoyed every minute there
Last night the room repeatedly had a power outage, but the receptionist solved the problem by give us another room.
Very good value for money. It is located close to the nearby park and cave bath. There is even a nice little pizzeria nearby, and Tuscanulum kisvendéglő (another, fancier restaurant) is also not far. The host even gave us a 10% voucher for the latter!
The room was spacious and cozy for the price, with a private bathroom. A small kitchen is available for guests.
The host is friendly and helpful.
A lovely hotel; we were pleasantly surprised when our double room turned out to be a large bright suite, complete with two couches, a eating area overlooking geranium-filled window boxes and an efficiency kitchen. Breakfast area/restaurant has a cozy hunting lodge feel. The front desk receptionist went out of her way to find details of an upcoming concert we were interested in.
everything was perfect! the staff was incredibly attentive, helpful, and friendly. breakfast was delicious, substantial, and cheap. everything was incredibly clean and comfortable, and the location was just 5 minutes from the bus to town and the cave baths. the staff was the highlight though, I would recommend anyone stay here because of them!
Amazing mini hotel near thermal baths! It is located on a small hill (easy walk up) in a 7-minute walk to the baths and the water park. An incredible owner who will help in absolutely any situation. Delicious breakfasts. Thank you for your hospitality!
It was very good place for stay!
Staff is very friendly.
Cleanse was perfect.
Warm outside swimming pool-just perfect.
One of the Best breakfast I ever seen in hotels!
Great spa with spa rituals!
Must visit place!
Nice and comfortable hotel nearby the most famous baths in the region (10 min walk).
the personnel in the hotel are kind and helpful.
the atmosphere in the hotel is unique with its typical Hungarian style.
Phenomenal! Easy parking, decent wifi, and close to the cave baths. Refrigerator in room and access to kitchen for coffee/microwave/stove top needs. Excellent place!
