The city is pleasant for everyone who wants thermal pleasures, peace and relaxation. Heviz is also a very clean city. The thermal lake, churches are also worth a visit... My personal opinion is that most of the restaurants are lower middle class. We ate at Magyar csarda, where the quality of the food was appropriate for the price. A bit disturbing is the overabundance of Thai massages.

I was happy, at we have a nice wetter to...... In february its calm, and not to many people.... If you would like moor to look or roundabaut, better to take a taxi, or a car. Dont like to foot , in the near , You can visit Keszthely , or The Balaton-see...... THe food as well, and we hve in Hotel any possibility.... I, and my hospand are olderly guest, we cant not well to foot..... We have visitet the ruin from romers, Churchs and museum Heviz.... make a littly trip to Balaton.... I think to have a car wood be better....Izabella

After a renovation facilities improved. I liked also welcome drink and free parking. Spa in Carbona hotel is amazing, especially roman hot bad. I have been in all hotels in Heviz and I am sure that is the best option when price is not too high. Staff is very friendly and the offer you towels and all things at each step. There was enough food for breakfast and for dinner (a buffet type); the offer varied a bit every day; the quality was very good. There was a piano player in the evenings. The hotel is equipped with a wellness area with unlimited access - a warm outdoor pool, a small indoor pool, several types of sauna, a salt room. You can reach the Heviz lake by foot within a few minutes.

We lived in an apartment on the ground floor, the villa with garden has got multiple floors and is on a slope. The apartment has has got three rooms, kitchen and two bathrooms. Parking is within a fenced area right next to the apartment. The owner is very friendly and helpful. I can highly recommend this accommodation.

But first we checked in at the hotel itself and did not like the room offered, it was different than the pictures at booking. The kind management than solved this and changed us to another room, and we really enjoyed our stay. Location wise you can not wish a better situation, just a pleasant walk to the lake and spa facilities.
