We have stayed here quite a few times now and always happy with the experience. The room and bathroom were clean, spacious and comfortable. Elevator access and on site parking a plus. We also enjoyed dinner in the dining room. We like the town and the walks- it’s also very accessible by car from there to all the Boyne Valley monuments and attractions. Staff were lovely.
Set beside the banks of the River Boyne and within acres of picturesque Irish countryside, Boyne View House offers free on-site parking and a garden for guests to relax in.

Our family of 5 absolutely loved our stay at the Boyne View house. Everything was so neat, clean, and the apartments had all modern appliances/ necessities. It was pet friendly which was very helpful since we were traveling with a service dog. I cannot express how lovely it was to meet Deirdre and Anthony. They even have tea, coffee, bread, jam, farm fresh eggs, and bread for us to make a lovely breakfast. The beds were very comfortable, and the location of the farm was perfect for our visit to Trim. I would highly recommend this accommodation. Our family loved it and will definitely return on a future trip.

Very nice and welcoming hosts. Nice room. Parking available. Quite close to Trim and Trim Castle, Hill of Tara
Trim has a great castle, used in the filming of Braveheart.
Trim has a great castle, used in the filming of Braveheart. The guided tour of the keep is quite good. There is a friendly family of donkeys in a pasture just down the road from the castle and you are allowed to feed them (a sign with foods that are allowed is in the pasture). Trim is a great base for exploring Bru na Boinne, Mellifont Abbey, the Hill of Tara and other areas of interest. I actually;lly would have stayed 3-4 nights instead of 2, but we had reservations in a different area.

Trim castle is awesome!
Trim castle is awesome! The tour provides historical, anecdotal and architectural context for the structure, and the grounds have detailed markers and schematics to help you understand what you're seeing. We needed more time to explore the grounds, the ruined Abbey, and surrounding areas. Dinner at the Stock House restaurant provided a good steak and interesting decor to explore. Definitely a stop for a day or two on our next trip to Ireland.

We only stayed in Trim one night.
We only stayed in Trim one night. We went to the castle which is in pretty good shape. Entry is free but you can pay for a guided tour of the Keep which you should do.
We ate dinner at the Trim Castle Hotel in the Bailey Brasserie. It is a little expensive but we thought the meal was very good. The host was friendly and helpful. The only issue we had was that our waiter was very busy and not very attentive but this would not keep me from returning.

Came to the hotel for a wedding.
Came to the hotel for a wedding. Lovely scenery of the castle from the rooftop and some rooms. The food was delicious and the portions were very generous. My room was nice and had everything I needed and the breakfast was very nice. I paid €190 for 1 night stay in a double room which I thought was too expensive for a Monday night but overall I enjoyed my stay.

Trim is a beautiful town, with plenty to interest both...
Trim is a beautiful town, with plenty to interest both adults and children. There are plenty of independent cafes and restaurants, making a lovely change from high streets with global chains.
Lovely walks along the river and around the Norman castle, the focal point of the town.
The whole place was clean, gardens well kept and staff were all helpful and friendly. We had full access to the hotel facilities (we stayed in the holiday homes on site) The kids loved the pool which we visited every day. Trim is an ideal location as there is a huge amount to do within an hours drive from anything in Dublin to Tayto Park, to Newgrange and the Hill of Tara and of course Trim Castle itself. The town of Trim is also very well kept and has a lovely feel to it for just walking around.
Cecilia is a great host and she welcomed us to her beautiful home, made us feel like staying with friends. She gave us a lot of information about the area, had maps ready. The room is very spacious, the bed is actually wide, which is not too common in Ireland, the bathroom has a shower and a bath tube, and is also very spacious. The area is very beautiful and quiet and it is only a short drive to the beautiful town of Trim. We had a great stay with Cecilia and will sure come back.
This is a significant, professional golf hotel that doubles as a general visitor hotel. It is very nicely designed and decorated, and it has two large and attractive dining rooms, one formal and one sporty. We only saw the course but didn't play, yet it looked stunning. Food was very good. The spa looked great but was fully booked - need to book ahead of time!
Hosts and staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful. They were fantastic, so kind and helpful. The room was large and bed comfy. The bathroom was small but had the best shower of our trip so far in Ireland. Breakfast was great and plenty of it. Location is very walkable to town center and an easy drive to various sites in the Boyle Valley.
The location is perfect for a visit to Newgrange, and access to the Dublin airport. Mary did everything possible to make our stay comfortable, and provided many tips on places to see in the area. We are very appreciative of her efforts to help us meet some tight deadlines, and make our last 2 nights in Ireland an excellent end to our 2 week trip.
Large rooms with an extremely comfortable bed! The most comfortable of our entire trip. The owner was very welcoming and provided us with recommendations to enjoy our last evening in Ireland. We wish we would’ve had time to try to hot breakfast before leaving for the airport. If we come back to Trim someday, we would without a doubt stay here!
The hostess and her husband could not have been more welcoming. A lovely home in a great location beside Knightsbrook hotel and the heritage town of Trim. Highly recommend this property for comfort, welcome and quality of breakfast. Thank you Mary
Pam and her family are excellent hosts. Very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are very comfortable with a view of rolling farmland. The breakfast is top quality. Trim is a wonderful location to visit on any stay in Ireland.
Everything was perfect... boutique hotel style... lovely room with coffee machine, bathrobes, super soft towels... friendly hosts... lovely breakfast, amazing cafe laté! Walking distance to Trim Castle... we had a lovely stay!
Perfect location and luxurious way to do Trim, friendly staff throughout the hotel, and well decorated for special events. The rooftop terrace and bar adds a while other dimension to the stay and seeing Trim.
Castle Arch Hotel in Trim, Meath County (its where the film Braveheart was filmed) is a fantastic town about 1 hour north of Dublin, Lots of sights to see and fantastic vibrant small town with lots of shops,
Wonderful hotel directly across from Trim Castle with wonderful views. Our room was very well appointed and large. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The entire staff was welcoming and helpful.
Beautiful room in a beautiful hotel. Exceptional service from reception to wait staff in the dining room. I had rental car trouble and the front desk women were very helpful
Oh My Goodness.. Its Official! This is my favourite guesthouse in Ireland... or anywhere for that matter... Love love love Highfield House Guest Accommodataion.
Trim as a town is really beautiful. Hotel and our room were clean, room had nice view of golf course, staff even though very young, we’re very professional.
The location was very close to the city center, Trim Castle and the self guided city tour.
Clean residence, very nice host and close to good restaurants.
